Red lines appeared on my laptop screens at first. After some days, the screen turned red. I powered off the laptop for a month. While, i am charging it right now, screen is normal. There are no red lines or screen turning red. Is this temporary or the issue has got solved after making the battery down?

Dual Monitor (Extended Display) Not Working
I've been trying to get an extended desktop to work with this notebook, but nothing seems to be working properly. When I connect the second monitor and set the displays to "duplicate these displays" everything works well. However, as soon I try to set the displays to "extend these displays" both screens, the built-in and external monitor, start blinking on and off. All of the latest Windows 10 and HP updates are installed including the video/graphics driver but nothing seems to allow me to setup the extended displays.
I've been told that the video/graphic drivers on HP have issues with Windows 10 but I've checked and everything here is up to date.
Need dual montiors to work properly.
Any help and a solution would be most appreciated.

Touchpad doesn't work on HP Elitebook
I've been having a consistent problem with my new HP Elitebook where the touchpad won't work. Restarting did the trick once, but it hasn't since. I uninstalled the touchpad and reinstalled from the BIOS menu as I've seen recommended in other threads here, and it seemed to do the trick. However, I did this yesterday, and here I am again with a nonfunctioning touchpad.
I did not accidentally turn off the touchpad by double tapping in the upper left corner. I made sure of that (I did it once, and since then I've been sure to check I didn't accidentally mess that up.)

Broken hinge
After opening the laptop yesterday, several small screws fell out of the screen onto the table. There was a small gap where the lid had separated from the screen. I closed the laptop, which closed fine and inspected it. The gap had shut and looked fine. When I attempted to open again, the metal hinge burst through the glass screen. Faulty hinge system has now lead to a broken screen.

HP Envy won't play video
Hello! I have been having problems with my HP Envy laptop for awhile now. Whenever I try to pull up a video, it says "video not available". I mainly use my laptop for school purposes, so I haven't needed to play any videos. But this has persisted for probably 6 months or more. I am not very laptop savvy, so I have not tried anything to fix it myself. Help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Attach 3 external Displayport monitors to hp 9480m with ultraslim dock
Hello. I have an HP 9480m elitebook with the HP Ultraslim dock and the Intel 4400HD graphics card. Specs show it will support 3 external monitors or two external with the display open.
I can easily get two external monitors working in extended mode, but the third will mirror the second.
I have a Displayport to mini-displayport from the dock to the first monitor, then then same type of cable from first to second and then second to third monitor.
When I detect monitors it only detects the first two. Third stays active, mirroring the second. I've tried restarting with the laptop display closed, and tried re-detecting to no luck.
Help?

Is there a stylus compatible to an HP Pavilion x360 - 13-u165nr ?
I want a stylus for my laptop but i don't know if there is one for it or if it is even compatible with one. I've tried the bamboo ink stylus and it only left dots on the screen everytime i tried writing with it.

Upgrade hp elitebook 840 g1 laptop screen.
Hi everyone. I recently brought a HP elitebook 840 G1 model (core i5 4300u ). Initially i was happy with it. But after i started using it i noticed that it had very very bad viewing angles. I have used HP laptops before. But this was the worst TN panel i had seen (14-inch diagonal LED-backlit HD+ anti-glare SVA flat (1600 x 900)). I was wondering whether repleacing it with (14-inch diagonal LED-backlit FHD anti-glare UWVA slim (1920 x 1080) ) would improve the viewing angles and color reproduction or is this even possible? I think that the connector is eDP 30 pin. Or a even better choice if i could use the better panels of G2 or G3 models. Would they be compatible? Thanks

2xHP EliteDisplay E273q and Docking Station type
Hello,
I have 2 screens E273q 27" connected to usb docking station HP type-c via display port both and laptop HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2. res is set to 2560x1440 and refresh 60Hz. In 90% of times screes do not wake up when swiching on/ waking laptop. My work around is to swich on and of screens which is quite annoying. At the momne I have updated all drivers graphic/bios/docking station/flash docinging satsion, changed settiings on screen eg display port to 1.1(and other settings on the way down). There are no issues on 24' screens only on 27'. Im wondering if there is an issue with power to wake up screen?

HP ZBook 14u G5 Mobile Workstation, loose laptop display
Hi, i am new to this community
I have a problem with a HP ZBook 14u G5 Mobile Workstation. It is a domain computer, placed in a dockstation.
When my collegue log's in, she can start IE, when she tries undock, and go to meeting, there is no problem.
If she starts a office program, ie excel, outlook, and undock, there is no display on laptop, when she docks again, there is no display on laptopm, but her external terminal is functioning.
I have tried updating with HPImage assistent, checked windows update, so her pc's is up to date
Do you have a clue?

video-audio mismatch
While watching live tv on browser(google chrome), there is a mismatch between audio and video. Audio comes first, then about a second later video.
Another problem is while playing youtube video, first couple of seconds there is no audio (but video goes on) and then few seconds later video-audio run synchronously.
I've tried updating audio & video driver from device manager but problem exists.

When coming off sleep display on TV comes on and off 30 secs or more
Hi I have my Envy 13 connected to my Toshiba 4k TV (LCD model 43U6763DB) via USB type c to HDMI adapter. I have used TV's as monitors for a while now as my eyesight is none to good. When I wake it up from sleep it sometimes plays up. The screen comes on on the tv then goes off again and this continues for about 30-45 secs. I have checked the connections and they seem fine. I recently solved the problem of it going to sleep when it shouldn't by following these instructions (https://appuals.com/windows-10-sleeps-after-1-4-minutes-of-inactivity) using solution 2 but this problem was already happening.

Blink screen flickering
Since I bought this laptop a blink appears from time to time on my screen, like screen flickering but just a blink. It doesn't happen on the whole screen only part of it, normally on the right hand side of the screen. I've updated the system but it keeps doing that.

Envy with Nvidia MX150 GPU, only shows activity on the Intel UHD620
I have a new Envy 17t with an Intel i7-8550U. By default this CPU has Intel UHD 620 graphics (shared VRAM). The laptop also has the GeForce MX150 GPU with 4GB dedicated VRAM. Monitoring Task Manager, it shows that the MX150 never shows any activity, just the UHD 620. Does the MX150 only come into pay when playing games? I see no options anywhere in Win10 or Nvidia options to force a change in GPU.
