Don't know if anyone can help? basically I have just purchased a new HP Envy 13 and the screen/laptop seems to buzz when the brightness is set to below 75% ish obviously I don't think it should be doing this so should I return the laptop to HP? or is this an issue with them all?

After upgrade of new HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n010nl from windows8 to windows10, webcam driver is automatically updated to Intel 20.10154.5740.705 (04/07/2015) and an error "webcam used by another application" is presented when using any webcam software (skype, w10 webcam software...)
Downgrading the webcam driver to previous version Intel 603.9600.2102.49166 (19/09/2014), the error disappears and the webcam led lights on but sometimes the webcam screen remains black and hangs.

I bought an Envy at Best Buy and the exact same day I got it, I went onto the internet and all of a sudden my screen kept going completely black. I had only had it for an hour or so. I used it for a couple more weeks and it continued to do the same thing then I turned it off and the screen would not come on again at all. I took it to geek squad and they could not get screen on so it was sent back to HP. I was notified by HP that they could not fix the issue so to go back to Best Buy and receive a new one.
I went 2 days ago and started using it again for the first time yesteday and the same thing happened again, the screen went black when I went onto the internet.
This is extremely frustrating since I am in finals at college and I havn't been able to use my new laptop for more than a day each time without there being issues.

I have this 1 year and 3 months old notebook that recently showed this problem with the screen. A large portion of the screen becomes pink* (and sometimes other parts might be slightly affected). The pink region does not appear periodically. When it appears it stays for a while until there is a physical action on the device. For instance, applying pressure to the lower part of the screen restores the colors (this could mean that there is a bad connection or something similar). Unfortunately, this is not a convenient solution.
Could you help resolve the issue? Is it something that I could on my own or to whom should I address to in order to resolve the issue (could you make a rough estimate for the cost)?

Photoshop needs a new graphics driver to enable it to use the graphiocs processor.
The Intel website says that the driver is a custom one developed by HP. Is there a version that works for the garphic processor in Photoshop?
I bought a laptop for school and also wanted to get into using a GoPro and making videos with it. Great performance, love the 960 GB SSD and the 16 G of RAM, but I also paid $2208 for it. Within a year the left hinge started to seem off, it quickly disintegrated into nothing. Pieces of plastic rattle around and randomly fall out. I am in nursing school so I can't exactly just send in my laptop for weeks on end as I need it daily. Plus everything I've read says unless its fixed AND reinforced it breaks within months again. I also cannot afford the $350 price tag for a fix. I am stuck opening the screen at the speed of smell. I need to support the base next the broken hinge and re-snapping it together every time I open or close it to prevent further disintegration.
Long story short I did research on left hinge issues and found out it happens to many HP envy owners. Out of 40 people in my class, 5 of them have had the left hinge break on their laptop and all were HP envy. I look online and find literally thousands of posts, many on this exact website, with the same problem. What I want to know is how HP can continually put out a product they KNOW is faulty. How can they charge 2200 bucks for a laptop that will break within a year. I am FED UP with HP I will NEVER buy one again. My Toshiba is 8 years old and not one physical issue with it. HP at the very least start including a bottle of lube in the box with the Envy, so it is a bit easier for the customer to take when they are screwed.
My icons all flash on and off, as does the cursor in command line mode. I can stop this when I click on the taskbar, or by holding down the CAPS LOCK key. I ran "scf /scannow" asa n administrator. The result was that errors were found and fixed. No luck. I also greatly reduced the number of icons on my desktop by placing them into folders--again no luck.
I also went into Device Manager and selected disply, in order to see if the video driver was bad. All reported fine.
Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
I am using HP Pavilion g6 laptop. It's Screen displays Wobbling all the time. Pls advice why this begins to happen ? and how can I repair this matter ? Is this software matter or hardware ?
I just bought this laptop late december. I noticed in in august that I would occasionally see dots flickering on the screen (most noticable against white/light backgrounds) but thought I was just seeing things. Then it got worse in November when the colors got really muted and distorted on the screen (which was weird since there was never a problem with the log in screen-and still isn't a problem), but I could usually fix that by messing around with the angle of the screen until it went away. Now I can't even fix it and it is driving me up the wall when I try to do my actual work on my laptop. I called today and was on hold for over 45 minutes only to be told that I was out of warrenty and that any services would be paid (oh h--- no! if I will not be giving anymore money to this company, subcontractors or not-I haven't even had this laptop for a year) . So I am kind of stuck and would love to have any tips since I am about to light this computer on fire in irritation.
My laptop model is Dv6 6C02tx. Few days ago my system cooling fan stopped running, then when i start the laptop ,system fan (90B) error problem appear on screen. After replacing the cooling fan my laptop not starting like before. It becomes hang on windows logo. Then i have install new operating system. Laptop turn on perfectly , but when i install the grapivhs driver and reboot laptop it showing the same problem , hang on windows logo. What is the problem cant understand.

