I have an HP G62 B13-SL laptop, with i3 350M, 4GB, an external and interchangeable Ati Radeon HD 5470 graphic card. I have this problem for 2 years now. Every smart guy in IT i asked, said that the thermal grase was "finished" and thats the reason. I changed it but still the same problem. I see something weird and i figured that when i install ATI graphic card driver , generic pnp monitor from Manage is gone. But is not just this, because of that, my monitor, laptop monitor it shuts down, i dont see anything, but windows is still go on, even i hear the sound it makes when desktop appear. Sometimes i get a bluescreen about atikmpag.sys. what can i do to it, or what cause this problem, because i dont have any choise, i run out of IT service in my town. PLEASE HELP, i`m desperate !! I cant do anything on my laptop and i need it a lot !!I have Generic Pnp Monitor from the begining, with ATI driver.

HP Envy Touchsmart m7-j010dx
I have a HP Envy Touchsmart m7-j010dx only 1 yr 2 months old, and the last time i used it the laptop told me to update bios which i did and then it said restart which i did but when i did that i got a black screen, however the power light is on, wifi is on the light on the side is on and i heard the fan and where you plug in power cord that light up as well. Does any know what it is and what should I do.?????? HELP

HP Pavilion dv6 low display brightness
Hello All,
I am using HP Pavilion dv 6 Notebook with WIN7 32bit OS. Since couple of days, I am connecting my notebook to SmartTV via HDMI cable for screen sharing.
Now I see my notebook display is not recovering when I pulled out HDMI cable. I see the screen with very low brightness.
I have updated BIOS, searched in google, did not get any help.
PS: with HDMI cable connected, it works fine.
I want to know if I can fix the problem.

hdmi no signal HPpavil. g7-1279dx windows 7 home per.
I did a HP factory restore noe i get a no signal on my hdmi the tv seraches then no signal. i show no hdmi in playback
in the sound . i loaded intel chip set to solve a ms bus problem. the hdmi did work before restore. i hop you have some

HP Pavilion laptop won't go into full screen when watching an embedded video in Chrome

dv6 pavilion fn f2 - f3 brightness hotkeys not working after formatting
Hi,
since my laptop (dv6 pavilion 7090el) had to be formatted to another copy of windows 7 (64bit), i can't manage to make hotkeys for brightness(f2-f3)/volume(f9-f10).
I tried to install/uninstall/install HP quick launch software (with all the system restarting combos possible) and the software doesn't really seem to be installed, since it only appears in the Control panel but not anywhere else.
Can someone help me here?

I have Probook 470, with Intel HD graphics 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 8750M (driver version 12.100.14.1000) graphic cards. Windows 7 - 64
In Catalyst control center, I cannot choose a graphics processor for VLC Media player (or Windows Media player) ("to ensure compatibility, this aplication is locked"). I want to use a "stronger video card"for playing video.
For otherapplications (or games)option is enabled, and everything is working properly

Can't watch movies / videos on this laptop
Hello,
My computer won't play movies from other website such as Hula or Investigation Discovery Chanel. All I get is a black screen. Sometimes a commerical will play but keeps stopping and you have to pause it and then hit play a few time to complete the commerical. Also most games I can't play. I have tried the compantity mode but still won't load games. Sometimes it says my shockwave needs updating but when I try it says it is already up to date.

Monitor stops and says no signal for no reason
My monitor sometimes will not work for nor reason. Been happening evey other weeek it seems. I then shut the compurt off and on and it starts up. When it does not workl it tells me no signal detected. It's a21 inch monitor and an HP Pavillion tower less than 1 year old . Windows 7.

HP15-r074tu - Graphics Card Driver Needed
Hi,
HI have HP 15-r074tu - with DOS..
I have installed Win 7 Home premium - 64 Bit.
Please note that this is the first time I am tring to install the drivers as the Laptop was bought - 25th OCT 2014 with Dos.
I have Few issues
1. I have Tried installing the following
Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver
Version - 10.18.10.3408
But it says that " it does not meet minimum requirments" and the driver does not install..! - I do not have any special graphic card on this its just the plain intel Graphics
Can you please share the correct Graphics card Driver..

2. In my keyboard - none of the special functions work - even after pressing Fn (or) without pressing
Basic mode of the keyboard is ok.. (Unable to reduce the brightness, unable to mute or increase or reduce volume..)
- Do I need install any keyboard drivers - Currently it says "ps2 keyboard" in driver manager..
- Do I need to install the touch pad software to solve this?
- or is this because of Graphics card driver missing..?

3. lastly wireless, blue tooth and PCI drivers - not to be found in the HP Site..
So I tried a old software for blue tooth... but the Wireless radio button is off/Amber and unable to turn back on due to above mentioned keyboard issue..

Hi,
I have a HP DV7 6151sd notebook with a intel(R) Core (TM) i7-2630QM CPU 2.00GHz card. The maximum resolution is 1600x900. I'm planning to purchase two to three external monitors (with VGA connections) and connect them to the notebook bij a VGA splitter (König electronic); the splitter delivers a maximum resolution of 1900x1200.
Is it possible to achieve the resolution of 1900x1200 on the external monitors (If I set my notebook up to Extended Desktop mode)? Or will I be limited by the maximum resolution of my graphics card (1600x900)?

HP ENVY dv6t-7300 CTO Quad Edition - 635M GPU Low FPS - Heat
Hello,
I have the laptop noted in the topic title.
Windows 7 x64, fresh install, all drivers and updates installed as of 10-28-14
The problem I am having is that the GT 635m GPU is performing horribly. The Intel HD 4000 is out performing it by 4 times.
I ran GPU-Z to monitor the card while running Guild Wars 2. I get 14-19 FPS, my core clock sits around 235, memory usage is low and it is as 90-92 C temp.
I read that this model runs hot, but it seems like the GPU is being throttled due to the high temp. Aside from replacing the thermal paste, does anyone think that the card may be failing?
Is there any diagnostic tool you can run on GPU's?
