HI guys,

 

I got an envy 15Z with A10-5750 + HD8750m combo as a casual gaming machine, but looks like the CPU is causing a bottleneck on the computer, so did some research and found out that i need to disable the cool n quiet option in the BIOS, so went into the BIOS and that option is nowhere to be found.

 

Is there any other way to disable it?, i now that on power option i could go full Performace specs but that doest not active the Turbo Boost on the CPU and i am stuck at 2.5GHz instead of his full potential 3.5GHz.

 

Just in case i am running AMD SYSTEM MONITOR and recording the CPU and GPU performance. CPU on heavy gaming 100% but at 2.5GHz and never did use turbo boost.

GPU 50% under heavy load

I'm using an HP Pavilion dv6 with Windows 7 and an HP USB port replicator.  Everything was working fine, now all of a sudden the laptop monitor will not come on whether or not connected to the replicator.  The external VGA monitor works fine.  When disconnected, you can see faint shadows on the laptop monitor but that's all.

I have an HP ENVY dv6t-7300 laptop.  I'd like to connect it to a 1920x2000 24" monitor. 

My laptop has a max screen resolution of 1366x768.  

A couple of questions...

1). Is an HDMI cord the best way to to connect to the monitor?
2). Will the monitor stretch the 1366 pixels to fit the 1920 pixels or will the image not fill the monitor?

(I'm not sure what video card is in the laptop).

Hi.

Just got tis notebook and got windows 7-32 bit on it but i have a problem; first the standard vieo driver isn't working in device manager sais that is not installed but when I click on it it looks installed; second I should have an amd radeon 8750m board and on device manager it doesn't apear.

 

some sugestions please.

 

note that i have downloaded all the drivers i needed from hp.com

I was wondering, with a HP Pavilion 14  C2K10UA if there was any way to change the dedicated Video RAM ( BIOS or anywhere else ) or any stuff possible to buy to upgrade it ?

Good evening, i'm Mattia, i have an HP Spectre 13 ultrabook; it has a mini display port, as macbook, so i bought a sample mini display port to vga cable to connect my ultrabook to my vga monitor 19". The problem is that the monitor receives no signal. There is no one who know wich cable should work?

Hi all, i recently downgraded my Laptop from windows 8 to windows 7 Ultimate, i have a HP ENVY 15 j05ea. So everything works perfectly but my F2 and F3 screen brightness hot keys...I have HP Quick Lauch software yet they still dont work, i was wondering if anyone new how to fix this issue?

Hello,
My notebook I just received on Christmas day just this past year is giving me troubles for the first time. I go to get on it and I power it up. The power button turns on and the WiFi button shines orange, but the screen stays blank. No activity. I hear the fans going and the power and WiFi light remain on, as well as the fan? Is it my screen? Or is it my labtop? Please help as soon as possible. Have to finish school work. Thanks you.

Screen appears to jump whenever a new object is displayed on the screen,  ie everytime I type a charactor the screen jumps.

To all that own this model, good luck renting a new Bluray like 12 Years A Slave,

 

After downloading the "CyberLink BD & 3D Advisor"

 

In the advanced section of Bluray playback results, we find:

Hardware Dual-Video Decoding Capability for h.264: None

Hardware Dual-Video Decoding Capability for MPEG-2 : None

Hardware Dual-Video Decoding Capability for VC-1 : None

 

I hope this isn't the new standard for Bluray compression thereby rendering our Bluray players useless.

 

 

This sucks, and I keep having issues with Bluetoothe and WiFi. I am considering returning my laptop!

My model is HP Pavilion dv6-7040tx Entertainment Notebook  and product number is : B8N04PA. The problem is such

 

When i start (not every time) the notebook the screen on upper right hand corner appears to be slight dim, but if i a move the lid to 100 degree/120 degree it remains the same, but if i start on keeping the angle of the screen to 90 degree it rarely flickers but no corner is dim 

i observed it for 90 degree that the problem never appears ever after working for 1 to 2 hours, the darkness is dim type i am able to see the gadget (CPU Meter) in Win7 only brightness in not uniform compared to other three corners 

Please help me regarding the same, my classmates said that i can fix up too, please send me any lins to solve it up

Good day 

 

The video drivers HP Elitebook 8530p notebook does not seem to work. It is for Windows XP. The product details that I see is PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9591. Can someone please assist me in getting the correct driver please? I've tried 3 different drivers on the HP website and it doesn't seem to solve the problem.

my product is hp pavilion g6 2136 tx 

its graphic amd 7670m hd runs gud but on the official site of amd i found ccc updats compatible with my graphics but it wont run after installing.........

my question is why hp servers do not updates for grapics of amd 7670m with newer verions of drivers:smileymad:
