Hello,
since a week my laptop got an issue that I noticed it's about drivers update, both USB Input Device and Touchscreen are shown out-of-date and the system is asking for an update. This is resulting in the impossibility of the use of the touchscreen and all the USB accessories are recognized only as plug-and-play (e.g. i've got a mouse that use an external program that doesn't recognize the periferial anymore). Needlessly to say that this happened just after the 1y warranty expired... (and everything worked just fine untill then).
There comes the problems: I've tried all possible ways to update them but there seams to be no solution.
First of all i've tried to update it from Windows itself althought i've never seen it working... and indeed there was no result.
The second try was to update it manually from HP webpage, it was a bit more than A try becouse every time I've started the download it suddently stopped, after a day i've downloaded couple drivers but when running the wizard it told me that was uneeded. So i kept it up and tried with the proper button on the HP Support Assistant, but after the check up it told me that there was no need of updates as there where no errors.
I then check up with external programs (I won't write the names but those are two of the most known) and indeed they found some foult but surprisingly enough none was about either the touchscreen nor the USB.
So i've decided to look up into the HP Forum for any possible solutions, here I've found a similiar problem

-I've performed a diagnostic test (nothing came up)
-Enabled the touchscreen driver in Device Manager (already enabled)
-Check in HID if for HD-compliant touch screen was found (it wasn't)
-Done Hardsets (no results)
-Done Hardware Tests & Component Tests (Passed)
-Tried running in Safe Mode (not working).
My first thought was a conflict since i've unistalled my previous antivirus (becouse it expired) and installed a trial of a new one and short after the problems came up, but after unistalling the new antivirus and installing a new one nothing changed.
I'm in your care for anything at this point.
