I have HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14-b050xx and i have a problem with the touchscreen. It has been working perfectly but suddenly it stoped working. I tried everything but nothing works. I even run a recovery to the factory setting but it still didn't work. When i open the device manager i don't find anything indicating touch smart settings. Can you help me ?
The hour glass symbol with the arrowhead cursor continually blinks. Entering test doesn't work correctly.
I have hp pavilion 2000 notebook. I am using Linux Ubuntu 14.04. And a Day when i open my webcam it shows dark vidoe. Then some poeple told me to change OS then i shift to windows 8.1 and but the same problem was also there. Now i have again using Linux and my notebook webcam still shows very dark and sometimes black and white vidoe.

I have a Pavilion 15-n020ca. The camera worked ok at first. I didnt even touch it, and now its not working at all. A window pops up when I open youcam. it says
"No webcam deteted. If you are using an intergrated camera, make sure it is turned on."
cyberlink you cam is unistalled now. My laptop is in warranty right now.
I have done so much research and nothing seems to work! HELP!

i have an old HP Pavilion ze5500 CTO Notebook PC that a relative gave me.
a few days ago the cursor started malfuctioning . it would blink so fast that it would disappear. hitting a key would temporarly correct it (it;'s how i can write this post).
i scaned with avast, superantispyware and malwarebyte. they all reported no virus.
i checked the device maneger and it said there in no video contoller.
i went the the hp driver dowload site and attempted to install sp27665.exe. i got the error message: "setup was unable to find components that can be installed on you current hardware or software configuration"
isn't sp27665.exe the right driver for a Pavilion ze5500? do i have to reinstall the os or is it a hardware issue? the computer is old.

Recently, my laptop screen has been "glitching" in and out of what seems to be pixels. They're always a red color, and sometimes happen when I pull up a picture with a lot of black color to it. I haven't changed any settings recently, so I'm not quite sure about this one. I figured I could turn to the HP community to answer me. I was not able to get a screen shot of what my laptop looks like when this "pixel glitch" does happen, because the "glitch" goes away quickly sometimes. Can you see where I'm confused on this one? Can anyone help me? Maybe it's a simple solution that can easily be fixed by changing screen settings?
Also, I have tried booting it to a lower resolution, which did NOT work.
I have tried updating my PC drivers--with no prevail either.
Any suggestions? I really can not spare money to have this fixed. It's not causing issues--it's just annoying because I have red pixels on my screen. If I could, I would try to take a photo of the issue, but every time I do, the pixels seem to not show up in the photos. Who knows. Maybe I'll attempt to take a picture with my phone to show you guys what's going on. Even with that, I can't promise a high-quality picture.

I am having issues on a Dv7-6135Dx with my AMd 6490M driver. I have installed the driver. Now there has been issues on the installation where is says that there is an error. Also instead of using the the AMD video driver it usses the intel HD driver. I want to know if anybody knows of a solutino. I had to reinstall the Windows due to issues and this issues just came up. I am a gamer and before this reinstall i was doing good with graphics but now the Intel driver does let me play games with higher resolution because if cant handle it.
Today , I had my HP Pavilion 15 Notebook, which I bought last year, sitting on my lap in bed doing homework. I leaned to grap a paper, and it slid off my lap onto the floor. I have attached an image of the display. How much will it cost me to fix it?

Windows cant see 2nd video driver ( Radeon HD 7670M ) and i cant install driver because "catalyst" stopped by windows, when analysing graphic videocard, every application from amd.com stopped by windows. i try to install video driver from HP.com and get same problem.

I have an HP Pavilion m6-1035dx with an AMD A10 4600 apu with integrated Radeon 7660g graphics. I have had an ongoing problem where at any point when watching a video (youtube, twitch, even a DVD), the screen will freeze and go black for several seconds. It then recovers and I get a message saying the Display Driver has successfully recovered from timeout. Upon attempting to resume any video or start a new one I get a blue screen saying the AMD Display Driver did not recover successfully. I have tried multiple times to uninstall and reinstall the drivers to no avail. I have installed AMD's latest drivers (14.12) that were released today (12/9/14) and the problem persists. This has been very frustrating and I've been considering a new laptop because. I appreciate any help I could get.

I have HP Pavilion 2000 NoteBook with Linux UBUNTU 14.04 OS. Before tha I was using Windows. In both Os I found that my Webcam is not working well now. The video is sometime so much dark or black and white. I have read on different fourm that by uninstalling and reinstalling the driver will solve the issue. I have tried all these possible solution but it didn't work for me. That's why i am writing to you. Previously i also had post a message about my problem but no response on that from your side. That's why i am writing a duplicate with some more description.

I dont get response after that. Making several followups, i got a mail on NOV19th with the quotation and they asked to send approval, i replied with the approval on the same day.
There is no response from your team after that, making several calls from then i finally spoke to your person on 01-Dec-2014, i got a reply from him stating that there is a problem in mother board, and it needs to be change. And they confirmed they dont charge anything for the mother board as it covers under warranty.
I am waiting for more than 50 days to get my laptop back, but still there is no response from your team. I called them today and said "i will not take my laptop back, and i will escalate the same to your superiors" . Kindly do the needful.

I just set up a Probook 450 G2 which is to be used with a 24" external monitor (BenQ GL2450HM).
The display comes through on the external monitor but I'm having a problem with resolutions.
The laptop spec says it should support 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz but it doesn't offer this resolution when connected to the monitor.
Can anyone confirm that this resolution is possible, and if so how to get it to come up in the screen resolution options?
