After Bios update and Windows 10 update, Nvidia graphics card is not getting detected. Hence Nvidia graphics driver stopped working.
Though intel graphics card is working fine.
All drives and firmware are updated till date.
Windows 10 64bit is updated till date.

Hello, my computer camera is not working, i can open all the apps that requieres a camera and when its turn on the image is pitch black. In the Camera options of Windows everything is turned on or allowed for the Camera. The laptop comes with a HP Truevision HD Camera, currently im using windows 10 64-Bit.
I went to Device Manager and in the option of Cameras theres an instalation of a device called: SPCA2082 PC Camera I did and update and the camera still doesnt work i also Disable and Enable the device and still the camera is not working.
Also in the option of Imaging Devices theres a device called 260ci WIA Driver (USB) I tried to do a device update but it shows me the following answer The Device Cannot Start (Code 10).
I would like to point out that i dont know if this are the correct device drivers that these two options must have. So i need help to get my camera working again.
I have a huge rectangle in the middle of the screen, going all along the edges. It's a bit 'reddish', compared with the expected gray in the viewable area. Also, on closer look, I can see that the problem area has a well-pronounced 'meshy' texture. This area remains visible, whether the laptop's screen is on or off. I have a strong suspicion that it's a hardware-related problem. You can see it on the screenshot. Thoughts?
Since I bought this laptop, I have had problems with my graphics card, somehow it just won't work properly. The radeon 520 (which is my graphics card), isn't being used while I play or idle. Games are running slow, I have tried everything but I can't make it work. Things I have tried is: Installing new and older drivers, set settings for high performance gameplay etc.
I don't see anything on the screen at all. It looks to have a slight glow but nothing else. Keboard lights when totouch it etc. but nothing on the monitor. Thoughts?
This has been happening since I first got my new laptop but I was travelling and didn't find time to take it to a store to have someone check it. But now the problem has gotten a lot worse and it makes it impossible to do work.
Like I said, it has been happening since the beginning so I don't really think it is related to updates or anything like that

I was curious what the correct USB-C to HDMI adapter would be for a HP Chromebook x360 - 11-ae027nr. I tried to use a highly rated adapter off Amazon, however plugging it in produced the wrong colors on the external display. I tried several cables and several displays and the result was the same. I looked into USB-C to HDMI adapters on HP's website but my model was not listed under the compatible models. The x360 Specs show it's USB-C to be DP1.2 compatible. I am using 720p and 1080p TV/Projectors, so 4K+ isn't required.

I was thinking to purchase a 144hz monitor but I've got suggestion to not because my HDMI port wont support it.
I've looked on the internet and at some places I've found that my HDMI can support up to 120hz and on others I saw that 144hz won't be a problem at all.
My GPU is GTX 960M 4GB and I don't have any problem to handle over 200fps in the game I play. (Fortnite, CSGO, League of legends).
Would my GPU and HDMI support the 144hz monitor at all or it would be able to output only 120hz?

Hi , just got a new laptop with HD display which is a huge upgrade .
Text in programs such as autocad are now tiny, no amount of messing with the display setting has cured it and it is very annoying, as it is impossible to use Autocad or relux .
Some of the pop up screens are soo small one can't even see where to click to close the box.
I have searched the forum and not found a resolution, does anyone have any ideas?

I have a laptop where the screen works fine when you turn it on but after a few seconds, whether you're in the operating system or the BIOS, the screen goes blank and the only way to get it to come back on is to close the lid completly and then open it back up as if there is a pronlem of some sort with the close lid switch. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
as long as i plug in the charger my games works incredibly as my laptop is using nvidia graphic card but , as i unplug the charger adn my laptop works on battery it switches from nvidai to intel hd graphics, and disable nvidia which reduces the game performance incredibly. and i wont be able to play it, this issue occurs inboth windows 8.1 and windows 10. kindly guide me , how to use nvidia graphic card even when my la[top is on battery.
Hello - I have had this notebook brand new since 31 Mar 2018. UK based.
The notebook has worked perfectly until Monday 16 July 2018. Since then any time the notebook is switched on the normal HP logo and the spinning "wheel of dots" appears on the screen for 20 - 30 seconds. Once the logo disappears there is no further display showing but I can hear the fan and activity going on within the laptop itself so does not appear to be a power issue. I can tell the screen is not off as it has a hue to it (i.e. not black when it is powered off but a very dark blue almost midnight blue).
I have a standard keyboard and wireless mouse connected to the laptop as well as a seperate monitor. The seperate monitor does not detect any displays and simple powers off and says no video detected. The keyboard is working as I can switch the num lock/caps on/off and displays do light up on the keyboard.
I cannot see anything on the display of the laptop so cannot tell what (if anything) would be on the display if it were working.
I have unplugged all seperate devices and tried many re-boots but still nothing other than the HP logo for 20-30 seconds and screen going blank.
Have tried the hard reset as per the HP videos - nothing has changed.
Have used virtual assistant to see what it suggests and have tried a CMOS reset as laptop is post 2016. The CMOS ran for 20 mins or so and I could see the monitor was going from dark to less dark and back to dark but still not resolved.
I am at a loss and getting very frustrated as wasted 3-4 hours on this today when I really needed the laptop (typical when you want to use a laptop there's either a windows update or some other issue that means you just can't get on and use it!).
Any ideas/thoughts welcome :)

I downloaded pictures from my digital camera. You can see the photos on the screen. But when I go to try to pull up or transfer a file, nothing happens. It is like the "picture" file or whatever it is just turns off. I hear a beep.
What do I do to get this functioning again.

My laptop shows varying vertical bands of color across the entire screen unless I prop up the screen or hold it up at a specific angle. Any shift of the laptop makes the screen flash again, with different patterns of colors and line widths each time. It seems to help if I pull slightly forward on the upper right side of the screen and hold it, or prop it similarly.
When it first started, the screen could be fixed with a slight adjustment of the screen, but it gradually became worse until I now have to continually hold or prop the screen.
Based on some initial research, it seems that the problem might be with the LCD cable. If it is, I would love a recommendation regarding which specific replacement part I should get, and/or if there's a manual I could use to replace the part.
