Windows cannot detect my graphics card

$

Hello dear community,

I've just formatted my notebook again and installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The problem is that system is unable to detect my graphics card - Radeon HD 7600M, which was working fine before. Device manager is showing it as a standard VGA graphics card. My notebook is also using Intel HD graphics 4000 and it's working fine after manually instaling required drivers. When I am trying to install drivers for Radeon, two things are happening:

- setup manager returns error message that installation process failed(I've even tried to edit "InstallManager.cfg" file and change "WorkaroundInstall=false" to true, setup manager installed everything(AMD catalyst, etc.), just not the driver

- as soon as setup manager is trying to detect my graphics card, blue screen appears and notebook is rebooting

It is pretty random which one of the above things will happen. I've tried installing few different drivers and nothing changed. I've also tried(in the device manager) to manually choose the location with the driver - Windows tells me that system knows it's the Radeon HD 7600M device, but cannot install the drivers.

During the format, I deleted ALL partitions and created new ones. I remember that there was a small partition(which I left untouched during the earlier notebook format), but this time I deleted it too. Maybe this partition had some important HP data which is causing this problem now?

I am also attaching a screenshot of my device manager:

device manager.jpg

On the screen you can see that I have two unknown devices(second one is the PCI unknown device) and my graphics - while Intel is fine, Radeon is detected as a standard VGA. I've tried many things how to install the drivers for it but I've run out of ideas. Looking for reply and hopefully - a solution Smiley Happy

EXTERNAL VGA ADAPTER not working. When I plug the external monitor to Laptop directly using VGA Port, don't get any output to external monitor.

Docking station works fine though. HDMI port is working fine.

Tried FN+F4

Upgraded the drivers, BIOS, Firmware, etc.

None of the above resolves the issue.

Laptop struggles with video play frequently. Constantly having to restart.

My laptop is relatively new, it's been less than a year since I bought it new from the store. Initially it worked fine, but after a month or so I started having problems with the video streaming. It wouldn't play videos at all for an entire month. It didn't matter what I tried. Now it plays videos, sometimes. I can be watching a video fine, but if I pause for too long the video will not resume playing. If I restart the computer it plays fine again. Sometimes the videos will play but there will be no audio. Once again, restarting the computer helps. Othertimes the video wont play at all until I restart the computer. It has gotten to the point where I'm restarting my computer mulitple times while I do my online classes. It's starting to drive me insane. Please help!

I have an older laptop but when I am online the screen will just go black & I have to tap the mouse pad like crazy to get it back on. I have checked all my settings as to how long the display stays on, set a screensaver & I don't know what else to do unless it's a hardware problem but the display still looks good. Can anyone offer any help please?

Wireless monitor no longer connecting after system update

OK, bought this laptop from Costco 5 weeks ago. It was bought to keep in the living room to stream movies to the TV. For the 1st couple of weeks it connected fine to my LG 4K 55" TV . The Laptop updated and it will no longer connect. My TV is listed under the "Action center" in the "connect" menu. I click on my listed tv and it used to connect. Now it attempts to connect but quits attempting after about 10 seconds.

I'm thinking its a driver issue but im not 100% sure.  I rebuilt the system off the restore DVD's I made the day I bought it.

It will work fine until the 1st time it updates then it quits. Windows 10 home does not allow you to disable updates.

What device in the device manager is actually the ones that connecting to the TV? Its almost like its a combo of the wireless card and the graphis adapter.

Please help.....

I have had my notebook for almost 4 years now, but today the "action keys" (like adjusting brightness, volume, keyboard backlight etc at the top of the keyboard) have stopped working. Nothing happens when I press them. I tried checking the BIOS screen to make sure action keys were enabled and they are, so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

F5 keys constantly engaged

Hi I have a similar problem but with f5 key. It is not stuck but on the test a you showed in the article it fails and is mark as a pressed without anyone touching a keyboard. 3 rounds of removing and cleaning did not change anything.

Do I need to replace whole keyboard? How do I remove it for this model of Pavilon?

Pavilion 15-p075sa

Exept that battery is not detected by a diagnostic program and is not charged by a system as a result. Connection was cleaned and do not have any visible signs of damage.

This is a custom with OLED and Intel Iris Graphics chip.
I had multiple issues with this PC, PC gets too hot, HP Active Stylus (J4R51AA) did not work and so on..
My warrenty will expire in June, 2017 so I sent this unit back to HP support. They sent me back with a receipt showing
===
The following Items Were Repaired / Replaced:
System Board
Display
Hard Drive (Re-Imaged)
Heatsink Fan

After I re-installed my personal files and software, I ran HP Support Assistant and Balarc. The result shows this PC now got Intel HD Graphics 520 (not Iris) and Generic PnP Monitor (13.0" vis, December 2015) (not OLED).

I did online chat with HP agent today and addressed these issues. The agent was keep saying "Your unit is working fine", yeah my unit is working fine but what about the my original Iris chip and OLED display? I have not checked whether stylus is working now since I have returned it, but even if it works, if the display is different, it is not fixed.
I have following issues and doubts right now,
====
1. Maby there is no such a thing called Intel Iris 520 Graphics. Then why did HP advertised it as an option? I specifically picked this PC with Iris 520 chip. There was another option for Intenl HD 520 at lower price. If Iris 520 does exist then why did HP replaced it with standard 520 graphics chip?
2. Maybe OLED display does not work with HP Stylus Pen?.... only Generic Display will work? If so why did HP advertise it? I have a copy of HP rep saying "HP Stylus is compatible with your PC".
3. Why did HP replaced OLED to Genetic Display?  If the Balarc report is not accurate, how can I check the spec of my display? HP replaced it because OLED display generates more heat and also not compatible with HP stylus? This is also why they replaced my graphics chip to standard Intel 520 chip?

HP is definitly hiding something here.... Does anyone have similar issue as mine? I am very upset with this situation.
