UltraSlim Dock + DisplayPort

First off, why does HP Chat never seem to work??? It seems like the most complicated chat system ever, I just need to talk with someone and I can't even connect

 

Anyways, I have a laptop that is docked in an UltraSlim Docking Station. The docking station is up to date with firmware 2.33. I have 2 monitors connected to the dock, 1 over VGA and the other on DP using a DP to HDMI cable. The 2 monitors are HP 24uh monitors.

 

The monitor with VGA connects without an issue. The DP monitors is connected, as I can see it in the display manager and inside the Intel display manager. I can move my mouse to the monitor and move windows to it, but nothing actually displays on the monitor. The monitor stays black and when I wake it and ask it to look for a signal, it says No Signal. I have replaced the monitor with a brand new one that works, I have replaced the cables, replaced the dock, nothing seems to work.

 

I have updated the Intel Video Drivers and then rebooted, for about 3 min the monitor came up. I undocked the laptop and docked it back in....and nothing. The monitor never came back on.

 

Does anyone have any ideas what is going on with this one monitor connected via DP to the dock?

Keyboard button and touch pad

A few months ago, the '1' button is not working at all. Today, I have encountered another problem on my keyboard. Suddenly whole screen flashes and different tabs i.e., word and reader windows are flushes randomly. The opened window automatically full screened and restore in minimized view. When I open chrome, it happens again. I have shut down my laptop and restart it but the problem is not solved. In the case of chrome, a pop up comes out "press F11 to see fullscreen". I imply pressing the same button when it happens in another opened window.

Problem is not finished there. The touchpad of my laptop suddenly stops working like selecting something or moving the cursor. Then I press the Space button on my keyboard (Laptops) and touchpad keeps working again.

USB C to HDMI Adaptor Doesn't Work Unless Taken Out and Turned Around

My HP USB C to HDMI adaptor isn't working properly on my Windows laptop, Mac or Android phone.

Sometimes, no sound is outputted and sometimes there is no picture. I have tried it with multiple TVs and HDMI cables. Occasionally, the HDMI part becomes very warm to touch.

Usually these problems are resolved by unplugging the dongle and turning it upside down even though it is a reversible USB C connector.

I cannot contact HP Support because the website says the serial number is not recognised.

Disable tablet behavior when computer is rotated

When I turn my HP Spectre 360 on its side, the mouse disappears and the keyboard stops functioning. Presumably, this is the default behavior in turning the laptop into a tablet. Is there any way to temporarily disable this behavior? I have already turned off tablet mode. Many thanks.

HP Pavillion x360 touch screen breaking

The left side of my screen is popping out and I have done nothing to my computer to warrant this happening.  Where would I go to fix this?  It's popping out in the left corner by the hinge. I noticed a lot of other people are having this problem as well.  I've only had the computer for 5 months in the comfort of a laptop case or a desk so I'm not sure why this would hapen.  I'm a grad student so I can't afford for my computer to break right now.  Any help is appreciated!!!

HP Elite x2 Notebook with HP USB-C dock not recognizing External HDMI monitor

Trying to run 2nd HDMI monitor (Acer LED R1 Series) in extended mode through the HP USB-C Dock.  Windows 10 Display Settings allows me to identify Monitor 1 and Monitor 2; and I can clearly see the mouse move off the #1 screen (HP Eite x2 notebook) to the #2 screen (Acer LED R1 Series).  I can also slide a window over to the #2 screen and back again; but the external HDMI monitor (the #2 screen) will still not dispay anything.  Whether I power up with the monitor already connected and powered on; or whether I wait to plug in the monitor after rebooting; the external HDMI monitor will not display anything. Please advise.

My touch screen is not working since update to windows 10 from 8.1 - did lot of troubleshooting from hp and other sources but no luck. If anyone can help - very thankfull

Windows 10 Freezes, Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

The laptop continually freezes for about 3 seconds and then appears to recover.  The Windows system logs indicate the error "Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered."  I've tried uninstalling the video driver, but this doesn't resolve the issue.

LAP HP Problema del vídeo

Hola buenas tardes, tengo una lap MODELO  Notebook HP 240 G5 (ENERGY STAR) .

Tiene problemas tanto de vídeo como de velocidad en su funcionamiento.

Existen días en que la enciendo y me arroja pantallas azules o cuando enciende hace fallas como cuando el display esta fallando  que arroja colores en la pantalla, ya se reviso físicamente que no tenga en su interior algún cable suelto, ya se reinstalo el S.O. Pero aun al encenderla arroja pantallas azules y cuando logra arrancar el S.O. es muy lento.

Ojala me puedan ayudar a resolver el problema de mi Lap.

LAP HP Video problem

Hello good afternoon, I have a notebook MODEL HP 240 G5 (ENERGY STAR).

It has problems both video and speed in its operation.

There are days when I turn it on and it throws blue screens at me or when it turns on it faults like when the display is failing that throws colors on the screen, it is physically checked that there is no loose cable inside it, the S.O. But even when it is turned on it throws blue screens and when it manages to start the S.O. it is very slow.

I hope you can help me solve the problem of my Lap.

I am facing issue with the screen resolution of my new laptop hp pavilion 15-cs0053cl.

 

The maximum resolution which I can select is 1366 X 768 where as in the Product Specification it is mentioned as 1920 X 1080.

 

Kindly help to fix this issue asap.

Bulging touchpad

My touchpad is bulging out making it really hard to press down. I have to use a lot of force just to get one click. Is there any way I can fix this somehow?

Laptop Product No. 2ZC03EA#ABU

I am told that the touchscreen is not compatible with any HP pens. None, As I can finger write, I assume that a capacitive pen should work. Is there any way of discovering if the laptop touchscreen can be used with active pens ?
