Do the Thunderbolt 3 dock G2 or USB-C dock G4 support HDCP 2.2 over their DisplayPort outputs?

I just bought the HP 27ec monitor to hook up to my HP ProBook laptop. I have downloaded the driver and I am unable to get the monitor to recognize my computer. I tried going into the OCD to the Input Control menu to select the port, and the Save & Return option is grayed out, so i'm unable to save my choice. I've tried a factory reset on the monitor, and that still doesn't help me. When I first turn on the monitor it shows the monitor status box and it says HDMI1: Inactive, HDMI2: Inactive, VGA: Inactive, Auto-Switch Input: On. I know the computer is capable of displaying on a monitor, as it works just fine every day in the office. Any thoughts on what is happening here?
The touchscreen facility has stopped working in either position. This happened whilst working - have I touched a combination of keys? Without the touchscreen the 'pad' position is completely useless. Any and all help welcomed.
Can I turn off touch-pad when connected to a Trackball?
Since OLED panels are vulnerable to burn-in, will burn-in coverage be included with a care pack which includes accidental damage protection for the duration of the care pack?
I have a PAvilion laptop and am trying to connect to an HP monitor using a cable. I am completely clueless!! It talks about resolution not being sufficient but doesn't give me the option to change it. Can anyone help??

I have a strange problem with my HP ENVY 4 (1003TX).
When I plugged in the AC charger, the touchpad / mouse does not work properly.
Sometimes it moves and sometimes not eventhough I have moved and touched the touchpad.
When I disconnect the AC charger, the touchpad works perfectly fine.
Can anyone give me advise on this?
thanks in advance
Help with my [edit] AMD A10 4200 APU. When I play something on VLC a black screen occurs or if I pause the video then it'll not start. All drivers are set but this issue is bad. Help Hp
I install this update and it keeps saying it needs updated. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same. not at all tech savvy, wondering if anyone knows how I can fix this? Thanks!
When the Omen first starts up the screen or the text upon the screen needs to be made brighter. How can I do that? It is reminiscent of way back in the "old days" of the settings in DOS for "white on black" which came a lot closer to gray on black.
HI , I have this laptop hp 15q dy0004au and ITs display though HD as advertised by the company is really very bad, pixelated all around and the image quality is not more than 360p .
Can any of you tell me is there any way or software to improve the quality? I have already installed graphics driver from hp support yet hardly tell any difference!
Hello everyone. So, I have a folio 9470M and since last couple of months I'm experiencing a weird screen bleeding/light leak issue from the corners. The light leak looks something like this:
Light leak when the laptop is Off
Now, lets talk about this problem in detail.
The nature of the problem:
Now, I don't have any problem with it because it doesn't cause any issue beside eating some battery percentage. But I wanna know what is causing that and what is the actual problem. And also how can this be solved. Thanks in advance.
After an update the computer now only shows a black screen. I tried all of the suggestions from HP and have had no change. Help! This laptop was a gift from my daughter and I really love d it. Being disabled I cannot afford to buy a new one.
OK - my cat sat on my keyboard and pressed random keys. When I open a program the screen is a negative, i.e. the font is white on a black background rather than black font on a white background. All other functionality seems to work fine. How can I change this back?
Hello.
My notebook's current display panel is 17 inch HD+Brightview. Is it possible to upgrade it to Full HD display?
If it is, is the Full HD panel limited to an HP-manufactured panel only? Or to some specific types?
Thank you for your kind advice.
I"m not sure if this is the correct board to post this question on but I couldn't find one regarding keyboard and touchpad. Anyways I would like to disable my touchapd on my HP laptop or any laptop with Windows 10 for that matter. It seems that Windows 10 has hidden or maybe even removed the feature under touchpad settings where you could turn off touchpad or disable it while mouse is connected. At least that's how I disabled the touchpad on Windows 7 and 8. Does anyone know how to disable the touchpad? Would appreciate the help becasue it gets pretty annoying when your thumb accidentally bumps the touchpad while typing and it moves the cursor and either deletes text or it starts typing over what you already just typed 😞 Would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions on how to resolve this annoying touchpad issue. Thanks!
Hi everyone, I have a zBook 17 G2.
I bought on amazon a mini displayport to hdmi adapter, but when I plug it into my screen, it displays "no signal". No sound is made when I plug it into the laptop. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
I've tried restarting both the laptop and the tv with it already plugged in. I've tried lowering the resolution. Connecting and disconnecting the cord. I've tried changing the Project Options from "Duplicate" to "Extend" but still nothing.
i have downloaded the HP Support Assistant to update every driver and BIOS but still nothing changed.
The computer is totally up to date. Do I need to download some third-party driver? Really frustrating because I need this for work and because i thought it was the adapter, this is the second one that i bought.
my pc serial number is: [serial number removed]
OK, I realize this is a really old netbook, but it's just the right size and I like taking it places that I don't have to be afraid it will be stolen. And besides, it still works. I hate throwing something away if it still works.
Anyway... Windows XP being long part of history by this point, I have been putting a sequence of light Linux distros on this netbook. With a few tweaks for the wifi driver (need to make sure that driver is written in stone somewhere), I have always managed to keep it operating, but the one thing that really bothers me is the screen. Using Linux Mint, I can not see the bottom 2 or three rows of the window. It will work when I plug an external monitor into it, but I'd like to see about getting it to work on the native screen.
In the settings, display, it tells me that my screen resolution is 1024 x 576. On the HP website, it says my monitor is 1024 x 600. Would that discrepancy result in me not being able to see the bottom rows? Is there any way for me to tweak the resolution to make it pick up those last two rows? Or, barring that, is there a keystroke command that will inch me down in the screen so I can see the last two rows? Those rows are usually where the "OK" or "Apply" buttons hang out, so they are kind of important.
Thanks for your attention.
