Sir, my laptop has got a black spot on the LCD display for which I raised a case through HP support. I have Accidental Damage Protection expiring on 24 October 2017 under which this problem should be sorted without charges. The service center tells me this is not covered in the STANDARD WARRANTY. HP support (online and offline) tell me this problem can be sorted under ADP. The service center is not considering ADP as an option and are asking me to pay for a new LCD if I want to get it repaired. Somehow the HP support is not able to communicate to the service center about my ADP cover. 

Please help.

Hi,

 

I just baught a new battery for my laptop and when I first turned it on it woked like a charm, no issues. Then it sat for a day and when I went to turn it on all I get is a black screen, however I can hear it start running. The only lights I see are the mute (F11) and the wireless (F12) they are not flashes. I have tried the reset, unplugging it removing the battery and pushing the start button for 1min, plugging it back in and still nothing, what am I doing wrong or what else can I try?

Hi,

I have downloaded all driver from HP site and installed in my laptop except Driver-Graphics-AMD(AMD/Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver). When I click on the download button to download this driver, its redirecting to another page to select my country. So how can I find and download AMD/Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver. I am using Windows 7(64 bit). Please give me link of driver required for me.

I am having issues after installing the driver from HP website for my graphics driver (amd 7690m XT) it won't boot to normal mode, it only stays on windows logo. System can boot to safe mode, and if I delete the graphics driver, it will boot normally using the standard VGA driver.

I went to AMD Support and downloaded auto detect software, the software is detecting AMD Radeon 6700M series, so I still downloaded it and installed it to my computer, but after restarting the system, I have a yellow exclamation mark  on AMD Radeon 6700M series. 

Can you give me the driver for this laptop?

I own HP Pavilion G6 1202tx with ATI RADEON 6470M HD graphics. Earlier I ised to playthe games like Call Of Duty: 1,2,3,4 which had high requirements with ease but now I have trouble playing games with low requirements( even less than my system properties) like Call Of Duty: World at War, Counter Strike 1.6 (sometime it freezes for 1 second) and other games. Please help me what do I do? I don't know whether there is a problem with my graphic card but my cooling fan isn't working. I am using cooling pad for that. Is it my graphic card or increasing temp. of laptop that causes problem using my pc or playing games. Please Help me

This PC only has an HDMI port, so i bought this adapter to connect to the VGA display of my Desktop Computer. It works just fine.

I've gone on to connect to a much more advanced display scene, a club scene. The club uses this converter to send signal to the many screens.

This converter is also VGA based so by my little knowledge I assumed it would work just fine. I thought wrong. When using this two mediums, the laptop does not sense any external display, unlike when using the HDMI-VGA adapter from my laptop directly to the VGA display. I have to mention, just incase, this PC has a 3200x1800 resolution, but I had to tone it down to 1600x900 for several programs to have a visible font and icon size, something near impossible while at the recommended 3200x1800.

Any help whatsoever will be IMMENSELY appreciated.

There are some unrealistic colors in my display and I'm trying to fix this using HP Mobile Display Assistant 2.0. However 

I can't install this utility (sp54691) on my laptop. Error message "You must have Internet Explorer version 6.0 or greater installed in order to use this application" is shown during setup. My IE version is 11.

Is there any way to install this software?

Hello.

 

I have an HP Probook 650 G1 and really want to attach an 4k UHD monitor to it.

 

From what i can understand about the technical information, then the CPU / GPU is supporting 4K.

But when reading about this exact HP Probook, i see alot of users in several forums complaining about the performance / visual...

 

The UHD Screen i have in mind, is the Dell P2815q monitor - its only 30Hz at UHD, that should count right?

The screen will be used only as a work screen, so no Gaming, no Video / movie, etc...

The x2 has a mini HDMI, can this output anything from the laptop to a TV?

I'm wanting for example videos played on the laptop, iPlayer episodes, to be output to to the TV. Is this possible?

What about sky go content, can that be output to the TV?

When I tried to install the driver of HP Laserjet M277dw into my laptop computer with Window 7 enterprise, I consistently got the error message as "A problem occurred while prepring to install software to your system. Please restart your computer, and run this installer again. If the problem persists, please check the product support web site for your product." I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T430s.

 

Please help me get out of the error message before I decide to return the printer to the saler.

I bought the notebook HP 250 G3 J4T54EA through the online shop.  As it turned out, the display of the notebook has very poor viewing angles.  I'm shocked.  Unable to find a point of view to all colors look good.

Can I replace the display matrix for better model?  What matrix compatible with this notebook?

Everything has been fine since I purchased it a few months ago, now I cannot play anything wihtout severe drop in FPS. Everything used to run on 60, now I'm lucky to hit 15.

I am having trouble with my HDMI port. I am trying to connect my laptop to my TV and when I do it the TV says there is no signal. It used too work before when I connected the two, and the HDMI cord is fine because I have connected another laptop and my gaming system to the tv just fine wiith the cord. Help lease.

Dear Sir/Mam.

 

My laptop is HP pavilion 15-E024TU, Windows 8.1

 

The laptop is under warranty of 3 years including one year accidental damage protection.

I paid in advance for extended warranty. Now it is running under second year of warranty and

Laptop's display is troubling (one line is there in the normal display).

 

I filed a complaint at the customer care my case number is 4756194446.

Engineer visited and told that DISPLAY will be replaced. Instead of directly getting the display replaced I am facing another problem from your side that, CT. NUMBER DIDN'T MATCH.

 

After updating the case I got the reply that

"As per shared snapshot CT CCQHV03K65D4VK

As per LEGO Tool CT CCQHV03K65DFQB

CT Mismatching Approval Code: A08

While reverse tracking we found the SL 5CD33565W1 and this is under OOW. Hence cannot be considered."

 

But how can it be possible??? I haven’t change my display yet. This is the first time that I am facing any problem regarding my laptop and as per you people CT no. is mismatching. So please take this into your account that fault is from your side not mine. Even reverse tracking is showing serial number of other laptop as per your response.

Please rectify your mistake as early as possible because it is urgent for me.
