Screen brightness won't adjust - Hp pavilion p027tx
Hi,
I am unable to change the brightness of my laptop screen. When I use the the brightness keys, the level indicator goes up and down, as though the brightness of the screen were changing, but the brightness remains at 100%. the same happens when I try to change the brightness through the power settings. I have tried uninstalling the pnp driver and updating it, but this hasnt helped. I also tried this instruction which gave here:
1. Pulling up the Device Manager in the Start Menu.
2. Expand the Monitors section, and right click on Generic PnP Monitor.
3. Then click Enable.
Also updated all the graphic card but still facing the same issue.
Please help me if any one knows the resolution.

Upgrade from windows 8.1 to windows 10 and lost my webcam
My computer originally came with windows 8.1 intsalled and the webcam operating normally.
After i upgraded to windows 10 I lost my webcam cababilitities.
The computer says, webcam not intsalled.

TOUCH SCREEN _+ OFFICIAL HP SUPPORT
Dear HP MEMBERS
I have a problem with my notebook touchscreen, which has broken and it is falling apart.
I need an OFFICIAL HP at the City of Rio de Janeiro, to get the product and replace it.
I have reached the Brazilian officl site of HP, which is horrible and it does not offers the information of replacement and neither knows how to point out a place to buy and replace it.
Is there ANY PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE?! ?
That is becoming a nightmare.
What is the problem with these people?!?

Intel High Def (HD) Graphic Driver won't Install
I am attempting to install sp72836.exe and keep getting the error "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software". This is on a HP 15-f271wm with Intel Processor, 8GB memory, Win 10 64 bit, and a HDMI port.
I had previously tried the other Driver Graphics versions and got one of them to install once, but those now also give me the error message. I always use the Run as Admin for install/uninstall and also check the box that says to delete all files.
Any help would be appreciated.

Touch screen, ENVY X360 intermittently works in BIOS, not in Windows
Laptop was bought by inexperience user. They did not back up data. HDD failed. Replaced HDD. Display

Touch screen works intermittently in BIOS. In BIOS, drag and drop fails, only able to move 2 or sometimes 3 blocks. Touch screen for the block erasure works but not consistently. Sometimes touches on all blocks register, other times one row of 4 blocks, 2 rows of 5 blocks, or even the top 1/3 of the screen do not register.
WIndows - for Pen and touch support it only says Pen support. Touch screen does not function at all in windows. I've gone into device manager, disabled/re-eneabled HID compliant touch screen, uninstalled the driver and rebooted to allow it to reinstall. When I go into Tablet PC to setup, tapping the screen does nothing since it's configured as a Pen device only, no support for plain touch.
Ran the update manager, patches up to date. BIOS up to date. I'm guessing it's a windows setting since touchscreen does work in B IOS, even if inconsistently, but not at all in Windows.

Problem with a Thunderbolt 3 port while trying to output 4K video
I'm trying to use an Anker USB C to HDMI 2.0 adapter to output 4K@60Hz to my TV. When I first connect the adapter, the computer recognizes it and install drivers, but once I connect the HDMI cable it stops working, you can hear the sound of disconnected devices and the laptop screen starts flickering.
This is the second adapter I try. I thought the first one was damaged and they sent another one, but I still have the problem.
I already updated drivers and BIOS.
I already tried with different cables and other monitor and it is always the same result.

display resolution issue
Since I bought this new laptop I met a strange issue: most of the programs installed open in a window with pour resolution!
I could fix some of them by running the troubleshouter, but doesn't worked for google earth.
Here are the error message from Google Earth and how it looks in its window!
And this happened with every single program I put on this laptop: for some reason the programs doesn't open in right resolution window!
Can anyone give me a tip to solve this?

Cannot View Videos
When I try to watch videos on line I cannot do so. I receive a message which says the following: We're sorry, an error has occurred when playing video. Video format is not supported.
What can I do to fix this? Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

i have just bought this laptop last week. The screen keeps going black like it was turned off ive seen online where other people have had the same thing happen to them but it doesnt do it all the time only after its been running a cople of minutes

Colors in new HP are weird
Hello,
My girlfriend recently bought a new HP laptop to replace an old one she had. She use it mostly for editing of photos (with Photoshop and Lightroom). She told me the colors in the new HP are weird, in comparison to the old one. The old one had more smooth and vivid colors, with more visible colours, while the new one shows a more saturated version with less colours.
The new one is a 15-ba061dx, with a AMD Radeon R7 with a WLED backlight HD standard-viewing angle (SVA) BrightView display. The old one is a HP dv6-3150us with Intel Graphics and a High-Definition HP BrightView LED Display.
Is there a way to fix the colors from the new one in order to resemble the colors of the old display?

Mouse disabled and computer is in airplane mode
The computer was working earlier. When trying to login to email on the internet the mousepad stopped working and the cursor changed to a finger with a red line underneath. Also, the computer was on airplane mode. We have tried tapping the top left corner, a hard reset and tried to get out of airplane mode. We were able to get to the airplane mode settings using the keyboard commands but wasn't able to click it off.

Upgrade EliteBook 8470p LCD Panel
Hello all,

I've been looking at LCD panels on eBay, like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/222405827922?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
and in the description, it says: "If you are wanting to go from an HD (1366x768) display to an HD+ (1600x900) display - this will not work." Oddly enough, that's actually what I'm trying to do.
I've also asked elsewhere about upgrading my screen's resolution and I was told that replacing the LCD panel was the only thing I can do to get the higher resolution.
I just want to make sure I get everything right and that I don't end up wasting my money on a new screen.

Nvidia card not working
I have a 820m Nvidia graphic card on hp notebook 15 and its not working anymore I have tried everything downloading drivers and setup new windows even uninstalling intel graphic card ,,, but i still have a yellow exclamination mark on my nvidia graphic card in device manager and if it disappered i cant even log into my nvidia control panel or graphic option like the intel one like it dosent exist what should I do? please help !

HP Stylus Support for HP Pavilion x360 15-bk0
Hello~!
I recently purchased an HP Active Pen (J4R51AA#ABL) to use with my touchscreen HP Pavilion x360 15-bk0. The manual says that my laptop is supposed to automatically pick up the pen. However, thus far, the laptop has not been registering the pen.
Note: I also already double-checked the list of compatable products, and my laptop is listed as a product which is supposed to work with this specific pen. (Product Compatablity List: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05166879)
I'd greatly appreciate any assistance that can be provided in helping me get the pen working with my laptop!

Touchpad won't work on HP Stream 11
My touchpad isn't working on my laptop at all.
I have tried all the trouble shooting I could find, I have fully restored to factory settings and still no luck. When I go in to the mouse settings (I have a usb mouse in so I can use it) and next to the hardware tab is nothing, in all the troubleshooting guides it has that there should be a touchpad tab there.
I have also tried downloading the software again but it is already on my computer. Just can't work out how to get it working again.. any help would be extreamly appreciated! so sick of having to use a mouse all the time!
I had windows 10 on but with the reset left it as windows 7.
