I'm having a big issue of blurry text with Office 2013 on windows 7 on my Elitenotebook 840
All the text looks blurry.
I've tried all the suggestion already found on the net
-Disabled Hardware Acceleration
-Set Cleartype (it does not work with office 2013. changes are not applied to mail or word content, just on the MS menus)
-Reinstalled video driver
-Applied some microsoft patches for this issue
Nothing of this solved.
I've read around in the web that this could be a problem with the integrated GPU of the notebook
A friend of mine has a Lenovo with exactly my configuration (even the same screen resolution) and it works just fine.
On my display the text is so blurry sometimes I can't even read it
Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

When I turn on the laptop, the screen automatically goes white, I try to press keys on the keyboard but nothing have worked. Tried to unplug charger and take battery off and press power button for a few seconds, but that havent worked either... PLEASE HELP

I was playing on my laptop ,running off battery power and realized that my battery strength was down to 10 percent and proceeded to plug my laptop into the charging cord,and started charging. After,approximately 3 hours, I checked my battery strength and it was at 98 percent. I then tried to log back on and noticed that while my charging cord was plugged into my laptop,my screen was really dim,but if I unplugged my cord,it returned to a brighter screen. Can you please tell me what I can do to correct the problem? Thank You!!!!

The screen on my laptop semms to have been reduced in width with a black section at the right side of the screen. The full screen seems to be there it is just one inch less width than there should be. I have not been able to get it back to full size and would appreciate any suggestions on how to correct the problem.
I have a new HP Chromebook 14, but the font used for the screen is really poor. I also have the old style HP Chromebook 14 and the display on that is crystal clear. I have screen shots of both of them and the old Chromebook screenshot on the new chromebook still looks clear. So it's not an issue with the screen hardware, it's a problem with something else. Any ideas?
The new chromebook also seems to be much less responsive. The old chromebook responds immediately to typing even when we have 5 users logged in all with 10 tabs open. But with the new one we need to keep everyone logged out all of the time. Kind of negates the usefulness of it. Again any suggestions here would be very welcome.

Hello, I am trying to get this Probook 6570b to recognise two different docking profiles.
It has Windows 7 Pro
When I am at work, I dock to two widescreen Monitors with the laptop on the right side, and the left monitor as the main display.
When I am at home (I often work from home) I have two 20" (square) monitors, with the laptop in between them, and the laptop display is the main screen.
What I do, it put the laptop in sleep mode when I leave the office, and then sit it in the dock at home and wake it up. (and vice verce)
This has been working great with my previous Dell E6400 series laptop, but with this HP ProBook I have the following problem:
When I wake it up in the dock at home, after putting it to sleep before undocking at work, it doesn't recognise that the hardware or hardware profile has changed and it should swap to the different configuration.
I seem to have to reboot it, to get it to recognise it is in the different environment, and then I lose all the stuff I was working on (or have to close everything, and then try to remember everything I had open after a reboot, etc... etc...) This is very much a pain, when it was working so well with the Dell laptop.
Can someone please help me figure out how to get this working with this HP laptop?
If not I am tempted to tell my desktop team at work that they can keep this thing, and I'll go back to the older Dell laptop that isn't as fast and a smaller harddrive etc...

My laptop is Pavilion DV9200 CTO Japan Model RF312AV-ABIE 2007 year. I had try to use windows XP (32&64) windows Vista, windows 7. when 2011 installed dual OS. its get normal. but suddenly stop and get blank monitor. I tried to re install the OS and get OK. after that the monitor only show 1/3 part upper side of image in whole monitor. image was strech into lower end of screen. now monitor only show black. windows (XP, Vista, 7) can start when no VGA Card driver not installed.

I purchased an HP ENVY m6-n012dx Notebook PC from bestbuy this year in the month of June. The problem I am facing with the laptop is, everytime I restart or switch off-switch-on the system, the laptop appears to be running but the screen remains blank. Upon retarting or switching on, the power light comes up, wifi led glows, fan appears to be running but then the display remain blank.
If I leave the laptop and do nothing and wait for the battery to completely dry out and then restart the laptop by giving power supply, then it works fine.
I ahve tried suggestions like doing hard resent but nothing works.
Any suggestions on what could possibly be wrong with the laptop?

I can't update driver for videocard 6770M on hpdv7 6b52er notebook. The lastest driver from amd (14.9) doesn't work(system doesn't determine videocard, i have low resolution and...) . Here i found only old driver version. So i can't use some programm and games wich need the last driver.
Please help me on how do I activate my touchscreen on HP pavilion touchsmart 14-b173cl . The mouse works but touchscreen does.