since i upgraded to window 10 I cannot use my AMD Radeon hd card,
and on catalyst i dont have the choice anymore to switche from one card to the other, what can i do , basically my computer run only on intel HD Graphics card, no no open gl ,no games anymore.......

I have been having difficulty trying to play new games( Maplestory and Minecraft) on my laptop. After trying extensively to fix the issues on the specific game forums I have come to the conclusion that my video card is whats affecting my ability to play these games.
I have an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running 64- bit Windows 10.
The problem I believe to be hindering my ability to load these games is my AMD Radeon HD 6300m series display adapter. Looking in the Device Manager I see it has a Code 43 error: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems."
I have uninstalled & reinstalled the drivers with windows update. I went to the AMD Website and installed the new Crimson 15.11.1 beta drivers.

I was thinking that maybe since I opened my laptop sometime ago, and possibly didnt plug them back in the right way might be a possibility, but my dad says theyre built into the motherboard. I'm beginning to believe this is a problem with Windows 10 and alas, I have no option to downgrade.
If anyone has any ideas what might be wrong and/or how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Let me know if there is any more information I would need to post and I'll gladly try my best to keep you guys updated.

I currently have a HP Spectre X 360 with I7 5500 and 8gb mem, I am trying to cast wirelessly to my samsung 65in Smart Tv. Both devices recognize and connect to each other but my samsung TV keeps loading... and after 15 sec gives me an error message the video is not compatible. I am not projecting any video and only want to mirror my desktop screen.
I have downlowded all HP and Windows updates including the new bios and bluetooth update drivers. Please advise on how I can fix this problem?

Ok so my laptop screen sometimes, ok so almost every time i close the screen and re open it and/or when i move the laptop to a new location. the screen freezes and turns white. if i slightly apply pressure to the screen by opening it, SLIGHTLY bending it and sometimes tapping it, it will go back to normal but the top of the screen flashes slighly, like a tube tv when it first turns on, the flassing typically goes away after about 30 seconds at most.
ive looked up this problem but so many "sketchy" websites say its this or that and ask you to download **bleep**. No download! anyways i dont know what caused it but i have 3 theories: its an iternal error with the circut of the compute or a broke wire or similar... #2 i downloaded a screensaver and it started to happen not to long afterwards. the screensaver works fine but i thought it gave me a virus when i first seen this but i know for a fact its not a virus. #3 ive dropped my computer a time or two so that could be a problem. i mean its not like im walking outside and dropped it on the sidewalk and dropped it. it was once off the coffie table when i accidentally bumped it and the other was off a step stool onto wood floor.
do i need to replace my monitor/whole computer? any quick fix? just take in my computer to be repaired? other? do nothing, wit will fix its self?
also when it enters sleep mode, turns off, batterie dies, and i then turn it back on there is a white screen that shows, i think this is connected but im unsure
I have a relatively new HP Spectre 360 and need to connect it to a projector which only has VGA ports to mirror the display for presentations. I have an HDMI to VGA cable which works just fine connecting to TVs with VGA ports but cannot get the computer to recognize the projector. It's as if there is no connection. fn F4 makes absolutely no difference. Anyone know how to resolve this problem?
When I updated my laptop to Windows 10, I intermittently gets a black screen on bootup. It is as thought the machine boots up fine, just that no display showing up. Whenever I encounters that, I need to pressed the power button again to power down, and another time to power back up before I see the Windows display.
Last night after updating Windows 10 version 1511. Everytime my machine boots up first time, it will always show a black display. I have to do the power off power on routine each time before I gets the windows 10 display on my laptop screen.
It seems to be ok when I do a windows reboot, but the problem will surface if I do a windows shutdown and switched back on again after sometimes.
Any advice on how to fix that? It is very annoying.
