hp envy m7 j020dx touchscreen diplay problem
Hi,
I had bought a refurbished laptop hp envy m7 j020dx from US. after 6 months it is having a display issue.
Issue: display is shows white and after some days it started working fine. it repeated oftenly, now i showed to the laptop technician, they said it seems to be the display cable issue.
Now i am india and iam unable to get the display cable. please help me in getting the same.

HP Spectre X360 Touchpad isn't working

Hi, I plan to buy new laptop and ProBook 450 G4 seems to me like reasonable priced laptop. I wanted use docking station that uses Thunderbolt 3 but I don't know if it will work as I plan. For that I need support of DisplayPort over USB-C and USB Power Delivery.

144Mhz support with HP 640 G1 Notebook and Replicator 3005 PR
Hi,
I've a user with a 640 G1 notebook, connected to a 3005 PR replicator, which all appears to be working fine.
However, the user also has a pair of monitors (non-HP) that are designed to run at 144Mhz, unfortunately one of them is limited to 100Mhz - I suspect this is because the replicator doesn't support 144Mhz - but I can't find any documentation to confirm/revoke that supposition.
Any thoughts?

Every time I plug my charger in my screen dims
Each time I plug in my laptop to the power cable when it's turnt on my screen darkens and cannot get the brightness back. I have tried brightening it in settings but it already says 100% when plugged in so do not know what else I can do. Can anyone help me please?

Touchpad not working suddenly GO Elitebook 820
Mouse pad working fine this morning now can't find the cursor at all. Tried turning off and on, double tapping etc, but no joy. It actually won't even turn off. The power button slowly lights blue sporadically off and on. Please help me!

my hp classmate notebook screen dose not come up after powering it on
I did reset my hp notebook classmate running windows 8 after that I entered into the bios setup and activate the secured boot and registered the settings then after that I restarted the system n then the screen went off I tried removing the ram and replacing it but it didn't work. I removed the hdd and replaced it but nothing worked n I did the same for the battery too but nothing worked please help me out

Taskbar and cursor disappear, screen turns black after sleep
So I bought an HP ZBook Studio G3 for my school work a few months ago, since that laptop was recommended by my school. However, since I started using it almost daily (since September), I started getting some issues.
I'll explain what happens in a few steps:
1. I turn my laptop on and I start listening to music on Spotify, and if I don't use the display itself for some time the laptop will turn into Sleep mode.
2. After I turn it on again by moving my finger over the touchscreen, all works fine again.
3. However, if this "going to Sleep mode and back" happens a few times, issues start happening.
4. At this point, I turn my laptop on again and the taskbar has gone completely black and the cursor is gone as well.
5. If I start putting my finger on the touchscreen, my screen turns black as well and will only reappear if I remove my finger from the touchscreen.
If I press the on/off button to turn my computer off and on again, all works fine again, but the problem keeps happening so it's very annoying.
Can someone help me figure out what the problem is and how to fix this?

OMEN by HP 17-w100 Laptop PC hinge
I see that the Omen has this hinge problem, my new OMEN Laptop - 17t gaming 2GB 960 Gfxis supposed to be here next week. Has this problem been fixed or do I have to worry about this on my new Laptop? Very concern about this. But I am looking forward powering up my new OMEN. Thank You for any help.

Upgrade of graphics/video
I am looking for possibilities to upgrade max. supported resolution for external monitor.
Device manager says I have Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000.
In specs I find:
External (monitor):
Up to 32-bit per pixel color depth
DisplayPort supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1600, 30-bit color depth at 60 Hz, and full HD (1920 x 1080) monitors, 24-bit color depth at 120 Hz
I wonder how I can improve "resolutions up to 2560 x 1600, 30-bit color depth at 60 Hz"on windows 10. And should these settings work also with HDMI adapter?
Can I consider replacing graphics/video card?

Video display is a mess
Hi there,
I bought a new HP 245 G5 PC laptop and while playing videos, the screen looks very pixelated. I watched a DVDrip video and it played on my laptop like a 3gp file.
I have installed WIN 7 pro 64 bit on my machine.
Everything else works fine
I am really deparate and furious as I feel like I wasted my money for nothing.
Please...... Can anyone tell me how do I fix this ASAP ???
