Solidworks problem on hp pavilion 15 series
I am using solidworks 2013 64bit on my hp pavilion 15e007tx running with windows 8 64bit. the problem is while doing several operation like rotate, move the environment graphics flicks. I have tried the method of lowering hardware acceleration but couldnt find the option. Also the software open gl is disabled and greyed. the notebook contains intel hd 4600 and amd 8670 graphics. Please anyone tell me how to solve this. Its really annoying.

AMD Radeon HD 8670M (1 GB DDR3 dedicated) - Driver
Hello,
We have recently purchased number of HP Pavilion 15-n037tx Notebook PC Laptops (Product: f3z86pa) for our company, due to no-familiarities with windows 8 new interface of end users, we planned to go with windows 7 Professional x64 edition (which HP doesn’t recommend)
Problem:
I couldn’t find the AMD Radeon HD 8670m driver at first, but after reading some posts and research I found that I should try amd_catalyst_13.11_mobility_betav9.5 driver available on AMD website,

After installation, the yellow sign of exclamation went off from the Video Controller in Device Manager but when I open Display Adapter I found AMD Radeon HD 8600M Series with the Yellow Sign of Exclamation.
Attached is a Snap-shot of it.
I’m not sure has the video driver installed properly or not?
I’ll appreciate your help please.

hp pavilion dv6-6116tx windows8 radeon graphic not working i.e. need graphic 6490m driver
this post is for everyone who has hp pavilion dv6-6116tx laptop with windows8 facing problem amd graphic card not working.
i have tried every driver provided by official amd site but still graphic card not working. following are the drivers which i tried
this 1.1mb exe file says
after downloading 2nd link i.e. beta driver of 240mb
after installing it .. it gives error message on accessing it by right click on desktop by cliking on catalyst control centre
i also download graphic driver for my laptop from official hp site .. hp site doesnot listed my windows8 os to download the drivers for windows8..
so i tried to download windows7 driver which is available for my laptop.
But still my graphic card not working ..
i went to hp service centre also to check for any harware issues isn't there but they says me hardware is properly working .. u need to install correct driver for that.
i tried all of these driver with COMPATIBILITY MODE also with windows7 and xp sp3. but still it doesnot works..
IS THERE ANY HP EXPERT WHICH HAS SOLUTION THIS PROBLEM.
LOTS OF PEOPLE FACING WINDOWS8 DRIVER PROBLEM WITH HP PAVILION DV6-6116TX .

Help! My HP Silver 17.3" Pavilion 17-e049wm has a white screen
I was on my laptop and the screen just went white! It has slight variations of white that change a little every once in a while. What do I do? Please someone help me!

DV7 Product number: XE364EA#ABZ Blank Screen After Boot
Hi All,
After Upgrading to W 8.1 the reboot shows a blank screen. A second deep reboot will solve the problem.
When the NB is in blank screen status, it is still reachable by remote desktop.
It seems to be something like a Video Display wakeup problem.
Please note that this behaviour was first time seen after an aiutomatic update from W8 to W8.1
I understand this HW has not fully tested by HP on W8 ... but any help will be great

How to shut off screen and keep the display working on an external monitor for G7 with Windows 8?
I am trying to use my G7 as a desktop replacement. I have an external monitor, keyboard and mouse. I want to be able to shut off the G7's monitor(or at least be able to close the lid) and yet have the external monitor still work. I saw a post on this but it was for Windows 7 and the fix did not work for my G7 w/ W8. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Cannot detect webcam HP Probook 6550b
Hello All,
I have a HP Laptop, namely HP Probook 6550b. It's webcam is not getting detected.
I tried to install the driver sp52437 from hp.com, but it says not compatible for the device.
Then tried with sp47793, but received an error saying that "ALSMON has stopped working".
Can you please arrange the correct drivers or provide a solution for this?

Envy laptop not using installed Nvidia GT750M card
I just bought a loaded Envy 17" laptop and the graphics are poor - much worse than my old DV8T. When I run games the high gaphics settings are greyed out. I have gone into the Nvidia control panel and tried to force discrete graphics but nothing changes. The driver update screen says no updates are available. Any ideas?

Blinking bar on my Envy dv7-7298ca HP laptop
Dear HP Support,
I bought an Envy dv7-7298ca HP laptop at the beginning of 2013 at BestBuy in Canada. It was working fine until last night when a line maybe 2 millimeters thick now started to show up at about a quarter of the way from the bottom of the screen and flashes randomly, sometimes constantly.

HP ENVY TouchSmart 14-k022tx BIOS
Is HP going to provide a bios update for HP ENVY TouchSmart 14-k022tx to allow user to toggle between discrete and integrated graphics?
I have reformatted my PC and now the nVidia graphics doesn't work (cannot be installed).
This is my first HP laptop and it has already left sour taste in my mouth.
BTW, the wireless button driver not working in Windows 8.1 as well. GET IT FIX!

I have recently discovered that the colors my computer displays is different from other computers. This normally would not be an issue, but I am developing a website, and the colors I see are different than my client. This is making things difficult. Is this a common issue? What can I do?

hp g60 backlight goes off
HP G60 214 em
Everything seems to be working OK but the backlight seems to time out. It can be resurrected by setting to sleep and waking it up. The time it stays on changes for no reason. I have hardly ever closed the lid so I doubt if it is the connection. No event appears to make it happen. I have had a bad battery for a while, now replaced but the problem has not gone away.
I can see a ghost image with some screens. There is no fade, it just goes away.
Any ideas plz guys?

HDMI laptop to TV, no sound on HP envy touchsmart m6 sleekbook
I try connecting my HP envy touchsmart m6 sleekbook to my tv by HDMI. when plugged in it immediately reformats and the computer screen appears on the TV. How ever when i tried to play a video the sound only came from my laptop. I went to sound properties playback and did not see the HDMI option.
