IT DID WORK WHEN I FIRST GOT IT A FEW MONTHS AGO
WENT TO WATCH A VIDEO ON THE TV SCREEN AND NO PICTURE
BUT THE TV/MONITOR DOES SHOW IN THE GRAPHICS SETTINGS
I TRIED 3 DIFFERENT HDMI CABLES ALL W/ THE SAME OUTCOME
ANY HELP WOULD BE WONDERFUL
I FEAR THE ONLY SOLUTION IS A FACTORY RESET
AND I WANT TO AVOID THAT

I have got a pavilion dv6 1207 ax model. The webcam isn't working. It had a same problem previously and that time, my friend installed a software throgh a disc named Cam Life which was working fine unless the webcam suddenly stopped working since last few days. When I opened the CamLife software, the vide would be white. So, obviously Skype also stopped working to show any video display and same was the case with FB. So, I uninstalled the CamLife and visited the official hp website to download the webcam software for the model. I got it namely-Hp MediaSmart Webcam-which successfully got installed but when I opened it, it shows me a message-"No webcam detected........"-I attach an image here.
Kindly help me solve the issue.

A few softwares were updated by windows last week, and since then I am not able to adjust my screen brightness throgh the control panel or hotkeys.
The display is too bright right now.
One of my programs has been crashing recently and, after contacting the support team of the program, it seems like the issue is caused by my Intel graphics driver being out of date. Since HP does not update the driver automatically, support suggested downloading the most recent driver from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25978/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-15-36- . However, the installer wizard throws the notification that this driver is not installed for my machine.
Is it safe to install the driver anyway, through the steps listed at the page mentioned above? If not, is there another procedure to update my driver to the latest version?
I installed fresh copy of windows 7 without hp recovery manager cz some how my hp recovery manager isnot working. Then i installed apps using hp web site for software and driver option but Amd graphics driver for hd 7470m isnt working when i install it my screen goes black. what should i do now
My laptop screen started flickering and its display turned into pink. Images of closed windows and photos stuck on the screen. Please help?
In the spring of this year, I sent my laptop in to HP for repair as the screen was black on startup. I was specifically told not to send the power cord. I reinstalled all my programs when it returned.
The problem persisted and it was recommended to do a system restore. This did not help, so I contacted HP again with the same problem. Only now I know that if you set the screen brightness to minimum on battery, it will remain bright when you plug in the power cord.
A tech at HP gave me the solution. Disable and then Enable the Display Adapter. Wonderful. It works.
THE ONLY PROBLEM IS I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS EVERY SINGLE TIME I POWER UP!
I have to power up on battery only, Go through the process AND THEN plug in the power cord to keep the screen lit.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I have a HP ENVY 15t-j100 Quad Edition CTO Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) with the serial number [Personal Information Removed]. After updating to Windows 10 a while (years? right when it was released) ago, I noticed that my Beats audio stopped working and I have a Nvidia GEFORCE sticker on my laptop so I'm assuming that stopped working as well because the only graphics that it shows that it's using is the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and doesn't even list Nvidia. I know my Beats used to work, but I haven't cared to fix it until now. I'm not entirely positive if I should have Nvidia or not, but I'm assuming so simply because of the sticker that came with the laptop.
I've fixed the Beats audio before but it disappears after a while so I'm looking for a more permanent fix. As for the graphics card, I've tried looking up the computer and tried installing the Nvidia driver for it here but it tells me that it can't install it.

Hi there, I have HP Envy Laptop that generates a Grey Screen while the system is idle for sometime or I restart my Laptop each time. Then it goes off (no always) while I try to tilt the Screen towards me or Press my Palm against the screen. This issue is very inconsistent. I am also uploading a screen shot and a video. I would appreciate if you could help or suggest a solution in this regard. Thanks so much.

I have the HP ENVY Notebook 17t-u000 CTO. I've spent hours online with support to get an answer to this problem and can't get it resolved. The icons are too small to see in some programs and smaller than usual in others like Microsoft Office 2016.
Every time I open a prg. like: Excel, Word, Outlook, and others prg, the page demanded by any of these programs always goes behing and I have to reduce the main picture to be able to see sheet I just open.
I have been looking for a fix for this for a long time with success.
Maybe some one has oor had the same problem and found the remedy.

I have purchased the HP Spectre x360 recently and in general I am very happy with this ultra book.
There is however an annoying problem that randomly occurs. It seems like a ghost is touching the screen and it is not possible for me to continue working, unless I put the machine to sleep.

I have a HP EliteBook, where I use with other 2 external monitors, I mean at the end I am projecting what I do in 3 monitorst at the same time.
My question is: Is there a way to dsiaply the screensaver in all the 3 monitors at the same time?
I have configured with some images but it is just showing up in the Monitor #2.
I would like to know if is possible and how I can do it

Is there horizontal scroll on the Stream touchpad? I have searched throughout the Mouse and Touchpad part of the W10 Settings and cannot find anything that indicayes yeah or nay. I've checked with the Device Manager and it said my Synaptics driver was up to date. The Stream is Laptop 11-y010nr. Serial # [Personal Information Removed]
I put my laptop on sleep mode, when i went to turn it on it never came on. Only thing come on is the power and the cap loc blinks once every 3-4 seconds. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO

The HP exectutive Tablet Pen R1 seems to register, but not enough for it to be functional. Any suggestions?
My touch screen stopped working about 2 months ago after an update and it came back then stopped again. I chechd for testing it in UFEI Bios and it is not listed. How can I get the correct bios and there are no drivers to update, the hid-touch screen driver says it fine. Its been working fine for 2 years. Could the bios been changed?
I downloaded the UFei bios that was on your site but it still didn't show up there. I tried a setup in windows but touch screen isn't working to calibrate.
After an update from Windows 8 to Windows 10, my touch screen stopped working. Clearly this is a very common problem that has afflicted countless Windows users who did the same thing. Does HP have a solution for reinstalling HID- Compliant Touch Screen driver? There's tons of reported fixes on the Internet but the few that looked reasonably safe to me, haven't worked and "HID - Complaint Touch Screen" is no where to be found in Device Manager as it used to be.
On a side note, I have another identical HP notebook that survived the upgrade and works fine.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. TIA
Flash started to appear on my display, in circular and square format, opening various websites and options without me touching anything. I couldn`t watch a movie because jump for diferents parts all the time.
I updated all drivers but nothing resolve.
Reading the internet I found a similar problem, indicating that I should disable the sensors in the device manager. I disable HID - Touchscreen and Sensors.
With the sensors disables the problem stopped but I lost the touch screen.
