Why is HP not offering the Precision Touchpad Drivers from Microsoft as an option for Spectre
Hey HP & Community,
The title pretty much sums up my question. I mean, the hack works really well, so it doesn't seem to be a hardware condition.
Is this a business decision that they might have a deal with Synaptics where they have to provide the Synaptics drivers?
Or is the whole process of offering a driver download for their products (testing compatibility and all the stuff they would have to do in legal terms, warranty, etc.) not as easy as it sounds to me?
I just can't imagine that it's just lazyness, there has got to be something. Would this move actually be a big deal?
Maybe they would have to spend money, but don't get any from, might that be a reason?
I was just wondering, because the experience is really different and much better with the precision drivers, so I'd love some insight.

Hp envy 13 Nvidia mx150 (REALLY Bad performance on nvidia graphics )
Today I just had response from HP, so denied this problem and say the. Computer don't have any problem, when clearly he was, so even in warranty HP refuse to repair the problem, so careful with companies like HP, they don't assume responsibility with problems from their computers. I'm gonna get 2 opinion from external hardware engineer and legally open claim against HP and the refusal from give assistance.

Pressure Sensitivity?
Hello, I'm looking to buy this Hp Envy x360 (https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/hp-envy-x360-15-6-2-in-1-laptop-silver-amd-ryzen-5-2500u-1tb-hdd-8gb-ram-windows-10/11558157.aspx?) model: 15-bq108ca, I've noticed that it comes with a stylus but upon further research, found out that it is not pressure sensitive, this model also is not stated in the hp support.
My question is, is there a stylus which allows pressure sensitivity? if so, which pen?
also, I heard a lot of negative reviews about this laptop, so send your opinion / reviews

True Active Pen Input
I need to know if my HP Split 13x2 Notebook Product #E8C34UA#ABA has true active pen input capabilities? If so with active stylus do I get for it? I am looking to purchase software with these requirements. If anyone can give me a quick and straightforward answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Is my computer able to detach the screen like the Microsoft Surface Book?
So I have an HP Envy Model 3165 NGW for around a few years. Then when I brought it to work today I noticed that the hinge? was a little popped out. Scared that i somehow broke it, I quickly clicked it back in. But then a few mins later, I wondered if that was actually meant to be detachable, such as the Microsoft Surface Book. So my question is, can I detach my screen from the keyboard, and have it still work? The Microsoft Surface Book has the option to detach the screen to use as if it was an iPad. So can my envy do that? Or is it only the newer models?

HP x2 210 G2 Detachable Black out then return to lock screen when tap

Good Day.
Hope you can help me with our query.
Recently, we deployed lots of hp x2 210 G2 Detachable.
However upon testing onsite, we encounter the "UNIT GOING BLACK WHEN SCREEN IS TOUCHED AND RETURNS TO LOCK SCREEN WHEN KEYBOARD IS PRESSED (NEED TO SIGN IN AGAIN)"
For what reason we do not know what is happening.
We try to set power option/sleep option to never but the issue still persist.
I dont see any hand gesture also set up on the unit to make similar to android devices that when double tap, screen goes off.
I hope any expert HP consultants here can help me with our query.

Dead Pixels on HP notebook Display
So, the screen of my HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab210tx started showing a spot of black pixels a few weeks ago it wasn't a problem then but now it has grown alot bigger (about an inch wide and a few mm in height, at upper left side of my screen). Kindly help/guide me how can i fix this issue or get it repaired as soon as possible as this notebook is part of my daily usage and i certainly cannot afford a new one. And its warranty has been expired as well. i've also noticed that some of the pixels are dark gray and some are pitch balck at the center of the affected area.

HP Zbook 17 G3 with Nvidia M500M graphics card not allowing second monitor
I have 1 monitor connected to the laptop via VGA cable. I have a second monitor connected via HDMI cable. The second monitor does not show in the display settings. I have tried the below with no results.
1. Closing the laptop lid - the second monitor still undetected.
2. Replacing both cables
3. Swapping the cables - the second monitor does work with the VGA cable.
4. Updating the NVIDIA graphics card driver
Is there something else that would fix this issue? I am using the machine for heavy 3D Design work and am struggling without the second monitor.

