I recently recieved a Stream X360 from a buddy who didn't want it anymore. I really like the laptop because if it's converitbility into a tablet, however, I was wondering if anyone has bought a Capactive stylus that works well with this device. I've upgraded it to windows 10 recently with a clean-install, everything functions as it should.

I'm having this problem since a few days ago after a Windows 10 (64 bits) update. The problem is that when i open some games (Fallout 4, COD Black Ops III, Witcher 3, Far Cry 4) the screen goes black with the loading icon running forever.
Tried a few things:
The notebook came with some benchmarks, like Valley Benchmark 1.0. When i try to run it with DirectX 11 i get this error:
Direct3D11 error:0x087A0001
D3D11AppWindow::create_context(): CreateSwapChain(): Failed
Engine::video_restart(): can't set 1920x1080 fullscreen video mode.
With DirectX 9 works fine.
Other games like CS:GO work great.
The notebook is fully upgraded (windows, drivers, vga driver).
Any ideas? I'm a bit lost and google isnt helping.

I have recently bought a omen off some one and they said the computer had nvidia card in it. When I go to the display in system maintmance it is showing a intell 4600, yet it has a sticker on the front showing having Nvidia , when I tryed installing a Nvidia driver its crashed my laptop and I had to reset from a backup drive. Does any one know of a way to find out if it actualy has a Nvidia graphics are or not.
Hi, I have a Hewlett Packard Stream 11.6" Convertible Laptop (Celeron, 2GB, 32GB eMMC) with Windows 10 that I bought last december. Just today after putting my hp to sleep when I open the lid its only blacksreen and froze. The power button on( not blinking) and caps lock light on (not blinking). Also when I plug it in to the power adapter the indicator light is off. Everytime i press the touch pad it produces the chime sound....(same sound when updating or popping message). I try the hard reset but it wont happen, its still the same...please help me.....thank you
So it hasnt even been a month since i got this new laptop.
After two weeks i notices that there were these 3 white spots seen on the midlle of the screen.
However these white spots are only visible on a dark background.
They are not visible on lighter backgrounds and cannot be seen at all on a white background.
Any idea what this might be?
The white spots change color for the other colors but when it comes to black they remain white.
Basically i bought a second screen and my laptop wont recognise that its connected. I have tried updating my intel drivers and had a play around with settings but nothing seems to work. Can anyone please help?
The little light that turns white when WiFi is on and orange when WiFi is off is not changing colour anymore. It is continuously white now except I did notice briefly it is orange when booting up.
It might have stopped working when I upgraded to Win 10, but I am not sure.
How can I get this work again please?

I recently purchased a hp 15 ab108ax. Within a week of very light usage the main gpu(R7 m360) has started crashing on a daily basis. Also I do not get a decent framerate and a stutter free experience in most games older games even though my laptop specs meet the recommended requirements of the game

I have had HP laptops before and just got an envy m7 n109 today and it has the backlight bleeding. My last HP was a pavillion dv7 and did not have any display issues. Very disappointing to see so many threads with the bleed issues.
Please my keyboard shift botton was not working properly,so i opened my laptop to clean the keyboard and after that,when i coupled my laptop back i realised the mouse pad light keeps showing orange colour and the mouse gets so so extremely hot and the orange light never goes off. please assist me as i need urgent answer. thank you
i have a brand new Pavilion 17t. I received it on Feb 24, 2016 and it is now Mar 5, 2016. When I first got the laptop all touch features worked fine. Sine then i have had a couple of HP updates that required restarts. Two days ago i noticed the touch feature no longer worked. When i go to the pen and touch properties all of thge buttons are greyed out. I know it is possible that one of the updates may have turned it off. How can i find out what happened and undo it. i use touch a lot. It's acting as if my monitor is not touch capable. How can i check this while it is still under warranty?
I Update the Touchpads driver but still not working correctly.
the problem is that when I touch the pad the cursor moves right upper corner and when I moves my finger on touchpad then cursor moves right upper corner to left upper corner nad the buttons also not responding correctly
what can i do
The right side (it's split exactly at half) of my screen comes up as random bars etc. This is a physical problem because if i push the bottom of the screen inwards it goes, but it is very unpractical and practically impossible. I am tired of not seeing half of my screen, any help?
After allowing the laptop to carry out an HP update which mentioned BIOS update I cannot project to my LCD screen?
Clearly something related to the update as everything was just fine beforehand.

ok guys, I screwed up my hp envy 17 1181nr.
I was somehow trying to make a small overclock in the ATI 5580 card (she's flashing the screen randomly when activated). I had the great idea to pick up a BIOS in internet and write in the ATI card. The result is obvious ... no image on the screen. The computer starts, but apparently does not boot. Is there any way I can disable in mobo the ATI card and make it only recognize the intel? This ATI card has dual bios? Can anybody help me?
how to force the mobo to the notebook only use the intel video card? My ATI card is gone and only gets a black screen. I installed the wrong bios on it.
please help me solve the issue even the bios screen is slowing the blue green screen is is a software or hardware problen or is it the ram problem tried all possible ways
