Hi,

 

I've this HP ENVY x360 m6 Convertible laptop which has USB-C type port. I've a DELL WD-15 port reflector with USB-C which is connected to two external monitors and a USB monitor.

 

When I connect my HP ENVY x360 m6 Convertible laptop to this Dell WD-15 only keyboard is working but two monitors are not showing any video.

 

I've a DELL lattitude laptop which also has USB-C port and it shows video when it is conencted to DELL WD-15 dock.

 

I was told that this dock/port reflector should work properly with ENVY x360 laptop.

 

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated!

I too have this problem with my 2 yo Pavillion laptop. It wasn't using the intergrated graphics until a few months ago. Could a Windows update changed things?

This laptop's hinges are supposed to allow it to flip 360 degrees into tablet mode. Recently, the hinges have stiffened and stuck. I attempted to flip the display and the screen cracked. This is very upsetting due to it only being 1 yr old and the warranty has just expired. The screen display still looks ok but I don't know if the cracks will spread and the screen destroyed.

I know this sounds silly, but is there a way for me to determine if my laptop is equipped for TouchSmart? I was using one of the HP robots to troubleshoot my laptop and the description....showed it had this function. For the life of me, I don't know how to go about verifying it, or turning it on. Help, please.....and thank you.

Hello experts,

 

How do i find graphics card drivers for the old laptop HP Pavilion ze2027ea for Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. I have searched all over the internet and did not find these drivers. The only drivers I found on the internet for the graphics card for this laptop are those for Windows XP, but these drivers do not work properly for Windows 7.

 

Can someone help me?

Hi!

I have a HP Pavilion 14-al170no and the display got damaged and needs to be replaced. To be honest I can't figure out which displays might be compatible with my computer and need help choosing a cheap display to buy.

Hi.

I'm sorry for my bed English.

Notebook: Pavilion dv6-6b55er, Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

The problem is the graphics switching Intel 3000 and AMD HD 6490.

Installed chipset drivers from the website HP.

1. An error occurs when you install the toggle graphics driver AMD/Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) 8.15.10.2476 Rev. -> "This system does not meet the system requirements for installing the software" (img 1).

 

2. I'm downloading driver with site Intel for Intel HD 3000 and from the site HP AMD High-Definition 8.882.2.3000 -> in the device Manager, you can see that the installation was successful, but the system works on the VGA adapter + disappears the control panel to configure the graphics and Intel, and AMD.

3. Often, when you install the AMD driver black screen and the computer hangs indefinitely. Next, you cannot perform a normal Windows 7 boot (only through system restore).

Any help would be appreciated whether it is art or manual.

Hello, 

 

I have recently purhcased HP Omen 17 with gtx 1070, Intel i7 7700Hq and 75Hz full-hd screen, clearely a very capable and powerful machine. However, I most games I experince exessesive amount of stuttering. By stuttering I mean when a games skip frames, and pauses for a milisecond. In some games I experince little to no stutering, like Dota 2 and Rainbox 6 Siege, yet in some games stuttering is occuring at the higher rate, like Battlefield 4 and 1, and some games are barely playable, like Deus EX Mankind Divied. 

 

I have tried playing games from SSD and HDD, it didnt seem to have any difference. I updated Nvidia drivers to the newest, didnt help. Then, I dowgraded the drivers, didnt help as well. I have restored the system, it didnt help. I have perfomed stress tests o CPU and GPU yet I didnt find any throttling. 

 

I would appriciate assistance, because I dont want to be limited to a few games with such a powerful laptop.

Hi! I've just bought the new laptop HP Pavilion 15-ck0xx. Everything works great and I am very satisfied with the purchase. The only problem I have is the low screen brightness (backlight) level, although everything is set to 100% (incl. battery options). I mean I am sure it's at max and some will be satisfied with this brightness level, however it is like 70% of my old laptop brightness and this makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Is there any way to push the brightness even further like 110% of the max level? Maybe there is a way to do this via BIOS (my current BIOS version is F.04 and I couldn't find such settings there). I am OK if it affects electricity consumption, I just want it brighter. Thanks in advance!

I was also following the article at https://support.hp.com/ru-ru/document/c01809428. And they sugested to check if the brightness is good enough when you open BIOS. Mine was like 25% of what I have when the Windows is running and barely readable, which is a bad sign according to the article?

Just bought this laptop a week ago and when I turn it on I can see in the top right and bottom right corners a yellow tint especially when the screen gets dark( nor when switched off) I have already set my screen to Srgb and it seems that it is a bit less but the yellow colour is still there and it s blending with everything in my bottom right corner. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks !

I recently discovered that my laptop keyboard lights up. It was working fine for a couple of weeks but a few days ago I turned them on and the computer shutdown. The power bottom remained flashing. I thought the battery was the problem. I disconnected the battery for thirty seconds put it back on and the laptop was working again. I turned my keyboard lights on and left the room. When I came back the screen was off with the bottom flashing again. I disconnected the battery and turned it on without it (power plug) thinking it was the battery still. Well, as soon I turn the keyboard lights on it shuts off, with the flashing light. Help.

Hi! I have a ENVY x360 M6 convertible and I recieved a HP Pen as a birthday gift from family. I was wondering if there was anything I needed to install for it to work or whether it was just not compatible. The people at BestBuy said that it was compatible with all laptops but I'm not sure anymore! If anyone has any suggestions that would be great

Ok, so I have really tried everything possible. I have an hp laptop(HP Pavillion x360 Convertible). A little while ago my camera stopped working out of nowhere and ever since I cannot seem to fix the issue. I went to the hp website and I downloaded the driver but still, that did not fix it. I then went to device manager and I see that I do not have an imaging device nor a camera driver but I have just downloaded the recommended software. How can I get my camera back? I will attach an image of what I see under device manager. 

 

Please help guys. Thanks.

 

PS. I have read every site and issue submitted but none have worked.

I have a Pavilion p7-1459 and a graphic card AMD Radeon HD 7450, and trying to conect ultrawide monitor LG 29UM59 but not diplay max resolution just 1920 x1080, checking all list modes shows max 1920x1080, I already try DVIdual link with an adapter to HDMI for the monitor but still getting just the same resolution, I tryied too installing the newest amd drivers and same result. Can someone help me please.

Monitor working well with a lap top display the 2560x1600.

Every time i  stream a movie it keeps stopping on me or gets choppy.have to re start the movie and does it again.did this a little in the past but not this bad.problem got severe after updates.not using paid sites like netflix using free sites.Is that what the problem is now because it was never one before?please help and thank you in advance.

When I insert or detach something in the usb output the colors of the screen become negative for a few seconds.

I need  some help selecting an external monitor to use with this laptop.  I'm not real tech savvy and there are too many options, i.e. Full HD; Ultra HD; 4K; etc.

 

My laptop specs say it has a Full HD Monitor--so does that mean the best external monitor I can get is limited to that also?  Or would an Ultra HD 4K monitor work with it also?
