Your PC cant project to another screen.Try reinstalling the driver or using different video card.

The keyboard keys fn+f5 and fn+f6 do not work for changing the brightness under windows 10. Other fn keys, like for changing the volume - work.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
my taskbar used to hide until i needed it now it will not hide anymore how do i get it to hide again
I installed some apps and programs and some of them look a bit off.
For example, Arduino looks pretty small and has a very small interface/window. The same for Popcorn Time and when installing Solid Works, the installation window is so small you can barely read the information.
I tried changing the resolution, updating the BIOS and Graphic Drivers but nothings seems to be changing.
Does anyone have the same issue? Has anyone solved it yet?

This system belongs to the company. the staff it was assinged to is leaving and now we find it difficult to transfer the computer to another user because we could not change the fingerprint password of the old user to that of the new user. The question is, how do we go about changing the fingerprint security to that of the new user? Thanks.
The machine shuts down almost immediately when the Intel HD300 drivers are loaded. Not a driver issue, it blows up when higher res graphics are employed. Apparently the imbedded Intel HD3000 graphics chip is bad but I can't find anything that says it can be repaired or replaced.
Hello, I have just brought a HP 15 Series Laptop but I have a problem with the tackpad buttons. I find they are hard to press, does anyone else have experience of this and are there any solutions.
Back when Windows 10 was first released, I excitedly upgraded my OS from Windows 7 to it. However, once I'd upgraded, I was unable to connect an external display monitor to my laptop. The laptop just wouldn't recognize that there was an external monitor there. I had done some research and tried updating my graphics drivers. My laptop has switchable graphics which makes it a little more complicated (at least from my point of view) with the following display adapters:
-> ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
-> Intel(R) HD Graphics
Since there wasn't a lot of documentation on what driver updates I would need, I may have installed the incorrect drivers back then, which resulted in a black screen after the booting screen when I restarted the computer and it wasn't booting into the OS. I had to boot into a separate Linux OS from a CD (at which point the screen was working), back up all my files, and then reformat my computer back to Windows 7.
Ever since then, I've been apprehensive on updating to Windows 10. I want to know, if I were to update to it now, are there drivers available that will allow me to not run into the same problems?
I can provide my serial number, if required.
My laptop randomly goes to sleep. I then have to wake it back up and put my password in. I've changed all my sleep settings to 'never' and installed latest display drivers but it's still happening. Any help would be great as it is very annoying

recently my laptop has been freezing randomly while i'm using it ...
The first time it happened, i thought that it will not happen again but my laptop cotinued to freeze about 2 times a day.
When it happen, i cannot even move the cursor or do anything except turn it off and on again and when i keep on pressong on the "power button" , there is a "Beep sound" for like a second before it turn off ...
how can i stop my laptop from freezing please ??

My cursor has started to either freeze completely or go wonky all over the screen, making me have to restart my laptop but it will then only be OK for a short time. I've tried searching for updated drivers (apparently they were OK) and rolled back and then did an update....all to no avail. My Prod # is - E0P73UA#ABL. Any help would be MUCH appreciated...this is driving me bonkers! (Not even sure I chose the correct board?) The ONLY thing I've done diferently recently was having to purchase a new AC adaptor cord, which I cannot imagine has anything to do with this. And I upgraded to Windows 10 around the middle of May/2016
I've got a yellow vertical line down the middle of my laptop screen. From what I've read and the troubleshooting I've undertaken, the screen is failing and the problem is only going to get worse. I bought the computer in December 2014; it is less than a year and a half old. I am retired and use the computer a few times a week, never more than one hour at a time. I've never dropped the computer or abused it in any way and the computer has never been taken out of my house. I am appalled that a company like HP would produce such an inferior product. Are their products so crappy that an extended warranty should no longer be considered an option but a necesssity? There is no reason for this problem other than HP cares nothing about the products it makes. I want to contact an officer of the company and have found that this is impossibile to do. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I cannot afford to have the computer fixed. Now what do I do?
I can't extend the desktop using a hdmi to vga adapter! It only wants to duplicate my karaoke software screen AND singer screen. I only want to extend the singer screen. There does not seem to be an option available. I can not use it for karaoke work this way. What to do. Gig tomoprrow night! My older HP 17.3 with vga has no problem.
I have an old HP Pavilion DV6-2150us laptop. Recently while taking the system apart to clean it I managed to damage the LED panel cable that plugs into the motherboard. I ordered a replacement cable for it and installed it. The system ran fine for about 30 hours. In this time I installed Windows 10 and was performing updates. Everything was going smoothly until instead of a restart I chose to shut down the system. I powered it on and it ran for about 5 seconds and nothing else happened. My luck would have it that I burned out my GPU, or at least the cuircuits around it. I bought a new motherboard and now what I'm wondering is if I got the wrong cable or if a driver update from Windows 10 could have possibly burned out my GPU? I should also mention that I turned up the resolution settings as high as I could with Windows 10. The original cable part # was 7F09C4, the replacement was 7F1024. I ordered another cable that was "an exact match" but it wasn't cause that's how my luck has been going with this project. The number of the newest cable is 7F0974. They all three share the same HP spare # 538312-001 so? The first cable i bought DOES run the screen, but I need to know if this is what caused the damage? I also need to find out if it's possible that the Windows 10 driver allowed me to use a resolution setting that my GPU couldn't handle? Any help would and will be greatly appreciated regarding this matter, thank you!
Apologize for re-posting same issue but re-stating for clarification. The computer works fine with default VGA graphics (poor), but shuts down almost immediately when Intel HD 3000 graphics are used. All hardware tests pass including the system board but the component test for video palette check fails. I assume that is the Intel graphics chip but I don't know if it can be repaired or replaced....or will anything else cause the described problem? I have an almost identitical issue with a Macbook Pro with Intel High Res Graphics. Works fine with low res graphics aps so I fear that it is an unresolvable Intel embed issue.
I am always brushing the touchpad when I'm typing which causes the cursor to jump. Is there an easy way to disable/enable the touchpad? (or is it called a clickpad on my model?).
