ola bom dia tenho um notebook hp pavilion g4- 2140 br que veio com windows 7 home basic instalado,entao decidi passar para o ultimate e levei ele ao tecnico onde o notebook foi formatado, mais desde entao nao encontro mais o programa cyberlink you cam. ja verifiquei e minha webcam e esta instalada e funciona normal quando ligo o skype,ja tentei fazer a instalaçao da cyberlink pelo site da hp e da erro, na instalaçao aparece a msg que ja tenho o programa instalado e preciso desistalar e logo depois aparece uma msg de erro em ingles.Desde ja muito agradecido e muito ancioso pela soluçao

HP G7 Power on/off issue

My G7 does not power on when the power button is pressed however, it automatically powers on when the lid is opened up to halfway up. If the lid is opened fully when the lcd is now on it shutts off again. If the lid remains partially open it stays on. I can connect an external lcd and everything works fine. I changed the power button board and it does the same thing.

Please help!

Hey all,

I have a compaq presario CQ56 and the hinge on the side makes a pop sound if I open it and close the lid, also the screen goes black if I move it. The only problem is the screen everything else is normal but I need help on what part I should open up to fix I'm guessing is a loose cable? I opened up the whole laptop and made sure everything else is connected but not the screen. Should try the screen?? Or can someone tell me what loose cable i'm supposed to reconnect..I'm kinda confused with this part.

Hello Everyone!

I have been having this problem for a while, i can't use my amd graphics card. When i install the driver and restart my computer it results in BOSD (atikmadag.sys). I have tried many drivers from old new but non seemed to work. I have even formated my laptop and installed a fresh copy of windows, nevertheless it always lead to the same problem. My current windows is 8.1 but the same used to happen with 8 and 7. To prevent the BOSD, i have entered safe mode then to device manager and disabled the amd graphics card. But still i want the amd graphics card to work. I have tried many time unistalling the intell and amd then installing intel first then amd but it always leads to the same problem. I have posted my problem many time but no one seemed to help. Since there are experts online today i hope this problem can be fixed.

Hello Hp

I have a HP pavilion dv9810us notebook computer. I am using Windows7 64 bit, and earlier I was able to move my slider on the resolution scale to higer than 1440x900 resolution. Now it will not go any higher than 1440x900, before it went up to 1400x 1050, how can I get the scale to go higher on the resolution bar?

It has a NVIDIA GeForce GO 7150M graphics and HP support assistant says it is up to date.

i have a dv5 pavilion entertainment pc.

when i have my charger in the pc will work for two minutes before verticle lines come onto the screen . and now when i switch on my pc everything is on besides the screen. i cant seem to get it to work .

My display flickered for a couple of days then went out...I can now after a closer look see a faint background image...I m assuming it might be the backlight...but is being told it may be the inverter...I m at my wits end because it seems like a complex install either way....and possibly expensive if I pay someone else to do it I would appreciate any input on my situation... thanx

I would like to know how could I set up for an applications to be managed by one of those 2 graphic cards (manually), and/or how can I check which graphic card is used..

I have Win Vista Bus/HP 6910p. When I use the print screen button and attempt to capture anything-such as the desk top and paste it in MS Paint-nothing happens. The Paint drop down menu is not dark gray(activated). I can't scrn prnt to other apps also. The app are working because I can cut and paint to them form another object. But I can't screen print. I worked with MS support and down loaded any existing upgrades fro my Windows and still no solution-so I am wondering if it is a Hardware problem.

I have a built in webcam in my LA2206xc monitor but my windows 7 pro OS is not finding it. My laptop is a HP Elitebook 8740w. I have installed the drivers for my Monitor and still nothing. How do I get the Laptop/OS to see the webcam device? I have connect the Monitor using the DVI cable and the USB 3.0 cable.

i have HP ENVY dv6 Notebook pc with windows 8 x64 bit and i have problem in my screen colors looks abit not ummm not clear and when playing games,videos in dark moments i can't see nothing also the screen looks abit foggy in dark moments(areas) you can see white/gray light only i've tried many intel cp settengs but nothing worked with me can you help me? i'm using intelHD graphics 4000 btw

Hi Everyone,

I have recently ungraded my Envy 17 to Windows 8.1 and am now having real problems getting the DVD / Blu-ray to recognise any discs. I have done a search on the HP website but with not much luck, a lot of the time it just takes me back to the search page and the support pages are only for Windows 7.

Any ideas please?

The computer is an Envy 17 1050ea Notebook

The drive is a hp DVDWBD TS-TB23L

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't find any 15-17" notebooks with IPS screen. Is there any way to identify IPS screens? Any list of HP notebooks with IPS screens? The only ones I can easily find are 11-13" laptops with IPS.

BestBuy shows HP ENVY TouchSmart m7-j010dx as having a FullHD IPS screen
