I  am working on getting drivers set up for the HP 650 G1 laptop.  I have just about everything set up and working but notice that after I image, I get an error about installing a drive.  Comparing a unit with the OEM install I noticed a couple of differences.  One was that I didn't have the Intel bluetooth 4.0 driver installed.  I can download the files and install them; however, my goal would be to access .inf files to import into Microsoft MDT.  I cannot seem to find these drivers for bluetooth.  Even downloading from Intel's site their driver for "IT Administrators" doesn't seem to give .inf files that can be imported.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

 

Edit: This would be for Win 7 64-bit.

I have a HP ENVY 17t, Intel Core i7, Windows 8.1 laptop which is around 2 months old. The touch screen has stopped working from the last one week. Please let me know the solution for this problem.

Hi guys, 

I've just upgraded my laptop HP Pavilion dv6-6b51sa from win7 64bit, to windows 8.1 64bit.

 

I've installed all the latest drivers from the HP support page, but every time the laptop starts up, I get an error message saying Catalyst control centre has stopped working.  I've tried reinstalling the drivers, enabling / disabling the switchable gfx option in the bios, neither seem to work. 

 

Ive checked in device manager, and under display adapters it lists, Radeon HD 6490M, and Intel HD Graphics 3000.

 

I never had this problem with win7, but it happens everytime i boot  up now.  I've tried right clicking the desktop and selecting "configure switchable graphics options" but nothing loads up.

 

Any ideas or advice ?

My HP Pavilion dv4 1414TX, webcam not working suddenly.OS is Windows 8. It worked for few weeks after installing Windows 8. Suddenly stopped working when checked Skype video chat.Please help me in fixing this.

Hallo

 

I have ProBook 470 g1 17-inch laptop with native resolution 1600x900 running under Windows 7 Pro 64.

I installed Intel's and AMD's video drivers downloaded from HP.

My problem is that I can't lower resolution keeping screen aspect (to 1366x768 for example). It seems like only 2 more options possible: 1024x768 and 800x600. Situation is identical for both integrated and discrete graphics.

Hi, I have a HP ENVY 15t (Brand new, just got it one day ago)  with Windows 8.1 Pro Product # G0T95AV and a HP wireless TV Connect 2.0 QE389AA ABC.  I am not able to get the two item talking to each other.

 

The HP wireless TV connect works seamless with a 2 year old Dell laptop using Windows 7 Pro, but once I tried to link the HP laptop and the HP wireless TV connect, I get no connection at all.

 

I tried the manual way and changed the network setting base on a link from HP still nothing....

 

I tried using another HP laptop with Windows 8.1 Pro, no good.

 

I tried it on an Alienware running Windows 7 Pro and I was able to connect.

 

So, please help... the conclusion is it Windows 8.1 or is it the HP laptop

 

Any help is greatly apprecaited.

I have a

HP Pavilion g6-2208au Notebook PC

Model: C8B64PA

 

sometimes the display flickers and then there will be various colours showing on the screen but no display showing up. When this happens I can hear a different sort of noice coming from the laptop. I know it  is not an issue with the monitor as I have tapped the monitor at various places and it does not give any problem.

I have a Pavilion dv6, it's had some battery problems in the past (won't stay on unless its plugged in at the moment). When turned on the lights on the touchpad and keys pop on the keyboard but the screen stays blank. Not sure if anyone as any ideas, issue with the monitor?

So a few weeks ago I went to check my computer and a small section of the screen was dead and discolored. Slowly it got worse and now half of my screen is black, green, pink etc. I've heard the best way to fix this is to get a monitor but I would rather get it fixed. How can you get it fixed?

Hi, I purchased a Pavilion Touchsmart 15-n267si a couple of days ago and noticed it has Nvidia graphics but when I look at the display settings it says it is Intel. Thee is a Nvidia control panel but I can't find anywhere to change it to Nvidia being the main graphics. In device manager both Intel and Nvidia shows up.

 

How can I change it to set Nvidia as the default? I have a 23" Samsung LED screen connected with a HDMI cable and the screen is not nearly as clear as it was with my previous laptop.

i installed webcam driver icon was on the list of all programmes

 

while clicking the icon the web cam not working and showing a message details as follows

 

 

YOU DO NOT HAVE THE  COMPITABLE VGA HARDWARE OR DRIVER TO RUN HP MEDIA SMART WEBCAM

Hello,

 

Recently I've noticed that all of my games were using Intel Graphics instead of the AMD one. I've started up CCC and tried to adjust settings like I did in the past by going into Power Options>Switchable Graphics and choosing which application will use "High" settings => AMD card. But as I've tried to enter application settings CCC would just crash and close so I've decided to reinstall AMD drivers. I've downloaded latest drivers for my laptop from your support site, but during the installation there was "Install package failiture" and the driver hasn't installed. Then i found this post and followed instructions. That means I've cleared my AMD and Intel video drivers and tried to run the setup again but with no more luck and the same error. I've tried to download lower version of the driver from your site with the same result. Downloading driver from AMD site results in message about incompatibility. 

 

Now I don't have any AMD video driver :/

 

My specs are:

HP Pavilion DV7 model "A6H90EA#AKD" or "dv7-6b40ew"

Windows 7 x64 Home Premium

AMD Radeon HD 6770m 2G

Intel 2670QM

 

Thanks in advance. I'm desperate for help.

as stated the screen goes past what I can actually see on the desktop. I have tried restarting, changing the resolution, ataching another monitor, reinstalling the device drivers. None of this seems to fix the issue. 

 

I also have to note its not only the desktop but when the Mini boots the HP logo for the BIOS and other operations at the first is also cut off. So i know is issue is occuring before windows is even loaded. Anyone no of other options to try before I give up and reinstall the OS on it.

 

I am going to try and flash the BIOS but if that doesn't work anyone eles have other options they know of.

I have just realized that my Laptop does not have the NVIDIA GeFORCE Driver yet I am confused as to why was the sticker placed on my product?

 

I have Intel Core i5 and the label sticker is on my product. Assuming the sticker label on your product means you have or should have this feature wihtin your product,

 

WHY tell me I have something when I do not?

 

I tried searching for the device in Device Manger yet it does not show up. Even the GeForce installer does not work on my laptop.

 

Is this an error on part of the Manufacturer or is this an error of mine?

i have hp pavilion sleekbook windows 8. my web cam is not working i have installed cyberlink youcam driver but still its not working i am not able to video chat on skype, facebook etc

i am able to see other person on video chat but that person is not see me.

please help me to solve this issue.
