I have a hp dv 3 z 1000 cto entertainment pc and the screen is always flickering. I called microsoft but they told me that it is a hardware problem. Can someone give me tips how I can solve this problem?

An Year is passed; if i install the drivers directly from AMD the switchable graphics on catalyst control center are gone and i'm stuck with the Intel Graphics.
How do i enable switchable graphics?
Please don't tell me to revert to windows 8 o to buy another notebook..

Touchscreen on Steroids
Novice here. The touchscreen on my HP Split 13x2 (13-M210dx) jumps all over the place. Is it supposed to jump between screens and apps/program simply when touching approximating the OUTER corners of the touchscreen? I'm referring to the black, non-image portion of screen. Also, when I undock and detach the screen, it is unusable as it flips between screens as soon as it is touched. If you are careful to AVOID touching the glass screen itself and ONLY touch the metal frame (for example, scooting it barely across the surface it is laying on), it jumps between different screens. As an experiment for this message, I just touched the lower corners of screen's metal frame (NOT NOT NOT the glass screen itself), and it moved from one page to another from the search page it was on in firefox, it flipped quickly between two other screens - so fast that I can only see the last one it ended up with - an app it opened on its own - a tile for the start screen where you can input owner info for display on start screen. Any way to use this thing efficiently as a tablet - how to hold the darn thing so it doesn't jump??? It has already been to the factory and back for display issue - the images were jumping up and down on the screen so you couldn't make it out - only get seizures if you' re epileptic . LOL.
Help line is no help - subtleties in language seems to be a big barrier.

How do I upgrade from Intel HD Fraphics 4600 to Nvidea GFore GT 740M ?
Hey my laptop HP Envy 15t-j100 Quad Edition CTO notesbook display driver shows its Intel HD Graphics 4600, where as the sticker on top shows it should be Nvidea GForce GT 740 M; How do I update my driver for NVidea? I already tried the driver from this support website but that didnt help.
I have Windows8.1 o/s with 12GB RAM.

HP 2000 - 2d27c1 trying to attach to a projector
I tryed hooking my laptop to an Optoma projector today, and when I plug in the VGA cable to the VGA port on my computer, my screen would begin cycling through being on, then off, then on, then off, etc. The only way to stop it would be to unplug the cable. Any ideas why this would be happening, and how to stop it?

AMD Radeon HD 8670M Install Prblem
I got a problem with my AMD Radeon HD 8670M graphic card. As when I updated windows 8 to windows 8.1 my laptop started using his own graphic card (Intel HD Graphics 4000) wich decreased my framerate in games and that how I found out about it. After resarching the web and trying most of the things I don´t know what to do anymore. I tried many times to deinstall my driver, when i install it back again and i right click on desktop->AMD catalyst control center it says it cant start the program because there is no AMD driver software instaled or there is no AMD card there. I tried many drivers and nothing really worked. But when i check my Device-manager, there are 2 graphic cars listed, the Intel HD 4000 and the AMD 8670M.

Problem: The notebook came with windows 8 but after upgrading to windows 8.1, I have been witnessing a lot of issues like blank screens and windows tiles not responding. Recently, I get a blank screen each time I right click on a folder on my desktop and get an error message.

cant get the right graphic driver
Hi.
I've got the HP Pavilion DV6-6b19ej,
I recently got my mother board replaced under warrenty, and my harddrive was formated.
I was trying to update my graphic drivers, (for the Intel and AMD cards), and both seems to fail,
using the drivers from the HP support site, the Intel one said i do not have the minimal required hardware for this driver,
and the AMD one, both the one on the HP site and the one on the AMD site, said the driver i was installing is the wrong one.
as much as i know, the DV6-6b19ej have a card of the Radeon HD 6xxxM series, (6770M, if im not mistaken) and i also got the same link from the HP Support representative on the phone in my country.
I would really appericiate any kind of help, and i can provide any kind of screenshots needed, if at all,

dv7 3185dx- BIOS for 2 seconds, computer stays on, screen go blank
I've been looking at other posts for this problem and haven't seen one.
The screen obviously is working because it come on for the 2 seconds (tried to hook up a 2nd moniter and it has blank to.)
I changed the internal battery (CR2032)
I tried all the function keys and nothing??
The laptop is about 3 years old and used only a few times a week
I've got 6 dead HP laptops (no kidding) from over heating motherboards (parts??). This is different however.
Any advise would be great!!

my touch screen randomly stops working??
so i got this hp TouchSmart pavilion laptop about a month ago. fell in love with it but just today the touch screen stopped working so i shut the lap top, opened it, and then turned it on and the touch screen was fine. then about twenty minutes passed and the same thing happened. i've repeated this prossess 3 times now. luckly i have a warenty on my laptop just in case i need to return it. SOMEONE HELP!!

the brightness of screen fluctuates. sometime it dims and after few second it gets bright automatically. it happens continously when i work on it. it has become very difficult to work on that for longer hours.

Webcam: very high CPU utilization!
Hello! I have a probook 4535s with HD webcam. There is two version of driver made by SunplusIT in 2011 and 2012 years. The second obtained from HP official download center. But both of them works terrible.
_2012_: excellent video, but constant 100% CPU utilization, 50% -- Skype and ~50% -- "system" process. Switching off the cam during videocall leads to normalization.
_2011_: NO CPU loading, but VERY POOR video in Skype. Something like 320х240 or even less!! Whereas amcap.exe is able to show any resolution up to HD.
What to do? I've tried to update firmware -- no progress, tried to update DirectX, GPU drivers, etc. No progress.
Anybody have some ideas????????
