No media player in my device is able to play videos. This happened since the time I tried to install my Amd hd graphics driver but had a system failure and a sudden restart. I reinstalled the driver successfully but still the issue persists. What do I do?

HP Spectre bright spots on Display
Hi I am having troubles with the screen on my HP Spectre vt004tu. I'm seeing lots of little bright spots that are starting to appear which is pretty frustrating. These originally started off as one bright spot, but has increased steadily over the last few months.

Update and restart and Update and Shut Down displays when no updates are showing
Whenever I shut down my laptop, my options include Update options consistently. When I check for updates, there are none. System does shut down, but Update options still show next time.

im just a woman that doesnt know much about computers may not even be under the right subject . i have a 7 month old envy 13 laptop bought at costco hardy use it ....it runs really hot is it suppose to do that?? i really dont know. at the bottom top left hand side.

Pink Haze on Video conference
Hi everone,
I have a problem with my HP EliteBook Folio 1020.
If I connect my laptop in a video conference room, the display is all pink on the monitor.
My laptop screen is fine. Checked with different HP Dock Connector to Ethernet and VGA Adapter.
Other people who use the room have no issues though.
If any driver needs to be updated or roll back please let me know.

HDMI not working after normal update windows 10
Hi, i have a new laptop sinds 01012017 and after 3 months the HDMI port stops working. i have localized that on that specifc date a micrisoft update had run (just a normal one, not specific features, just some random updates.
the problem i have is that the HDMI does not see any output and also my sound cannot be HDMI anymore.
so i am not sure if it is just sofrware or a hardware problem.
i have installed a new clean version of windowns 10, i have run the diagnostics from hp and installed al the new drivers i even had updated my bios. but nothing works.
have someone the same problem here? or fixed it by doing some special magic??

HP port replicator 2005pr screen stops updating
I am using a HP port replicator 2005pr with my HP EliteBook 820. The display on the HP port replicator works fine for a while, then it stops getting updates; the screen displays the same thing and doesn't change. The external port on the laptop is not affected, not sure exactly what was happening with the laptop's display.
I just downloaded the drivers from HP's website yesterday.

Hi,
i have HP 250 G5, with Intel graphic integrated 520 and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Sun XT [Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330 / M430].
Use Ubuntu 16.04 in dual boot.
Use normally Intel graphic driver, but would to use Amd/Ati driver.
How driver can install ?
Try to install some driver, after searching web, also in ubuntu forum, but on boot, i keep problem, no login form available; when uninstall driver and after reboot, form login is ready.
Please, help me.
No really and usefull info found on web.

My touchpad stops to work when Synaptics advanced functions starts

at the beginning the issue was happening randomly, now every time.
I had to disactivate the Synaptics advanced functions start to continue working with touchpad.
Otherwise the touchpad works until the Synaptics advanced start to work.
It shows a disactivated touchpad icon in the control window too.

spectre x360 15 ap012dx: only 1 compatible active stylus?
It seems there's a lot of confusion around this topic of which active stylus is compatible with what.
You must:
1) Have a laptop with a digitizer in the screen. To find these laptops, see (http://www.ultrabookreview.com/10522-complete-list-2-in-1-laptops/)
2) Find an active stylus compatible with your specific laptop. This is where I'm now having trouble.
I currently have this active stylus (HP Active Pen (Synaptics); model number: t5e12aa#abl). But, according to this HP support webpage, I need to get this stylus.
I can go ahead and do that, but my real question is how could it be that only this 1 stylus will work with my laptop? Is there a more complete source for which styluses work with which laptops? There is obviously a much longer list of potential styluses that exist, but it seems I'd have to buy them all to see which ones work.
Why is all this active stylus business so confusing?

Windows 10 Live Mail Tiles are not "LIVE"
Hi! In Windows 10....the live tile on my Start Up looks like this (and it does not change) :
I have to open the Mail app and read the e-mail. The live tile does not show anything though. Is the live tile supposed to show something or not?
I have tried everything I know how to try and researched the internet as always.....
Should know better and just ask the Geek Squad from the very beginning....save myself a lot of time and angst

Problem with HP - 15-ac130nv display
Hello,
I own a HP - 15-ac130nv (ENERGY STAR) laptop with an active warranty and Windows 10, 64 bit.
Serial number: CND6061G4D
Product number: V8T17EA
5 months ago, after switching on the laptop, the screen display would remain black, even though the laptop was operating. I tried connecting it to an external monitor and there was display on the external monitor.
I sent back the laptop to HP Greece (laptop was bought from a store in Greece) to have it fixed. They told me that they had to take off the lid, put back the tape on the back of the screen (or "cabletape", if I am translating properly)
and then put back the screen. This worked fine for a few months, but the same problem resurfaced recently.
I followed the instructions from the HP website and by looking at related questions on this forum:
Step 1: Performed a hard reset
Did not work for me.
Step 2: Connecting an external monitor to test the display
There is a display on the external monitor. Sometimes, even when connected to the external monitor, the display gets fuzzy. I have to press the on/off button to switch off the laptop, but I am afraid that if I continue doing that many times, I'll end up destroying it.
Step 3: Performed a system quick check.
The checked was passed.
Step 4: Updated the Bios and graphics card drivers from the HP support website.
Question: Is this is an indication of a hardware failure, eg. a bad graphics card? HP Greece did not mention any problems when I sent my laptop to them.
I am currently working in Dublin and cannot find the contact details of an HP supported repair center to
have my laptop sent to them for repair. Please advise.

Monitor went Black after Windows 10 Creator Update
I Have an HP 27vx monitor attached to a HP 15 labtop and after the Windows 10 Creator Update the 27" monitor went black. I attached another Hp 15 labtop that does not have the Creator update and the monitor works fine. Is there an HP fix for this? If not, what do you suggest I do? Should I remove the Creator Update?

Blank Display screen after welcome screen
I have an Hp pavillion laptop with Windows 10 creators update.Everything was going fine until today.
Today when I booted up the computer everything went on smoothly upto welcome screen.After login there comes the blank screen with mouse pointer. This problem occurs ramdomly and ones it starts it goes on happening.
Reinstalling graphics driver does not solve the problem either and I have latest graphics driver.
I ran SFC, DISM, Windows Disk cleanup and Disk Defragmenter but nothing solves the problem.
I mainly use the computer for surfing the internet and there are no games.

Webcam and Microphone Not working due to Broken hinge I guess
HI, just recently the hinge of my Hp Notebook 15 laptop broke off and two, three wires came out. After awhile my webcam camera stopped working. When I try using it through Camera app they say camera not found, and when I use it through skype they show a picture of You Cam 6. Can anyone tell me how to get my webcam back, it was fine all these years and when my hinge broke thats when the webcam stopped working. Anyone please help
