Screen flickering evrything is doubled, coulors is messed up. I uploaded video above. It started suddenly. Everything shakes that startes HP logo. I tried clean install, couple hours was evrything normal and then flickering, shaking start again. HP diagnostic tool dont say anything. How do i know myself is problem related hardware or software. How do i know if it is hardware problem.

According to teh foums - this is a KNOWN issue and as such I have followed what information / advice I could get on the forums but not working yet.
Power on HP laptop.
Powers up to Log in screen. - As normal - perhaps a little slow.
Put in password -
Accepts password. - as normal - perhaps a litle slow.
Goes to blank screen with cursur (white).

I have had two HP laptops. A pavillion that would over heat so I couldn't put it on my lap and had to be really, really careful about where I put it and be sure that there was nothing around it. In summer I propped it up in the back and had a small desk fan to keep it cool. Eventually it became impossible to move because the fan in the back was so hinky that if moved, it would make a loud noise. Once it was working ok in one place, then it would work. But I couldn't use it on my lap or move at all.
The second was HP 15 that has a screen that is now totally breaking on the left side. I see lots of posts about this but no solutions. SO, another HP that I can't move. The company has been totally unresponsive to everyone who's posts I read. I do think since this is a design flaw, they should have done a recall. I've owned laptops since 1995 and have NEVER had one just fall apart.
I also am now having to get rid of an HP printer that 'thinks' it has a paper jam that it doesn't have. Again, tons of posts abnout this, but no solution. I've spent hours doing what HP suggested, with no success.
I think HP needs to get out of the hardware business. They just aren't good at it. I used to be a total HP fan, as you can tell from what my business owns. No more.
I have a Lenovo small laptop that I think I could throw across the room, and a Brother printer that is now 10 years old and sill works beautifully, an Espon printer that is still working. HP needs to invest in making good products that last or, as I said, get the H--- out of the hardware business.

My husband bought me a HP Notebook laptop new, and I have hardly used it due to the screen glitching. I do not have any other issues with it, but at random times when I have tried to used it random lines go across the screen. We got it Christmas 2015 and have hardly used it since due to the issues. Any thoughts on what could be causing it or how to fix it?'

I have problem with my dual VGA AMD on HP-15 BA026AX.
My laptop specs is AMD A10-9600P with VGA AMD Radeon R5 (Dedicated) and AMD Radeon R7 M340 (Linked).
When I tried for playing games such as Dota 2, FPS results seems so bad. Only 30-35 max whether I setting it on High, Medium even lowest nothing happens for FPS results. And when I use it for Autocad 2016, graphic respons is very slow and lags.
I have setting it Radeon additional setting with High Performance for some programme but still nothing happens. I already reinstall AMD driver more than 3 times with using AMD Cleanup utility for unistall and reinstall AMD driver again update with newest version but still nothing change. And lastly I have newest update for Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, but nothing happens. I go to HP Service center and it seems technicians don't understand about this problems and only said its software problem but they didn't said what software that have problems.
I hope somebody could tell me what should I do because I really dissapointed with the performance of this laptop.

due to current omen 15 displays being abysmal (4k is pentile; 1080p is the worst display ive ever seen - this topic is about the 1080p one), i want to replace it with a better one.
i have just been to a store where i compared the displays of the omen 15/pavillion 15 and other notebooks, and omen 15's 1080p display is not even worth being labeled as ips how bad it is. maximum brightness is maybe enough for night usage in complete darkness, but thats it. color-wise it is even worse than all the reviews said that smashed the omen 15s for their catastrophic displays; less than 50% adobe rgb gamut is enough to know what im talking about. compared the exact same picture with a big red box on the omen 15/pavillion 15 and other notebooks that were on display there, and the red box was neither red nor orange nor brown, but some unsaturated grey with a bit of an orange tint, whereas on other notebooks (NB: omen 17 was one of these; surprisingly it was even one of the best ones with a 1080p display) it was a clear saturated deep red.
now long story short, i have to replace this display immediately.
ive done that lots of times with hp business notebooks earlier when they had tn panels, but during the last years i privately mainly used an envy 17 3d which has an amazing 120hz tn panel that blows even most current ips panels away in terms of brightness and colors.
now remembering my multiple attempts to replace displays on business notebooks (mainly elitebooks), i know that even if a display has the exact same model number, it may not be compatible with the notebook, since the backlight cables (of tn panels) have different lengths, so if i have a display meant for another notebook with a short cable it may not be long enough to reach the jack. and also the position of screws that hold the panel within the lid may differ.
looking at some display replacement videos with ips displays, i assume they dont have backlight cables anymore but fix connectors on the bottom of the panel, and there is a cable going from the motherboard to the display, not the other way around anymore. is this true for all recent (notebook) ips panels? and if so, is the connector always on the exact same position? depending on the length of this cable inside the omen 15/pavillion 15, there may still be issues is there are displays with these connectors being positioned differently, ie. on the other side or too far away for the cable to reach it.
if this is true, then any 15.6'' ips panel will fit into the omen 15, that would be great.
what about the refresh rate, are there any possible incompatibilities if i tried to put a 120hz ips panel into the omen 15?my main aim is to have a better display with at least 300nits brightness and 72-100+% srgb color gamut, but after years with a 120hz display downgrading to a 60hz one would also be good if avoided.
has anyone done that already or can confirm that it is possible, or am i bound to this piece of crap inside the omen 15? a zbook 15/studio ips panel by LG-P would be my first choice, but any quality brand like samsung, AUO (120hz ips, 5ms reponse time) etc. would do it as well, as long as the brightness and color gamut, as well as the response time are satisfying, just not this chinese BOE piece of crap.
as usual, asking hp support about that only tells me that opening the notebook voids my warranty and i should use components listed in the service and maintenance guide (although there it only says 15.6'' FHD panel, ie. they dont even tell the exact model or brand of the display; even worse, until 2017 they even avoided mentioning the 4k panels being pentile, which is almost a fraud since pentile is not true UHD...)

I have fresh installed on my new HP Pavilion - 17-ab240nd Windows Pro. Everything works ok but the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 is not detected. When I download the correct driver from the this site I an unable to install the driver as the installer says on a moment "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue" This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows? Which is wierd as it is recommended by hp. Also the previous version does not work.
Using the default installation it works. But I would like to have a fresh install and also Windows 10 pro which I have a license for.
I tried also directly from the http://www.nvidia.com site but this is also saying the same thing...
In the device manage I also not see the card, only below Other devices - 3D Video Control. When using update this driver software it tries to download the NVIDIA driver but also fail to install.
I don't know anymore what to do?

I'd like to purchase this keyboard, but there's no indication that it works on a Linux operating system, specifically Ubuntu Xenial (16.04) . I can't see any reason why it *wouldn't* work, but wanted to get confirmation before purchasing.
