I was watching a downloaded movie thru a pendrive, all of a sudden, no sound was playing while the movie was still on.
I reopen the file and tried to play the movie again but it showed error. so i retrart my computer and try to play the movie, it only keeps loading and nth happens. i tried to play other videos or musics as i thought the problem could only be the movie or the pendrive. But all of them doesnt play, as well as youtube videos. Would appreciate for any help given. Thanks.

We have bought 4 different brands of USB-C adapters - All with 2 X USBs + HDMI. The USBs on the adapter works fine but not the HDMI when plugged into USB-C port of HP EliteBook 850 G3. None of the adapters are faulty as we have tested it on Dell USB-C port and HDMI works fine.
Any suggestions what could be wrong?
Have a dual monitor setup at work. Recreated that setup at home and the laptop will not recognize the second monitor?
Your touchscreen product sucks.... Stop cheating people... One fne day it just stopped working!!!! and when checked with your chat support, they are saying its hardware issue. If you dont know how to make touchscreen products , dont make them.... Just stop selling your cheap touchscreen product.
I work from home some days so the laptop is not on the dock on my work desk. When I then bring the laptop to work and dock it, the dual (DP connected) displays won't work and Windows doesn't detect them. I have to the reboot for it to detect the monitors again and everything is fine after that (until I use the laptop off the dock again). I've tried updating the dock bios (sp71104 and sp65034) but both disappear up their own behinds when run. A little help please?
The mouse cursor is either restricted to just moving vertically up and down or it randomly moves itself all over the place. NOT a virus or malware causing it, I've checked it thoroughly.
Is it fixable or do I have to get another complete palm rest and touch pad part? Which of course would be used and possibly have the same failure.
Just got done putting it back together from taking the keyboard and display off to tighten all the hinge screws. The right hinge inside the lid was just about to come loose completely. Now it's nearly tight as new.
While I had it apart I disconnected and reconnected the touch pad cable, hoping it might just be a bad connection there. No change.
I have a computer that is less than a year old. Out of the blue, it started having a screening flickering uncontrolably. If I connect it to a monitor, it stops and becomes normal again. If it goes to sleep and is not connected to the monitor it starts with flickering again when I open it. A new screen has been installed, graphics drivers have been re-installed and the last attempt was to re-install windows 10. Nothing works. Can you please assist?
I recently purchased the new 15" Spectre laptop and recently it started giving me issues. At random times my pointer seems to lag and even sometimes freezes. I orignally thought it was just the pointer but it seems that when the pointer freezes my open applications do as well. If I am typing something my input momentarily stops and my pointer stops working and my input won't display until the computer catches back buy but the pointer remains jumpy.

I have a problem with combination of HP LP3065 30" display (2560 x 1600), when connected to my laptop HP EliteBook 245 G3. I am using Dual Link DVI to DisplayPort adapter BlizLink ICES-003. When the display is connected to the laptop directly (using the adapter), the display works perfectly and without any issues. But when I put my laptop into the ultraslim docking station and connect the display to it (using the same adapter), the screen appears for like a second and then blacks out for about 5-10 seconds, then appears for a second again and so on.. I downloaded and installed the docking station firmware, also the ultra slim docking station displayport firmware (to 2.33.000), I updated the graphic driver, BIOS and chipset driver too, but nothing helped. I tried my colleague's docking station (he has the same as I do) and there was the same issue.
Is there anything I could do to fix this issue or do I have to choose between using the display or docking station?

Is it real that HP provides no cam control software for my beautiful wide angle webcam? It's so nice that several people or the entire room can be in the view of the cam, but when talking to clients, I'd prefer to not show everything. Yet I cannot find a way to zoom so that only I'm in view.

I am having a problem which seems to exist with many people, but the solutions I coudl find don't work in my case.
Windows Hello works on boot using the built in IR cam, but every time the PC goes to sleep (or I put it there) it doesn't work at wake and I can hear the "peripheral disconnected sound" in the background. The camera seems to shut itself down at this exact moment. When logged in using password or PIN it starts working again. A reboot fixes it, as long as it doesn't go to sleep.
I tried uninstalling the driver (which is a generic Realtec driver bizarly) but it keeps reinstalling itself.
Using the 3.5.8.12 Rev.A pilot doesn't work as the pilot tells me the device wasn't detected fairly late in the installation process.
The only thing I could think being a cause is the fact, that I formatted my PC at delivery to stock Windows 10 and let windows update do its job with the drivers after using HP Support Assistant.
Please Help me, I don't want to have to send back the thing just because of that...

I am using my Elitebook with HP's docking station and dual HP monitors. On the back of the docking stations there are two Digital video outputs and one VGA output. I would like to connect both monitors to the digital video outputs and set the laptop to use extended destktop. I have only achived this by connectiong one monitor up to the digitial port and the other to the VGA port. Why am I not able to use the two digial ports??
I have a brand new HP-15-f233wm. When typing, it will randomly cut out and reconnect moments later. However, it's not like a normal disconnect.
For example when typing in a field, the field will be de-selected, and will then reselect, as if I clicked out of the box and clicked back in again This happens even if I leave the mouse in the field I am typing in.
I'm using the laptop keyboard not a plugin.

After watching so many YouTube videos for a certain period of time my computer stops running the videos but the audio continues to play. Then the video stops all together and the load circle come on. I updated all the software from Microsoft update, HP update, and driver update. But it continues to stop playing videos. I saw multiple Vulkan software updates on Unistaller and unistalled the older ones but it still continues. Can anyone help me?
