There is an HP Stream 11 i found while cleaning to house up and the screen is cracked... i do what every other person would do an try connecting it to a display(tv) it is not displaying, i cant see anything. i tried connecting different hdmi cords, making sure the port is not damaged( it would detect it but not display it. Can i get a guide on how display it on my tv with a cracked screen?

 

-Appreciate it

P.s: I like trying to fix old eletronics

P.S.S: It it is a windows 10(it used to be a win 8.1, i gotten the update while it was free)

 I'm having the exact problem as Chin.  Tried two different kinds of adapters--Insignia and j5Create--neither work.  Have tried different length VGA cables as well... nothing works.  Please help!!!

Hi, my notebook is about a year old and has been fine but in the past couple of months has developed a touchpad problem where, when re-opening the notebook, the touchpad does not respond for the first 30-60 seconds.

I saw a sofware update took place in early December 2017, which coincide with the development of the problem (but now can't find where I read it)

There seems to be a problem with the side notification bar in the task bar...

The taskbar has a notification tab on the right. When I press it, some of the letters are missing and their seems to be a glitch. All the new notifications and jumbled and missing letters on them for some reason, and this has been going on for around a week or more. I think their was a update that caused something in the system, and I do not know what it is.

AMD sitesinden "Adrenalin Edition 18.2.3 Optional" indirdim ve kurdum. Ancak hata veriyor. Aygıt Yönetici'nde Grafik Kartları hata veriyor ve güncelle diyorum. Bu sefer de "Adrenalin Edition 18.2.3 Optional" tanınmıyor ve hata veriyor. Eski sürümleri rahatça kullanabiliyordum. 1 hafta önce gelen bildirimle güncelleme yaptım ve bilgisayarım arıza vermeye başladı. Sebebi nedir? Bu modelle bu programı yüklemem sakıncalı mı? Hi,

I used Intel Driver & Support Assistant and I received update for graphics driver: Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.60] Latest version: x.x.x.4901

 

If I run instalation I received message: Error: The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Obtain the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer. Setup will exit.

 

I want new graphic driver but in driver list for my laptop is only old driver.

I let someone borrow my laptop, so I don't know if something has been pressed. But the Function Keys aren't working, and when in Chrome F6 highlights the website bar instead of muting the audio, which I haven't enabled. Even when Chrome is closed down it's still not allowing me to change the brightness, mute or pause music etc. I've tried pressing F10 when the laptop is powering up, but it saying action keys are enabled. Not sure what else I should try

Hello, everyone.

I use 15" Envy laptop with matte screen, and it is really OK. Nevertheless it is quite big and heavy, and it is not very convenient to carry it around, so I want to by something smaller for travelling purposes.

I like the design of HP Envy 13-ad100 with small screen borders. But this model has just a glossy screen. Which is, as far as I know, as far as rewies says - quite refliective and not good for the eyes.

Is the only option is to buy an HP ProBook 430 G5, which has matte screen, but is more ugly, has bigger screen borders and is heavier?

 

Why there is no option of Envy 13ad with matte screen?

Laptop HP 255 G4. Windows7 (32-bit). When starting games, the message "Hardware acceleration is disabled or not supported by the video adapter" appears. The Device Manager shows that the driver is installed. What can be done?

The built-in webcam on my laptop us recognized by the latest version of Skype, but it will not turn on. I need to use in a video conferece. The device manager says the driver is up to date and that it is enabled, but the camera isn't working.

 

Any suggestions?

So I bought this laptop few days ago. It is a gaming laptop so I use USB-mouse when gaming and touchpad other times chilling. I set the touchpad options via control panel - hardware and sound - mouse - ELAN clickpad, and checked the box where it says disable when USB -mouse connected. 

 

It worked at the beginning just like a charm but then one time my battery died and computer shut down itself, after I rebooted the computer, my mousepad didn't work even I didn't have any USB devices connected. When I connected a USB-mouse it works normally and I unchecked the box at the settings the touchpad works too. But then I disconnect the mouse and check the box again, touchpad isn't working. 

 

I have tried to update and remove the touchpad from the device manager, I set the default BIOS settings but didn't help.

Since a recent update through HP Support Assistant my touchscreen and bluetooth mouse have become utterly useless. Both of them don't work anymore. If I go to Device Manager and look under "Other devices" both Touchscreen and 2.4G Wireless Mouse have a yellow warning sign in front of them indicating some driver issues.

If I go to the settings the dialogue indicates that there are no drivers installed for this device and that there are no compatible drivers available (code 28). Disabling the device or updating the drivers does not solve my problem.

How can I get my device to work properly again?

Purchased two new HP Pen's, silver two button on side (no eraser button) changed batteries twice on each, positive side of battery towards pen tip. Tried to pair with HP Pavilion Notebook, will not even pick up the pen at all, tried HP Desktop,  android tablet and android phone.  Nothing recognizes this pen.  Any thoughts, I paid $43 each for pens that are not recognized
