sreen problem
please i need help urgently, i powerd up my laptop and realised the sreen had turn puple and some time white lines appear across the screen but the screen still shows regardless i need to know if its the screen that needs replacement or the flex needs replacment.

HP Ppavillion dv6700 Laptop running Windows 7 - No Display to External Monitor
hello my name is rick and i am having a really hard time getting everything on my laptop to run properly.
i used to have win visata on this machine and whern i upgraded to win 7 ultamate today it was missing all kinds of drivers , i did a fresh instal (drive) wipe to make sure i had the best install but after i did so i found out that hp stopped supporting driver for this machine after win vista,,,,,, So, he is my issues:
i had base controllers not instaled i got theose (ricoh)
i had copressessor issue got it half way (nvidia)
here is the issue i have now the graphics adapter says :standard vga and not nvidia and i have no nvidia control panel like ui used to have with win vista , so how in the heck do i get my Nvidia running again and how can i get my graphics to run properly???

Problem operating system monitor HP g170nd windows 10
Since a month I have a new HP 17-g170nd, ordered at the HP shop.
Very competent with the laptop, but unfortunately there's a problem/notification/message that keeps coming back.
Almost since the beginning I often get a message at the right bottom of my screen that the operating system of the monitor wasn't oké and that it's recovered.
The message says that it's about the system Windows 8, but I think there's the problem because the laptop is deliverd with Windows 10, so it apperas to me that the right Intel driver for the monitor wasn't downloaded on my laptop.
Please correct me if that's not the right thought!
Can someone tell me how this problem can be fixed, or where I can find the right driver to install, and what driver exactly I need to install? I allready searched at the HP site, but can't find it, and the things I already downloaded didn't fix the problem, it keeps coming back.
Excuse me by the way for my English, i'm Dutch.

Brand new Spectre 12 x2 keyboard backlighting does not come on
I have had the computer about a week and have had no need for backlighting until today. It doesn't come on with f5, f5 plus function, f5 plus function plus spacebar......any of the suggestions I have read in the forum archives. Anything else to try? I cringe at the thought of calling HP support during the holiday buying season! Thanks in advance for any replies.

i cant open my ATI catalyst control centre.on opening this pops up "could not load cli.implementation or one of its dependencies".
i tried reinstalling ati drivers from hp site but still this persists.

AMD Graphic Driver problem after Windows 10 upgrade
Hi, my aunt recently downloaded Windows 10 to her Pavilion dv6. Since then, she's been getting the following message on startup: ``No AMD graphic driver is installed or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware." Any ideas what the problem could be?

How to enable tablet keyboard when in tablet mode
Hello,
I just got the Spectre x360 notebook. When in tablet mode, the keyboard disables, but no tablet keyboard is shown on the touch screen.
How is this enabled? Currenty it is not possible to enter anything (no keyboard is shown on the screen like on a smartphone) ex when browsing, when using the pc in tablet mode.

Need help connecting to an external monitor
Hi I have a HPCompaq 15-S108NA laptop and I am trying to connect it to a second monitor. It connects absoutely fine when I load into windows, however I need to connect into it via a USB secure deskstop which runs off linux. Can I do anything to make this works. When I load into the USB secure desktop, it does not recognise the 2nd desktop. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks !!

I am having issues with my printer actually printing item it wont print black only. this happened after I used copy item choice. has been working before that.{ hp b210 series}. have done factory default restore on printer, resets, just wont work. It doesnt display home icon anymore just ? mark

Problem installing Intel HD Graphics driver
Hello ..
I downloaded the Intel HD Graphics driver for my Laptop from here : http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69623.exe
and when i tried to install it, it shows the message "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software" ..
there's a currently installed driver for Intel HD Graphics driver that i've downloaded months ago when i bought my laptop, but i has an annoying problem which is those lines appearing sometimes on my screen.
Those lines disappeared when i uninstalled the driver and came back when i reinstalled it.
I just wanted to install the latest one from HP hoping it will fix this problem. Can you please help me ?

flickering screen
hello,
when the comp is not charged and i use it, whenever i'm on the desktop screen and move the pointer over the icons i have a slight dimming of the screen. this also happenes every 10 sec when the comp is "thinking"
when the comp is plugged in or i'm not on the desktop screen it doesn't happen.
what seems to be the problem or is that normal? never had that with any other laptop i owned.

Brightness Hotkeys (F9/F10) Intermittent after wake from Standby
I've noticed a problem where sometimes the brightness hotkeys Fn + F9/F10 do not allow the brightness to be adjusted. If I reboot the PC then as far as I know they always work, but sometimes after waking from sleep this feature no longer works. When I press Fn + F9 the little brightness indicator bar pops up at the bottom of the screen, but there is no blue indicator showing the current brightness level and the brightness does not adjust up or down. The problem doesn't always happen after wake from sleep.
Firmware v1.33
Any ideas on how to resolve this?

World of Warcraft
Ever since the latest patch on or about 12/11/2015 I have been unable to play World of Warcraft (WoW) I log in and in about 5-10 minutes later the program locks up. Update the vide driver: Lock. Reload WoW, Lock. Short of reinstalling the OS to factory original I have been unable to fix the locckup problem. It shouldn'n require a reinstall of the OS to fix but I'm not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated!!

hinges broken
Hai,
I am using a pavilion m6 notebook from 2-3 yeras. Recently while opening the notebook, right side hinge got broken by itself. Now after usage of notebook without fixing the issue, the metal strip also has came out.
is it possible to replace the broken hinge...??

HP Pavilion 11-n001tu x360 touch screen not working after updating drivers
My laptop's touch screen doesn't work after updating my drivers to date. I opened the Tablet PC Setting, it says 'There is no pen or touch input available for this display' . (I used Shorcut to open the setting because the Tablet PC Setting disappeared in the control panel along with the functionality of the touchscreen). I tried doing a recovery but it wasn't successful to bring the touch back.
Plus the HID-Compliant touchscreen driver is missing.
Please help me to fix this, thanks.
