Hi i accedintly deleted all of ati folders in my pc and reinstalled the new amd for the driver
and lost switchable grphics options in my laptop

Is Upgrade HD + screen possible on My 9470m folio ?

anyone can help advise if they know if i am having a 9470m C6Z62UTR#ABA folio elitebook . now my hd 1366x768 start showing pixelling hueing problems intermittently , i had to shift tilt the screen then it will temporary be alright bad to normal again. i suspect screen spoil - can someone tell me if wish to change the screen can i upgarde to a full hd+ 1600x900 screen . if it is possible to upgarde my screen ? so what part i need to change ? if someone know which part number i can order? i ask local hp dealer they dont seems to know .

Cannot view video from USB. Sound working howevr screen stays black.
Hi, I've plugged in a USB which contains videos however when trying to play them the sound is working fine butthe screen is black. I'm just trying to watch them on Xvid as it is the default. Can someone please help me to tell me how to watch them... I'm not very computer savy..

Flickering black screen on start up with mouse pointer
Suddely on restarting after uninstalling a software, laptop stucks on black screen. I guess it flicker as it shows flickering ethernet/wifi symbol and mouse pointer too. I don't know how to tackle the issue. As I tried all the available solutions on internet to go in safe mode.
Please help soon.

Hi I have HP Elitebook 8460p Notebook Pc , AM facing a problem some time my Disply are flickering , please help me i have see this problem after the full boot of my system never seen it in startup time , i see this Flickring on Windows 7 , Windows 8.1 Pro or Enterprise and also on Windows 10 , It means mostly on Windows , And i have also anlyzie that this problem are mostly on Elitebook i have some friend have same problme .So if you have good suggestion please tell me.

Auto deactivate dedicated GPU
How do i set up the dedicated GPU to start only when the laptop needs more graphic power?
Last night happened something like this and my laptop was very chill during web browsing or watching a movie. It stayed at 35 degree celsius (95 f) and the SpeedFan program showed me that the dedicated GPU is deactivated and it automatically turned on when a entered a game and deactivate after I close it. But today, it doesn't happen the same. My laptop has 68 degrees (154 f) and the fan's speed is pretty high. It might be a noob question, but it's my first laptop and I only have it fore a few days.
(i'm not a native english speaker, so sorry for my eventualy mistakes)

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver Problem
Hi 
Okay so I play a game called "The Sims 4", and if any of you are familiar with it then you know what I am talking about when I say I am testing mods out. I was doing this for a couple hours and came across some bad mods, so I delete them. Well I put a few more mods in my game and went in, everything seemed fine, then got out. When I went to go back in an error message came up saying "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware." I then proceeded into my game which did not work. So I came onto this site to update my driver and downloaded the "AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver". There was two options both the same name and same description one was a few megabite larger. After then I restarted my computer tried my game out and it still did not work. I then took out the mods I put into my game right before this all went haywire, and my game worked....BUT VERYYYY LAGGY! I was so frustrated with this that I shut down my computer hoping a miricle would happen next time I turned it on....only to turn it on this morning and that SAME error message came up! SO NOW WHAT? How to I unistall the graphics driver I downloaded (becuase I think its making my game laggy and it did not solve the initial problem.

recently i have updated my graphic card to the latest driver but right now my gpu doesnt work properly and im cant open my amd control centre..it keep saying ccc aplication host stopped working..so i just uninstall the driver and use the windows adapter display..my gpu is r7m360 i hope you all can help me

Hp Elitebook 8460p screen flickers
Hi,
I bought my elitebook 8460p a few months ago. Before everything was fine. Last month I had a problem with my Hard disk which became very slow. I changed my hard drive with a new one and installed windows 8.1 enterprise.
After updating windows and installing drivers I found that my screen resolution was not changable. Then I downloaded a driver for Intel HD 3000 which I have it in my laptop. I became happy after seeing that my screen icons look changed and it was looking nice.
Later I saw that my screen flickers after some time. I updated driver and roll backed too. Uninstalled and installed it again. Reinstalled the windows but it didn't fix the problem.
Please guys help me fix this issue. I'll be grateful to you.

display goes black randomly
I purchased the notebook barely 16 days ago, and after a few days I noticed that the display goes black for a second or two randomly i.e it doesn't happen while holding the notebook in any certain way or something. The dislay goes black anywhere while playing games, music, videos or simply anytime. Also now there's some flickering in the lower part of the display. It happens with no approx time gap.
I asked HP's Chat Support to help me out of this, they tried to uninstall and have a clean install of display drivers, that didnt work.
Then they said they'll assign the nearest Physical service centre for an onsite visit and that some one will contact me, but waiting since almost 4-5 days this didnt happen. For the past two days I regularly ask HP's Support team about the promised visit but they keep on saying that today you'll recieve a call positively.
The problem has escalated to such an extent that it interferes with my studies, work and daily use. This all has cost me alot of time and money and it's all due to your faulty product and carelessness. I would like you to help me in this regard, asap, if it is at all possible for you !!
Edit : Before you ask, everything's updated to it's latest version. and I don't have an external Monitor.

Black screen of death
Whenever i turn my laptop on everything comes on the lights, i can hear the fans, etc. Everything comes on except for the monitor. The battery method worked for the first few days it was happening, but that method is not working anymore. Solutions???
