After upgrading to Windows 10 the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 series stopped working, although the Device manager says that the best driver is installed and the device is working properly. Please help.

Black screen when attempting to boot
After installing Windows 10 on my laptop (HP 15 TS Notebook PC), on initial startup of the device, everything seems to run as normal (power light is visible), but then the screen goes black a few seconds later before login (power light still visible). My solution to this is: press the power button (power light turns off), press the power button second time, and then the screen turns on showing the logging in screen (not a complete restart of the initial device screen).
Advice wanted to prevent the need of doing this.
Note: Microsoft suggested:-
[updating the Display Adapter drivers check if it works for you.
Follow the steps to update the Display driver:
- Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
- Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
- Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
- Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.
- Restart the computer after its updated and verify]
The driver software for the device was up to date.

Webcam not detected on HP Stream 13 Touchscreen after Windows 10 update
I can no longer use the built-in webcam after upgrading to Windows 10. I installed and ran HP Support Assistant but that did not fix the problem. The model number is 13-c002dx.
Where can I get the webcam driver? I tried searching for the latest webcam drivers from HP but none can be found.

no audio output devise install after windows 10 install
I install windows 10, now I dont have no sound at all. Only thing it says is No Audio output devise installed. I tryed using hp troublingshooting but it dont do any to help me. Thanks Pat

Will not power on.
I try to power my system on and nothing happens. No hard drive light. Tried to use another adapter and no success there either. I do know it is still under warranty. So I'm thinking that may be the simplest way to solve this.

Stream 11-d011wm black screen
Got a Steam 11 and the screen just went black. Will not shut down so drained the battery. Plugged it in and it started to boot and the HP logo appeared for 5 seconds and it went blank

My laptop screen flickers black!!
Hi, well im new in thos forums, and i wanted to make a post about my problem here.
My laptop is an envy-15, it had win 8.1 (win 10 at the moment), the problem is that my screen flickers black for about a second and then comes back, the computer wont go off, the screen just goes black for a sec and then is back again like anthing happened. This happens more when im playing something, i normally play dota 2 and it happens there, not always some times happens a lot, sometimes just a few times per game. Also happened when i was in browser, just googling stuff, happened twice like that, also only happens when is connected to the energy, when is flickering too hard i just disconect the cable and wont happen anymore.
I still have warranty and i actually sent my laptop there but they gave it back exactly the same, still happens, they already made me reboot my computer, i erased everything, i even installed win 10 hoping it will fix something...
Im sorry for my english, and well thanks for the help you can bring me.
I have an nvidia geforce 840m, 8 ram, core i7, it has like 7 months, and never, never happened before its new from this month, and ive played a lot of dota 2 in these 6 months.

Can not play high graphics game
In windows 8.1 play high graphics game like Gta iv. But when i update to windows 10 i cant play this game. my all drivers are up to date. I download driver software from hp. But it not working. Then i install them through windows update. But still not working. I have two graphics card Intel Hd 4000 and Amd 8750M. I also try download them to intel and amd website.my chipset driver is also update. I also try some driver booster software to find any other update.
i make clean install of windows 10.
main problem is Approx. Total momery is not increasing. In intel 1792MB and Amd 2979MB(find run dxdiag).
Now tell me what can i do?

Windows 10 Brigthness loss of function
Does anyone know the reason brigthness control has vanished from my PC altogether following the update to windows 10? It is stuck at 100%. There's literally no mention of brigthness anywhere within the system. If I search and click on 'Adjust screen brigthness', nothing opens up. I can click from the settings hub onto mobility settings and slide the brigthness but nothing changes. When I click on the icon above the bar, which takes me to the power settings, there's no mention of brigthness control anymore.
I mean, I've updated all the drives. I've rolled back the drivers and allowed the system to update them naturally. I've restarted the system dozens of times. It's been this way since I switched. I don't want to go back to windows seven. I bought this pc in my infinte stupidity in 2012. Worst decision I think I've ever made. Seriously. I mean, this POS cost over 2500. I literally cannot tilt it without the system shutting off. The envy is the worst laptop of all time. Precisely because of the cost. And now no matter what I try it seems I'm destined to **bleep**ing burnt retinas, ontop of the burnt ball-sack and broken fists from all the table pounding this worthless machine instigates.
Tangent over. What the heck do I do here. No one in their right mind would ever want brightness stuck at 100% all day. I'm with the every-single-other-person-who-bought-this-**bleep**ty-machine: never choosing hp again.

Black screen and scrambled graphics output
Hi,
I have a HP Compaq 8510p notebook with a screen that suddenly stopped working. I tried to do both system recovery and a clean backup to get it up and running again, but the screen still fails. There is no vague image in the background, and when i use an external monitor (VGA or HDMI), i get a scrambled image which makes it pretty unreadable.
I recently started the laptop again, and the screen worked again with a normal display on my own laptop. I installed a number of updates, restarted a few times, and it kept working well, unless the screen went dark after a while. The image wouldn't come back and i had pull the plugg to shut it down again. After this, it kept working normally.
Now, after 1 week, i tried to install it further (after a normal shutdown) and i have the exact same problem again. I have no display on my screen, and the output on an external monitor is scrambled, as seen in the pictures below. And worst of all, i have a BSOD that i can't read. I tried to go back to an older recovery point (not the last, but the one before that) but i still can't do a normal boot. I tried to install a new driver in safe mode, but the installation keeps getting interrupted.

HP Envy 14t-1200 CTO hdmi no longer works with Windows 10
I recently upgraded my HP Envy 14t-1200 CTO notebook to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Generally everything seems to be working fine, except that HDMI no longer works when connected to my TV or secondary monitor. I tried different cables that work just fine when my work laptop running Windows 7 64-bit is connected to the TV or monitor using HDMI.
When I go to the HP site to find software and driver updates for my notebook model, I get the note that Windows 10 Updates will take care of all that.
Is anyone else having this issue? How do I go about troubleshooting?
Any help is much appreciated.

My screen is black but on
So i dropped my computer several days ago and it still worked perfectly fine after that but when i updated quicktime and adope everytime my computer sleeps it doesn't wake up. The screen is black but i can hear it and i tried draining the battery and it worked once but once it went to sleep i couln't get the screen to work. The cap lock light keeps flashing but other than that nothing is happnening.

i have a HP SPLIT x2 and the laptop is not cutting on and this is a recurring problem. Now it is not cutting on at all and I seriously need it to work and yes it is charged. is there anything that can be done for this problem? I seriously need my computer to turn on.

the button bright doesn't work
when I upgrade to windows 10..the screen brightness still constant when I press the button light for less the brightness or upgrade it...so I don't know what's the matter ???
