When I click on to a internet explorer website, image is so small I can't read it.
Message on opening page of web or computer says, "We're going to update Windows 10 soon. Make sure you're switches are set right to on or off. They send up a screen, with some set to on some to off. I click OK, and next time I cut on laptop and go to any website, the site is so small I can't read the type. How do I reset image size back to regular? Was this a scam?

dust under touch screen
After cleaning the screen yesterday, I noticed a very small spec between the lcd and the touchscreen layer. I tried looking for a way to clean it, but I had no luck looking on line specifically for that. Is there a way to clean it without making a big project out of it? Your

hp pavilion dv7-6153er graphics cards
Hello. I am the owner of the HP Pavilion dv7-6153er laptop, there have always been problems with the drivers on the video card. Above the version of Catalyst_12.10_WHQL_UnifL not put, or they are either basic from April 15, 2011. When installing newer video drivers, the card does not work. I tried everything, up to version 16.2.1. Help please solve the problem, since many games do not start with such drivers. Thank you.

Purchasing an all in one
I saw this advertised on HSN and was wanting to purchase this for my teenage grandkids for nx school year. I am on SS so need the easy pay options. I noted it has a dual core processor. I own an Envy all in one and it has the 8.1 os. It is priced where I can afford it but wondered if it was an older slower processor?

Graphics performance issues after downgrading windows from 10 to 8. HP Pavilion 15 au113ur
Purchased HP Pavilion 15 au113ur with windows 10 pre-installed.
Downgraded windows to 8 64bit for job needs.
Installed some drivers somehow (I'm not expert).
Device manager "sees" the Nvidia geforce 940mx,says that device works properly, but in fact I cannot see it in dxdiag,also games are lagging showing 3-10 fps.
Tried to install nvidia drivers manually, but it always says to install intel driver first.
Tried to install intel hd graphics 620 drivers for Windows 8 manually ,but it says that minimum system requirements are not met.
Dxdiag shows only standard Microsoft videocontroller or sth like that with 256MB memmory.
Windows performance indicator shows 4 points on gaming and less on video performance.
Can anyone help me with getting those 2 videocontrollers work as they should?

I have a 6 month old laptop that has not worked properly for month, only charges when it's off only.
I purchased my brand new laptop about 6 months ago and shortly after it doesn't charge while on, only while off which is a huge pain. I use this for my business so I couldn't afford to send it back to HP. Ihave been basically been charging only while off. I'm pretty upset since it's a new laptop. How can I reolvse this issue?!

Pavilion dv6-6690US Touchpad driver update from Synaptics
Has anyone updated their dv6 laptop to the current PS/2 Port Touchpad driver (v17.0.17C) from Synaptics site? The last driver offered on HP's site for Windows 7(64) is 15.3.11, which I am using. I do not know enough about HP's practices about modifying stock drivers for its notebooksto know whether this is a safe update.

my system and mouse pointer would work fine if i just power on my system and everyting will be working fine, but once i make an attempt to use touchpad, my pouse pointer will just disapear on the screen.

HP Spectre x360 touchscreen problems
Hi guys,
Since I bought this laptop in Septmber last year I have always had problems with the touchscreen.
I originally posted on here to see if anyone else had the same issues and I ended up uninstalling the driver and installing a different version, which didnt cure the problem. In the bottom left of my screen is as though someone is overiding me and holding the cursor in the same position which means I am unable to do anything at all.
After contacting HP and being told my warranty was out of date I installed another driver, which seemed to work for the last few months, but now I have the same issue again. The issue seems to stop for a while when I closed the laptop shut and re opened it again but I can't keep on like this anymore. Laptop is not even a year old and I feel like throwing it across the room!
Has anyone else had any experience like this and is there a solution?!

Envy Notebook 17 inch FUNCTION KEYS STOPPED WORKING
As of a couple months ago (around March 2017) my ENVY laptop (bought in December 2016) FUNCTION keys (volume, kepboard backlighting, dimming) stopped working completely. They do not work on their own, nor do they work while holding the FN key. I have read a million posts and nothing is working. Everything is up to date. Most of the posts are referring to solutions for previous Windows versions. I cannot believe how maddening it is for these not to work...especially the VOLUME buttons. HELP PLEASE!

Spectre x360 13-inch touch delay after using any n-trig stylus
The 13'' spectre x360 is in need of a digitizer firmware update like that which the 15'' community received (see this thread). I have troubleshooted ad nauseum on my own and with HP tech support and it is clear this is the one and only solution.
HP support, please provide the same firmware solution that was provided for the 15'' spectre.
And please, don't suggest a list of possible solutions that include changing the battery, refreshing windows, or anything else. The problem is firmware and needs to be corrected on HP's end.

Taskbar hides behind browser
Suddenly my locked taskbar is covered up by my browser (Google Chrome). This has never happened before and it is very annoying to have to minimize the browser to get access to my other programs. There is no option to keep the taskbar always on top. Can anyone help?

HP usb-c docking station
I bought a HP usb-c docking station for use with my HP Envy laptop, dual monitors, printer, and various other devices. The docking station's plug is usb-c and comes with a usb adaptor. The docking station will only work when plugged into the computer via its usb adaptor (usb-c to usb). It will not work when plugged directly into the computer via the usb-c port. Page 7 of the manual says the docking station can be connected to the computer either way. What is the use of having a usb-c plug if it doesn't work without a usb adaptor? One of my usb ports on the laptop is now taken by the docking station usb adaptor, one less port for me to use for another usb device. All software and firmware has been installed, updated and configured properly. Any ideas? thank you.

HP Sure View Integrated Privacy Screen
Good day,
I have here two laptops, HP Elitebook 840 G3 & HP Elitebook 840 HP Sure View Integrated Privacy Screen for both unit by pressing Fn+F2 but nothing happened. All other functions keys are working except for that.
Note: All drivers are installed and updated.
Are all models of HP Elitebook 840 have HP Sure View Integrated Privacy Screen features?
