When i got this computer the keyboard would light up everytime i would touch it. From the other day my keyboard wont light up anymore and i just dont know why.
Right from the initial boot-up, my brand new Spectre 360 15 (2017) has had problems with the touchscreen. The screen is detecting 'ghost touches" when I am nowhere near it. I have followed the suggestions from the online assistant, and tried to calibrate, but that has not solved the problem. In fact, I was lucky to be able to get that far, since the false input detected by the machine is causing it to open and close things without my asking.
I just dropped $2,000 on this, and love the concept. Not impressed with my experience, and very nervous about what this means going forward. Is this model fundamentally flawed? Did I get a lemon? And why can't I call someone to ask for help?

When any message or call has received in my mobile phone, then Intermittent blinking or flashlight of screen (display) has happen in my laptop. I recently purchased my laptop. I don't know how to resolve this issue. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?
I did the windows 10 update on my HP computer and now my HP mouse (x4000b) doesn't work. I have to remove device then pair it again to fix (almost every time I step away from my computer). Any ideas on how to fix this?
I bought this laptop back in 2012 for school, worked fine for about a year and then the backlight stopped working. If you shine a light into the screen you can still see the screen. I read some other forums regarding backlights but nothing specific for this model. I'm looking to fix it myself so any info leading to that would be helpfull!

I bought the HP OMEN laptop about a month ago and I've come across and issue that has been present since I first started up this laptop.
The issue I've been having has to do with the icons on my desktop. In the picture shown above there are several icons on the right of the screen. they are near the edge, but not as close as they are supposed to be. I cannot place these icons any close to the edge than they are now.
Same goes for the bottom part of the screen. The icons closests to the bottom are as far as i can place them.
Currently my screen resolution is set to 125%(recommented). tuning this back to 100% somewhat fixes to problem with the icons but everything is VERY small.
I have my desktop icons set to work from a raster. I can turn it to be able to be moved everywhere which also fixes the problem. but the fact that it wont work like this is bothering me alot.
Furthermore, in some programs the text seems a bit blurry even though my general text settings are all good.
Is there any way to fix this?
I've tried returning to the store I bought it from, but they have been little to no help. Asking on this forum is a last try before demanding a return.

I have a new HP Envy laptop. Recently, I have couple of issues. The Capslock button is always lit and letter C on Keyboard does not work. Unfortunately, my user account password has a letter 'C' in it. I do not know how to bypass this.

Display adapters are Intel HD Graphics Family and Radeon HD 8670M.
Drivers are up to date according to scans by the Radeon and HP utility
Running windows 10 home 64 bit single language with GB RAM. Windows 10 was an upgrade from windows 8.1 that was shipped on the laptop
Every second or thrid day the laptop just stops. Screen goes black. There is no BSOD. I have to restart. The problem began in September 2016
I use BlueScreenView to read C:\WINDOWS\Minidump file.
Information says the crash is casued by driver dxgkrnl.sys

I cannot seem to find a fix for this.
I have removed the RAM and reseated it, bot this didnt help

Every time Windows does those mandatory updates, I cant use my computer anymore. Usually I can find a solution, but not having luck this time. So...at first, I would see the hp logo and then it would go blank. Now when I start up, it's just blank. I tried F2 diagnostics and no problems. Can't boot from my recovery disk. Don't really know what I'm talking about here. Just tried things I read. I have no idea where to take it for repair except BB and I'd rather not. I'm assuming it's an easy fix and I'm cheap. I would welcome suggestions on this specific issue and/or how to stop these problems in the future. It is continually frustrating. Do I just have to turn off all updates? Wouldn't that cause other problems?
On some emails that I receive I get a white cross on a black background where a photo should appear. Can anyone advise me of how to fix this?

I have issues with Intel Video Driver provided by HP. Sometimes after sleep artifacts appear on the screen and only reboot helps to remove them. Also Oracle Virtual Box crashing guest OS (WIN10)
I tried to use latest driver from Intel, but during installation driver give error that I have to use driver from vendor.
Currently installed driver:
10.18.14.4432

,i did some Updates in my GPU AMD that i download here, well that time i thought that i update my driver latest, but my system crash and when i turn on my laptop and it keeps start up in blue screen and in that screen said Memory is dumping in my disk so i did reformat my system, but same thing happen and when i try replace it, and setup it again, the same thing happen, then i try start up in safe mode disable the radeon, then it backs to normal, so i need a switchable software...
Can anybody Help Me?
