Hi all, how can I turn off the option in the track pad wich makes the cursor to return in place after a small fast movement? I understand it's a useful feature when you don't want to move it accidentally, but it's really annoing when you are trying to just move a little bit the cursor. I have a spectre x360 in the sinaptic option panel there is no option to turn of this feature.

Envy 13 QHD display minimising installation window for MS Office
I am trying to install Office 2007 from the original DVD via an external driveon a new Envy 13 with a quad HD display, but the installation screen is minimised although the text is full sized so that only a small part of the screen is visible (none of the input fields). The option to maximise the screen is greyed out and changing the display resolution doesn't make any difference. HP technical support referred me to Microsoft who referred me back to HP! Has anybody else encountered this problem and found a way around it?

ZBook 17 G3 with 3 external monitors and Advanced Dock
I recently upgraded from an EliteBook 8570w to a ZBook 17 G2. I had 3 external monitors working on the 8570w with Windows 7. My ZBook is running Windows 8.1 (64-bit), however, I can only get 2 monitors running at the same time.
My docking station is an HP Advanced Docking Station (A7E38AA), and the displays are all HP's. 1 is a
Z24i connected with DisplayPort, the 2nd is a ZR2440w also connected with DisplayPort. The 3rd is another Z24i connected with VGA. It is the VGA display that is not working currently.
I've tried updating the drivers and that didn't work, in fact since I updated the driver, the 2 working displays screens seem to flash off and back on at random intervals (almost like the display settings were changed). I also tried to connect the VGA monitor directly to the VGA port on the laptop and did not get any results.
The 3rd monitor is simply just not being detected. If I look at the NVida Control Panel, it is only showing the 2 displays, as does the Windows Display Settings.
Any ideas? Is there something I am missing, or is this a Windows 8.1

Granddaughter dropped her laptop (that I purchased). The screen is now just black. I want to replace the screen, however, I've been told that I might need to purchase the digitizer also. How would I be able to know if I need that and what are the part names or numbers for this total repair?

How to Disable Touchpad on ProBook 6460b
How do I disable the touchpad on my ProBook 6460b? I do a lot of wordprocessing, and having the cursor relocate whever I accidentally brush the touchpad is near crippling.
I've googled, and checked through the forums here and elsewhere, and none of the recommendations I've found seem to apply.
-there is no little white spot/button at the upper left corner to double tap.
-When I go to Control Panel>Mouse, the touchpad is listed as "PS-2 compatible mouse" and there is no option I can find to disable it. Under Device Manager, I have the option to Uninstall the driver, but not to disable it.
Also, somebody tell the HP hardware designers that having an easily identifiable switch, a hardware one preferably, to disable the touchpad is a HUUUUUUUGE plus. The lack of such presents a clear danger of making me never buy HP again.

Brightness on my computer
I have an HP 15 laptop and my F2 and F3 keys stopped working so I looked up what to do and it told me to update my driver adapter so I did and it helped for a split second and then didn't work anymore. Then I went to update again and then searched my computer for the software and it said that it updated again but still didn't actually work. What can I do to fix this problem?

Can't set sensitivity on touchpad on an HP notebook Windows 10 64 bit
The zoom on my laptop is way tooooo sensitive. I want to adjust but it is nowhere in the controls or settings. It says I'm missing an extension. The laptop is only 6 mos old. I need the synaptics control screen and it won't come up. Any suggestions?

Trouble with Spectre x360 and Viewsonic Monitor, blurry text and black bars on top and sides?
I have it hooked up with HDMI (brand new gold plated cable). The text especially is blurry/fuzzy and the screen doesn't take up all the space it should - about 1/2" at the top and sides, bottom is ok. The guy at View Sonic support said it was a video card issue and I would have to figure it out with HP or Intel. Can anyone help me? I have Intel HD graphics. The monitor is Viewsonic VX2270-Smh-LED. It's 21.5" 1080p frameless IPS display.

Hinge alignment
I have a Spectre x360-13 and the hinges are not aligned evenly. By being misaligned, the screen doesn't match up with the base when closed and it is difficult to get it in tablet mode. It is as if one of the hinge is broken or slipped a gear. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

How to Go back to full touch support when new windows is installed
Hello Friends, I have recently bought the HP Envy laptop with windows 8.1 and Touchscreen. It was working perfectly when I had to reinstall the windows to partition my hdd. Before reinstallation, it Said "Full Windows Touch Support with 10 Touch points" but now the touch screen is not working and it says, "No Pen or Touch Input" Please help me in solving my problem. I want to use the same experience as it was before the reinstallation of the windows 8.1

Update for HD5500
When will Hp provide an update for the HD5500 graphics card. There is an Intel update but I am unable to load it and it refers me to my notebook manufacturer.
Please advise when this update will be issued as I am unable to use my Links 2003 golf sim.

Connecting Smart TV as monitor to my HP Notebook
Hello.
I try to connect the Smart TV as monitor to my Notebook. I did:
1. Have connected the HDMI cable between TV and Notebook;
2. Have selected the correct/right Source on my TV (HDMI3);
3. Have pressed on my Notebook the combination of keys Fn+F4 (duplicate monitor).
But, unfortunetely, my TV show the message "No Cable Connected".
Please, I will begrateful if I will receive the tips/advices.

Wake up issue on HP Notebook
My Laptop is not waking up from sleep, I have updated the lastest BIOS veriosn aswell. I cannot fidn the Power Management Tab on the properties of Keyboard and Touchpad.
Tried to set this through command prompt, but not able to as I am getiing access denied error even though I am the administrator of the system.
Quick help will be much appreciated.

AMD Radeon HD 8510G driver update error
Every time I install the latest version of the 8510G driver the computer is unable to access the HDMI jack to send a signal to the external monitor/projector. Has anyone found a fix other than rolling the driver back?

HP Pavilion notebook 15 PC does not connect to HDMI
Hello,
So i use a projector (Epson SB03) to watch movies (I use my HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC for this)
I use a HDMI adaptor to get a signal to the projector, and about a week ago it stopped connecting.
The thing is, it works on my second laptop, so it can't be the projector; either the cable or the HDMI port on the pavillion.
I want to see if anyone knows any fixes before i go to buy new cables and adapters etc.
any help would be apreciated.
