There is no certain timing for this, sometimes it takes 15 minutes and hour other times.
Probook 450 screen goes blank and sometimes flickers. laptop works fine with external monitor.

when i press the on/off button the screen respond but no display.
when i press the On/Of button there is no display, the screen responds but no display, i changed the ram processor bu to no success, the caps lock & scroll keys blinks for about 10 times and then stop, the laptop continue to rum with the fan on full throttle. help me solve this problem!!.

Laptop Screen turns off while PC is still running.
Hello, often when I am gaming, such as Roblox, Onverse, Warframe, etc my screen would casually turn off but the pc would still run. Sound would continue for a few seconds afterwards then stop. Often instead of force rebooting I close the lid and wait for it to go on standby untill I open up and resume. Recently it's getting to where I don't have to be on the games, I'm on simple clients and it will turn off casually. This started immediatly after I downloaded a game called APB Reloaded, which have fairly great graphics. I uninstalled APB and all games I do not use and the problem persists. Once the screen turns off the PC itself isn't very hot. I am not sure if it's due to the coils needing replaced, thermal paste needing replaced, or just an overheating of the Graphics itself. I cannot rule out that it is the PC itself overheating due to the fact i've had past PC's that automatically turn off when overheated. I could use any suggestions for this, please and thank you.

Pavilion 15-AB291SA freezes regularly. suspect video driver issue but cannot update driver
The laptop will freeze and require restarting on a regular basis. Windows 10 error messages suggest a video driver issue. There is a more recent Intel HD graphics driver available, however I am unable to install due to a restriction by HP.
I've tried using windows 7, but there are no windows 7 drivers. I've then performed a clean install of windows 10, which initially seemed to help the problem, however it was'nt long before the freezes began again.
its not a temperature issue. I just want to update to the latest graphics driver. can anyone advise?

Stylus pointer in wrong place while hovering, then jumps into place when you touch the screen
While drawing with the HP pen: If I'm hovering, the pointer (tiny circle) lags behind, no matter how slowly you go... so it's always in the wrong place.
Then, when you touch the screen, it jumps into place. REALLY difficult to draw like this. Are there any settings/updates/workarounds that can fix this?
It almost seems intentional, not a lack of capability

Fixed graphics mode not available for HP Pavilion laptop with nVidia GPU
I recently bought an HP Pavilion laptop, model 15-bc202nq (which is almost identical to 15-bc202na except it comes with 8GB of RAM).
I also just found out about the switchable graphics feature, which applies to this laptop. It has both an integrated Intel GPU and a discrete nVidia GeForce 1050 GPU. I'd like to be able to set the nVidia GPU to always be the active one, in the so-called fixed graphics mode. However, the BIOS menu does not contain this setting. Is this normal? I have the latest BIOS version by the way (F.36). I also have the latest Windows 10 Creators Update and the latest nVidia drivers.
I also know I can selectively choose in the nVidia Control Panel which applications should use which GPU, but I want the entire Windows graphics subsystem to use that GPU, and this is not possible to select in the Control Panel. Also, the entries for applications such as media players can't seem to allow anything other than the integrated GPU.
One of the reasons I want the discrete GPU to be always active is a performance glitch I notice frequently: when the UAC prompt is triggered, the laptop seems to freeze for about a second - there is no input from the mouse, and I tried it with both Bluetooth and wired mice. Since the integrated GPU is responsible for rendering Windows, I suspect there are situations when it bottlenecks and maybe this would be solved by switching to the more powerful nVidia GPU.

Shattered Laptop Touchscreen
Hey.
The touchscreen display of my laptop is no longer working as a friend of mine stepped on my laptop and the screen is shattered. Everything else works fine, except the touchscreen. I am looking to see how much a screen replacement from HP would cost. I do not want to purchase a screen and replace it myself, I want the whole process done by HP officially. My warranty is expired. Try as I might, I am unable to find out the cost anywhere on HPs website or by calling customer support. I simply want to know a number so I can figure out how much has to be paid. If anyone can help me with this, or redirect me to a correct number to call, it would be greatly appreciated.

App Screens Don't Display
When pulling up my Spotify and Sonos apps all I get is the top banner with the app name and logo. Sonos shows a white bos under it. With Spotify I see only the banner. They worked fine up until a month or two ago. No problems with other apps noted.

sometimes types backwards
I sent my laptop to be fixed because the hinge had broken. when I got it back it was doing some weird stuff (either it double clicked all of the time, or I never could double click I forget) so I reinstalled the mouse driver with the help of tech support which fixed that.
Now it sometimes types backwards. it isnt all of the time, so it isnt some sort of setting that I opted into. The cursor has typing go to the left of it. It also (but not as often) will move the cursor so i end up typing in the middle of text that i already typed.
Since I am not a touch typer I am somewhat slow and dont notice this initially because I am looking at the keyboard while I type, so retyping stuff has made me even slower. thanks

my webcam does not work
After profesionally having a virus removed from my pc, anti-virus programmes were installed. My webcam no longer works and seems to be blocked out by these programmes.

White dots all across display screen
I purchased an HP Notebook last week, got it home and the next day there were several small white dots across the screen. I took it back to the store and they exchanged it with another unit. It worked for a few days and now the white dots are own the new computer screen. Is this a graphic issue? How do I fix it?
