Hello

 

My screen starts flickering unexpectedly while i was browing on FireFox last week,2nd day right after i get this new HP ENVY 13.

Window notification showed twice something like my grahic card driver went missing and it already install back automatically.

 

I thought the problem already solved but the screen started to flickering almost once per day.

 

i already disable and update my grahic card driver from Device Manager many times , in safe mode as well.

I do not have iCloud. Yesterday, i also disable ‘Problem Reports and Solution Control Panel‘and ‘Windows Error Reporting Service‘. 

 

Today the screen flickering and went black screen for a few second at the same time.

 

 

Please help me

Good afternoon everybody.
Thank anyone help me solve my strange problem.
I very recently bought a HP 250 G4.
With Windows OS 8.1 pre-installed.
I decided to upgrade to Windows 10.
The problem is that I realized that if you want to connect a VGA monitor to the VGA port of the notebook, the monitor is not working.
While if I use the HDMI port, the Monitor works.

 

I wonder if the VGA port is working or has other purposes.

If a fault driver windows 10 recognized.

 

Before restoring to 8.1 I would like to know if I can solve it with Windows 10.
ps. With Windows 8.1 factory had no way to prove the VGA port.

I'm Italian, sorry English horrendous.

I have a HP G62 which won't turn on the screen. I used it yesterday without any problems and today the screen doesn't turn on.

The laptop seems to turn on when power button is pressed but the HDD signal doesn't flash. Also I can't hear the windows start up sound and when I press the wifi button it doesn't change colour, same as Caps Lock (doesn't light up when pressed).

I tried to connect to my TV via HDMI but still no screen, I can't even enter bios.

Hi,

 

Since I have upgraded to Windows 10 I haven't been able to display on my second monitor.

 

I believe that the problem is with the switchable graphics technology with my AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 and my Intel HD graphics.

 

I've tried downloading/installing many drivers but any of them have worked so far.

 

Any help?

Im using hp elitebook 8440. I can control brightness from windows mobility center but the shortcut keys FN+F9 and FN+F10 are not working to control brightness.please help me

Ive just purchased a new HPPavilion x2 10-n054sa and ive downloaded skype onto it but when I try and use skype to make a video call it advises that the camera that is built in is not recognised. Ive used the camera in regular camera mode to take pictures and it works fine. Its just not working in the skype app. IJist to advise I currently have Windows 10 and so far checked on device manager under imaging devices and made sure device software is up to date etc. Any other ideas? Thanks

Problem: computer starts and goes to log in to windows page, but as soon as I log in the screen goes black and I can't see the desktop. The computer is still running, I can still hear system sounds, but the display is black. Pushing the power button to put the computer to sleep and immediately waking it up and logging back in sometimes results in a successful login.

 

The same issue occurs when I try to boot a game, the computer will load the game and play the game sounds, cursor hover-over buttons sounds but the display is black. Sometimes ctrl+alt+del will make the screen work if the computer already is logged in to windows when the issue occurs.

 

This issue has occurred since the computer was new, but has recently started to happen much more often after I reinstalled the operating system via HP's system recovery program last week.

 

Working with this is a huge pain, does anyone know how to fix it?

 

Info: ENVY 17-3270NR,  8gb RAM, i7 2.3 GHz, Radeon HD 7850M with 1024MB GDDR5.

trying to use a usb drive I always get access denied.  I have tried following all the advice I can get and non of it works.  Sometimes I just go round in circles.   Some advice in the forum seems so straight forward, yet I always get stuck because some expected option does not appear.

Does anyone know how to force this device to only use the external monitor outs, instead of the on board monitor? It currently has no OS.

the output on my HP notebook does not work,  checked the cable and all appears ok. Tried resetting the notebook but still to no prevail, just end up with a blank screen.  the TV registers a connection but nothing

I recently bought an old HP Pavilion dv8000 and wiped the drives (yes, I said drives. Never saw a laptop with 2 HD before).

Anyway, I have been trying to get the drivers for it but it seems it is a Windows XP computer. I installed Windows 7 and I don't think they work right.  I am about to wipe it again and install XP. I'd really like to keep Windows 7. My device manager is showing standard graphics card but I don't think that is what is in it. Could someone tell me what is in this computer and where to get drivers?  Or let me know if I should put XP back in and what drivers I need.  HELP!!!!  Also, when on the internet I can't see the whole web page. Makes it hard to play some games.  I have been trying to fix this mess for the last two weeks. Is there a program I can run that will tell me exactly what is installed in this monster??

i Have HP TX 1000  It works on External Monitor Fine but when i turn on computer without external Monitor it shows only white screen no more display but it boots upto Windows Home screen Came. i also tried P L O K I but it didnt works.

Have same problem as you. (Black screen), and:

 

Now in Windows 10 Pro my graphic card is HD 5000, app catalist have error and in must be closed. AMD and Hp dont have drivers for this card!

 

Sick!! Becouse this is special card not for game but 3d graphics (im engineer and work in CAD/CAM).

 

For example performance in Siemenx NX9 is much worst in Windows 10 than Windows 7!!!

 

So for now Windows 7 is better than Windows 10 for us...

Hello! what should I do when the brightness of my screen is changing itself, when i open a picture with white background the level of brightness is growing, but with a dark background the brightness is getting lower.

Did someone had this issue, my laptop time to time hungs, it looks like LCD panel or video card and my pinned shorcuts are creating lanes on the screen (attached photo) - it hungs for 1 minute some times 2-5 secods and time to time and it repeats. My laptop is still covered by warranty. I have updated all up to date everything what i can through HP Support assistant. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have been facing quite a problem in installing the drivers in my pc.

 

My graphics driver is not showing and as well my youcam stopped showing error as,,,"you don't have the compatible vga hardware or driver to run youcam".

 

For graphics driver I have installed AMD/Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver 

File name: sp71254.exe

Release details

Released: Apr 27, 2015

Version 14.502.1011.0 Rev.A

 

But after installation also, it is showing as an error in device manager.

Should I install Intel graphics driver also with it.

 

Some more errors like Network controller, unknown devices , unknown devices errors are showing in device manager.

What should I do now? Please help..
