The touchpad on my laptop has randomly stopped working. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I turned my laptop on when I got home from work. Once I did this, I tried to use my touchpad so that I could insert my password and nothing happened. I had to touch the screen in order to use the laptop. In order to do anything on it now, I have to touch the screen to click websites and things like that. My keyboard is working fine, it is just my touchpad that has stopped working.

HP 830 G5 display cable
Hi, I found out that the voideo cable of my laptop is broken. I tested the lcd and it works great. The problem is that the HP Maintenance and Service Guide state that it is part of cable kit L13678-001 but few lines below it state that this cable is not in the kit(the kit is about 5 cables, all non video related). So I am unable to find this part, even using the info printed on the cable (on the cable's label is reported PS1713 NON TOUCH LVDS CABLE FHD 30P 6017B0892401).
Can someone help me to find where I can buy it.

My pen makes uneven, jittery lines
My brand new HP spectre pen has had periods where it writes uneven, jittery lines ever since I got it. These periods seem to occur randomly; it has even occured right after I have recharged the pen. The only application I use it for is Clip Studio Paint.

bright green moving pixels everywhere
I've had this laptop since 2014 and it has always been great. Recently though, these bright green pixels appeared. They seem to follow a pattern from what I can tell- like certain colors were replaced by this bright green. I attached two pictures that shows what it looks like (the green pixels move with every single picture). It started right after I flew couple states over (but it was in a carry-on backpack, I'm pretty sure it wasn't dropped), I'm not sure if that has something to do with it but it's a hell of a coincidence. I've tried everything I can think of (which admittedly isn't much) but it continues to plague me. Pls help?
(edit: I tried to update the graphics card driver, nothing changed. Device status (Intel HD Graphics Family) is "this device is working properly". Not sure what else it could be)

Black horizontal lines and splotches on screen
I've had this laptop since 2013 or 14, I don't quite remember. Within the last 6 months, the black dots and horizontal black lines have shown up, and it seems that every few weeks, a new one is popping up. It's not completely black, because you can see some color behind it and through it.
I've hooked an HDMI cable up to it to another monitor, and the black spots are not showing up on the other monitor. I've also open the BIOS screen but the spots appear there. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the pixels, or the screen, and what needs to be done to fix it. They don't really affect much, but it is really annoying when I'm trying to do my work and I can't see through the spots sometimes. They seem to be spreading, or smaller ones will pop up after a few weeks. It is never been dropped and there aren't any scratches on the screen either.

I got this product a few days ago, and want to get a stylus,
Device Specifications in Windows 10 states: Pen and touch support with 10 touch Points
The Device specifications state it is window ink compatible here:

It is not listed on the HP stylus compatibility list here:

However HP ENVY x360 15-cn0xxx is listed and the service manual here:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06140010 on page 1 product description shows that 15-cn0xxx and 15-cn1xxx are the same model family with same internals, just seems one is sold in Eastern Europe the other in the EU.
Should I expect compatibility with external HP devices? Any one from Eastern Europe Offices able to confirm?

My HP PAVILION 15 NOTEBOOK PC keyboard does not write backslash in Python but does in Ms word and others. And the numerical numbers on the right hand side of the keyboard is not working except the addition sign (+). Please I appreciate any suggestion on how to solve the problem

Can't play a single game without framedrops with my and radeon 520 in hp 15-bs576tx
can't play a single game on my laptop containing i5 7200U @2.70GHz having intel hd 620 graphics and amd radeon 520 .
Whenever i tried to play any kind of game like NFS black edition(2gb) and NFS payback(above 30gb), So much fps drops occured and causing so much lag and even can't play more than one minute smoothly.
I've installed msi afterburner and monitored cpu and gpu usage during gameplay.
things i've noticed;-
1. increasing of cpu usage (about 90-100%) caused decreased in gpu usage and also decreasing fps to 1-5 fps.
2. also trying to play same games upon intel hd 620 . that games ran huge smoothly than amd radeon 520. during this gameplay i've noticed that there are no fps drop and also no high cpu usage.
things i've tried tofix this;;--
1. clean uninstall of amd radeon 520 using DDU and reinstalling same driver and software from amd official website .
2. also installing same from hp support.
3. clean installing windows 10 pro.
guys please help me out .. please

HP Pavilion 15 - screen brightness not working with new Win10, tried everything in previous posts
Wiped away the HP OEM Windows 10 operating system due to bloatware and reinstalled my own Windows 10 Home 64-bit. However, all function keys work except F2 & F3 which are supposed to control screen brightness. Pressing them will show the slider go up and down, but no change in the corresponding screen brightness, nothing visible happens to the screen. This is just very bad from HP.
I've tried everything, absolutely everything, so please don't regurgitate the same recommendation or links - I've removed Devices, Updated Devices, Disabled Devices, Installed NVidia MX130 drivers, and a dozen other things, but it just seems that windows 10 will not do anything with the screen brightness. I've even tried changing brightness in power settings, Nvidia toolbar icon and various other places, where they are "supposed to work", regardless of the hotkey, however they have no effect on screen brightness. This laptop screen brightness can NOT be changed by any means. There is something seriously wrong with HP and Windows 10 combination.
Now the funny bit, I booted off Ubuntu and Mint, they worked perfectly, screen brightness adjusted via F2 & F3 and via setup screens. So this is an embarrassing situation where Linux Kernels handle a HP "Windows 10" notebook better than the Windows 10 operating system handles this laptop.
I've tried to download the HP OEM drivers that came installed with the Notebook, but none exists, there are absolutely no software installed for this laptop on the HP support website. Why not?
This is driving me crazy and I'm about to throw this new notebook out the window or just put up a youtube video showing people how crap this system is. Please note the same problem has been raised on this site for around 5 years now, with various HP notebooks - mine is a 2019 model!
HP community, please tell me where to download drivers for this thing.

Intermittant issues with touch screen
I checked the device manager and there on scanning for a hardware change I found that the 12C HID driver was giving an error code 10. I don't know how to fix this, is this a driver issue or are there chances for a hardware problem?
I at times find this driver working properly when I check in it the device manager when I switch on for successive uses.
Please help me fix this

HP Envy x360 Laptop Screen Blank
Computer portion of Laptop boots up. The screen does not respond. The Windows Touch Button will light up. I'm connected to an external monitor right now. I tried all the function buttons, power down reset including removing internal battery, updated BIOS, updated graphics card driver. I didn't pull the RAM because I couldn't find it.

Increase Dedicated Video Memory
I have a HP Elitebook Folio 9470M laptop with dedicated Intel HD 4000 Graphic Card. I mostly love to game but due to the 32MB dedicated video memory, Iam unable to play games like Rainbow Six Seidge etc. I have a total of 1792MB video RAM allocated but only 32MB is dedicated. So how can I increase the video RAM. On average, a good game nowadays consumes 800-900 MB of video RAM. So If I am able to boost it up to 1GB, it would be great. I have 12GB DDR3 RAM in my laptop!
