I am trying to mirror my HP Laptop with Sony Bravia 50W800b. I can mirror Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Samsung Galaxy E7 with My LED Tv.I am Following instructions given on:

But when i try to connect, On TV it says "Trying to mirror." Then after some time it says "failed to mirror."
Please Help...
A few details:
3 months of casual use.
3 months with this ocassional problem
Never crashed or whatever....
Can't find a pattern to reproduce the problem.
Power on the notebook, no problem while booting, but this is the image on the logon.
The only way to back to normality, is turning off the display pressing the power button, and pressing again to turn it on.
Any idea?

I purchased my HP 8.1 about 18 months ago. The screen brightness has been fine before now. It is not an 8.1 update.
Within the last week, I've noticed that the screen is not nearly as bright as before.
I connected my laptop to a new video projector and it works fine. When I tried to reconect the laptop to other old video projectors, with which it worked fine before, it does not work anymore (when I plug the VGA cable in to the laptop the resolution of the laptop is decreased but the projector does not project anythink). I tried Fn+F4 combination but nothing happened. The old video projectors works fine with other laptopos. Any suggestions?
My cd/dvd RW+ drive will recognize and play music cd's. In Windows Media Player it will recognize the DVD as if a music cd but will not play and has the error message that there is not enough memory. In HP Media Smart DVD it opens and spins and then says 'No disc loaded in the drive.' All troublshooting says the drive is working fine. Is there a fix for this problem? How would I know if it is a damaged optical drive?
Intermittently, once the laptop went into sleep mode I couldn't get it to awaken. I had to hold the power switch down and then repower it for it to come back on. I called the tech at Eluctronics and after trying a number of things he gave up. What I did on my own was change the power management to "High Performance," all the sleep settings to "never" and the Lid so that it didn't put the computer to sleep. I have thus eliminated the nuisance factor.
I can get away with this because 98% of the time I leave my laptop plugged in, and when I do use it on battery I never come close to depleting it.
I just received the laptop last Thursday, 3-19-15, and suspect the fact that I'm using Windows 7 and had to download a huge number of updates. Doing that caused one other problem. It eliminated the tab allowing me to turn off the touchpad when I was using the mouse. The Eluctronics tech helped me with that by sending me the latest driver. I mention this already-solved-problem to suggest that perhaps some Windows 7 update didn't install properly, and my sleep-mode problem might have a similar cause.
I looked at some notes on similar problems on other laptops but never saw any "solutions" I might try -- other than eliminating the sleep option and substituting hibernation. If i have to revisit this problem for some reason I'll try that possible solution.

I've just gotten a refurbished Pavilion 17.3' laptop with Windows 8.1 preinstalled. When I'm in the main window, the screen flashes briefly several times a minute. Except for the momentary blanking, the display is correct. I've also installed kubuntu Linux as a dual boot, and Kubuntu shows no sign of this problem. Since the problem showed up before I installed Kubuntu, I know Kubuntu isn't the cause of it.
I tried downloading and installing a replacement video driver via the HP website, but that didn't make any difference. But it did reveal another puzzle. The webside lists 3 different video drivers, but they all have the same version number, the same date, and the same description (but not the same size). They are found at:
Why are they different? And which is the correct one for my computer?
Just purchased this HP Evny x360 15.6 2 and 1 laptop 3 days ago. Immediately noticed that the display has very visible vertical lines across the enitre display. This is especially visible with a white or lighter color background. Want to keep this laptop as I feel it would serve my needs as far as what I want to use it for. These vertical lines are very distracting and I would like to know if there is a solution or setting that I should be aware of. Again this laptop was purchased three days prior to todays date 3/24/2015. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
First experienced a green screen with purple vertical lines randomly about, and now the top half of my screen is completely gray. Variations of gray, light gray to a almost cool black.
I haven't hit the laptop up against anything, this is strictly a home laptop so it hasn't gone in my bag and banged about at all, and I have not dropped it at all. Just a home laptop where it is on a cooling pad on a desk and hardly moved away from there, I don't know whats caused it. I have insurance on this, so can this be fixed? Or do I have to send it in for help?
How can I make Cyberlink disappear from my desktop and every document I open, every webpage is visit? I am constantly moving it around to get it out of the way. It is so annoying that I will delete it if I can't get it to hide.

Recently I updated the driver of my graphics card. Earlier it was showing my graphics to be AMD HD 6490M series but after update it shows graphics to be AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series. And I did theupdate from official AMD website.
Everything works fine except that when I close the lid so as to send the laptop to sleep and then, when I re-open the lid I get a black screen and only way to get rid of it is to force close the laptop using the power key.
Once I faced the problem I reverted back to the graphics driver that is provided in HP support site. In the original driver this problem is solved but I face another problem. After switching on the laptop and working for about 5-10 minutes I get an error message stating - "Catalyst Control Center has stopped working".
Kindly someone help me. And please don't suggest me to do factory reset. 
Its very difficult to reinstall all the sftwares that I have.
i power it off but when i wake up in the nest day and power it on again it will not post again.
I have try removing the battery and take the board to wash but still not working
the fan everything turns on but still no post. Please i will be more happy if get the solution to fix this

all the icon in my computer appears as adobe reader.when i try to open it,adobe reader opens...and displayed"either not supported or file damaged....."what to do now?
I am able to connect my laptop to the television (Sharp Aquos) and choose to have the presentation display on the laptop and tv at the same time. After 3 to 5 minutes, the setting reverts to laptop only. Not only is this annoying, but it looks unprofessional. How can I fix this so the display stays in one mode until I want it to change?
