I have a issue where i walk away from the pc and the screen goes off and when i come back and type on the keyboard or touchpad the screen dont come back on . then after awhile it comes back on for two secs or so then goes off then i got to force shut it down in order to permantly fix it for a short period plz help me thank you

Screen won't come on
How can I fix my hp, I have tried a lot of the suggestions except hooking it to an external monitor, the light comes on to indicate the cap locks num lock is on, the 3 indicator lights come on but nothing but a black screen, is it possible for both the ac power cord and the battery are both bad?

NVidia GPU is not detected
Hi
I bought a HP Pavilion 15-ab031Tx few months back. I suddenly noticed that my laptop is using Intel graphics processor instead of NVidia 940M. Also in hardware list I don't see it being listed. Scanning for new hardware does not seem to help either.
Please suggest, is there any other way to fix this apart than visiting service center?

I am also having left hinge issue!!!!! Now the video isn't working properly!!!! Hp needs to be accountable for their defects!!! Checking into a Dell since Hp will not step up to the plate and repair their on going issues.

HP 823952-001 Cracked Monitor Replacement
My monitor on my laptop is cracked and I'm looking to replace it, however I can't find the part available in stock (HP 823952-001) and I need this replaced ASAP.

HP Dock
I have the HP ZBook 200W Thunderbolt 3 Dock for a ZBook 17 G3 and I cannot get the machine to recognize any monitors that I connect to the dock. I have the dock firmware and have updated all drivers with the support assistant. Can someone please help me with this?

X2 keeps restarting when HDMI cable plugged in and won't work again until restarted once more
Hi all,
So I have an issue with the HDMI output to my TV.
For some reason, when I connect the cable from my tablet to the TV, the tablet restarts itself and then won't recognise the HDMI output again until I restart the tablet once more. This will happen once I start watching something. Once it gets into the swing of watching something it's fine, but it seems when we stop watching, even for a couple of minutes, the tablet restarts.
Why is my tablet randomly restarting in the first place?
I have disabled automatic restart and chosen "Never" on all sleep/hibernate options.
The cable itself works fine so I can only assume something is not right with the tablet?
Can anyone help?

Small area of laptop display blinks during web browsing
During web browsing, when I open a new screen, a small area of the screen blinks for a second. I increased the refresh rate from 40 to 60 (max allowed). It just started a week ago or so. My video driver is current.

Despues de reiniciar el equipo volvió a funcionar, pero rato después dejó de responder otra vez. Va a ratos, a días. Funciona, deja de funcionar. NO funciona, hay que reiniciar... no sé que ha podido pasar, ha sido de un día para otro.
ENGLISH I bought my laptop in September 2014 and everything worked correctly. 4-5 days ago, using my laptop like any other day, the touch screen did not respond, (but it worked the night before) everything was perectly but could not use the screen as a touch. After restarting the computer it worked again, but after a while it stopped responding again. It goes to times, to days. It works, it stops working. It does not work, it has to restart ... I do not know what has happened, it has been overnight. PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

white light next to usb port flashing when charger not plugged in

nvidia 1070 not performing on battery?
I have the new Omen 17, with the gforce 1070. When I use any graphical heavy programs or games, when unplugged the performance drops extremely far.
I game on Diablo3 and at max settings plugged in I can get 70-80FPS, but when on battery it drops to below 10. Rendering times also nearly quadrouple in vectorworks when on battery.
I have all known power management settings on max, and even run live boost from system mechanic. Is the 1070 just that much of a power hog that the battery simply cant keep up?
Also, I have the 6700 processor, and I knew that that particular processor seems to have integrated graphics, although my windows 10 pro doesnt seem to recognize if it does or not.

Touch pad quit working. Help!
I have an HP Stream BCM943142HM . All of a sudden my touch pad quit working. Could this be a software issue? I just completed a fresh install of Windows 10 on this notebook.
When I plug a mouse into a USB port the mouse works just fine. But I would like to get the touch pad to work again.

Critical error 0x00000116
We have bought three laptops "HP 250 G5" and installed Windows 10 on them. We also have updated windows 10. And all three laptops sometimes hang up for minute and then restart. In system logs I see "critical error 0x00000116". I knew it means problem with graphics driver. So I check its version: 20.19.15.4509. The same version I see on HP support site, so it is the newest driver. Also I checked version of BIOS: F.14. But on the site I see version F.13, so my BIOS is even newer.
How can I fix the problem? Please help!