Half year laptop, Ant in the screen, local support ignore.
Hi All / Hp team,
I have contacted HP malaysia.
As i found out the ANT inside my screen.
The problem is, lcd screen is sealed item. how can the ANT went into it?
So, i decided to call for support. First level support refuse and said is my fault by saying i may drop it. caused hole and let ant went it. or i put the bag and bang it.
Please have a look on my laptop.
As you can see, the laptop no bend. not even has scratches at all.
So, no choice/can't answer? she passed to superior then.
after few days, i got a called from malaysia support.
She said this is my fault and i dint take care well on my laptop. maybe sugar beside or coffee and bring ant comes.
From the start till the end converstation. She is using term or laws to put this case away.
But what i concern is.. QUALITY. how can a sealed lcd able to goes it? i pointed this out. but she didn't listen at all. saying on terms of use.
If i am running a hp business, i am sure will curious why does it happened? how to prevent this happen to my client? make my next product even more better. ( in fact, HP teaching staffs to use terms/law to void warranty. I wish i say was wrong, but this is happened at malaysia support) *i purchased 2 years warrantly but system capture 1 year only.
So, she asked engineer to check it. said it's was line problem. able to replace.
After few days, she called me refuse to replace.
In the end she sent an email asked me to pay to fix it. She said will call to technical dept to counter check about engineer case and give me a call back, eventually, NO call.
2 years warranty = nothing
laptop quality = your fault
( i wish quality dept can read this message and find out why the MAGIC ANT can went into it)

HP Pavilion dv7-6153er Videocard driver problem
Hi ,Dear HP Support! I have HP Pavilion dv7-6153er. I installed windows 8 x64 Operation system. After installation windows , no working Graphics devices. Drivers are automatically updated by Microsoft İntel HD Graphics 3000 and Radeon HD 6770M. After updated Intel HD Graphics 3000 working normally but Radeon HD 6770M in Device Manager-> Display adapters appears on the exclamation mark. When i want to renew it manually, the screen darkens, computer does not perform any commands. After restarting windows returns to the base drive or Radeon HD 6770M with exclamation mark. Switchable does not work. And drivers are only Windows 7 operating systems. Please add new drivers to this link. HP notebook blank screen
Hi Forum,
I have a HP notebook pavillion DV ( year 2011).
It is not starting up. it is just showing me a black blank screen
press the power button, the wireless led showing red, power led on. the on-board mouse pad back led on. HDD led flashed iniitally and off.
I swapped the ram, still the same problem. That makes me think the notebook has a hardware fault.
any ideas ?

3D blueray problem
Hello, I have problem to play 3d blueray ISO file on laptop connected through hdmi with 3d 4k tv samsung 48hu7500, active 3d glassess. laptop is with videocard nvidia gtx1050 hybrid. The tv play file with powerdvd 18, but not in 3D, showing message that 3D is suported only in fullscreen and plays but not in 3d. The tv is ok, because I play the same ISO with desktop computer through hdmi and powerdvd and no problem at all.

Hi, I’ve recently bought the HP SPECTRE X360 (ch001nc) with the Vega M and Kaby Lake G. The thing is that when I try to run games they always pickup bad resolution and act weird in fullscreen mode. For example I’ve downloaded the Fortnite and launched it. It has bad resolution and I cannot change it in the windowed mode and also doesnt run on Vega M but on Intel Gpu when on windowed mode. So when i try to switch to fullscreen it doesnt show it all over the screen. Its on the 1/2 of the screen or so. Only time it shows the game correctly is when I turn off the windows scaling. Same goes for hitman game.

Problem using external monitor with Pavilion laptop
I am replacing an older Windows 7 HP Laptop with a newer Windows 10 laptop. I am connected to an HP Docking station (HP USB 2.0 Video Dock (VE022AA#ABA). I have an external monitor, DELL IN1910N plugged into the docking station as well. No matter what settings I use I cannot get the laptop to project to the monitor. The monitor is on and is listed in the Devices menu but when I go into the display settings and click detect, it says no devices detected. I have ensured that all of my drivers are up to date as well as all current windows updates. I have tried both extending and duplicating the display. Neither works. I have scoured forums and tried all of the suggestions but so far have had no luck. This monitor works fine with my Windows 7 machine. Please someone help me. I despise Windows 10. Let me know if you need more into to help debug.

HP HDX 18 windows 10 blu ray not working
Hello, I have the same problem with my HP dv7-1180eg.
After updating to Windows 10 my laptop can´t read blu rays anymore.
The drive shows no disc in explorer.
CD and DVDs are fine.
