some weeks ago I update my PC at least version of Windows 10, but at reboot ... the touch stop working. I try to reinstall driver of PC and also Graphic Drivers. But the problem is unsolved. I use the touch for my work so is very important to have a solution as soon is possible.

My display is black and white. I haven't made any software or hardware changes. I went to bed it was in color, woke up this morning and it was like an Andy Griffith episode. I have an HP Notebook 15 with Windows 10. Any help will be appreciated.

Da ieri ho cominciato ad avere dei problemi di questo genere:
la selezione si sposta da sola, ad esempio se premo il menu start, la selezione scorre da sola fino all´ultimo riusultato e con tutto lo fa.
Oppure se in una cartella seleziono un file, la selezione da sola si sposta in fondo fino all´ultimo file della cartella facendoli passare tutti.
Fortunatamente non clicca e non apre niente da solo, ma accade come se tenessi pemuto la freccetta in giu per spostarmi velocemente.
Diventa impossibile anche fare ricerche su internet perche quando nella barra di ricerca scrivo qualcosa, automaticamente la selezione si sposta fino all´ultimo risultato dei suggerimenti, in base ad ogni lettera che digito.
Utilizzo un mouse wireless della trust, ho provato anche a non usarlo ma cio accade comunque usando il touchpad
Ho provato con Windows Defender a fare una scansione ma non mi trova nessun virus.
Ho pulito anche bene la tastiera, ma nulla da fare.
Ad un certo punto ieri dopo aver tenuto spento il PC per un ora, tutto torna alla normalita ma alla sera dopo qualche ora che usavo tranquillamente il pc, ritorna questo problema e oggi persiste.
Su Hp Support Assistant ho effettuato tutti gli aggiornamenti necessari, e dunque ora non so piu cosa fare.

Since about a month ago the fingerprint scanner for my laptop is not working anymore, in the sense that when I switch on the notebook, the sensor's light doesn't even blink...Not sure if this is related to any software update, I don't remember exactly, but there was a Window update that I allowed in December and I'm thinking it may be related to that...
Based on some of the recommendations I found here, I went to Device Manager - Biometric Devices, and clicked on the only option I have there - 'Validity Sensors (WBF) (PID=0050)', only to see the following error message: 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)'. Does anyone know what that means and/or what can be done?

When I try to sign-in, my laptop does not recognize any alpha characters in my password. Trouble-shooting guide says to hold down the Beats button when turning off the computer. Where is the Beats button, or what does it look like? Can't find anything on the Support website to indicate.

I have an HP Envy 15-ah000sa laptop, with one HDMI port, to which I connect my external monitor. I find it restrictive to have only the one external monitor, so I'd like to know whether there's a way to split the screen to a third monitor (laptop screen plus HDMI monitor plus another one)?

I am the proud owner of an HP Notebook - 15-f162dx (ENERGY STAR), I have shattered my digitizer and require a new one. Unsure where to purchase an OEM HP part or even where to find the part number for this. My LCD is intact, the digitizer is not. I have a coouple of stickers attached to the digitizer (I've separated the LCD and digitizer) on the inside, but any kind of search on the partsurfer website on hp isn't providing much of anything. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When I connected the new Acer external monitor via VGA connector to my HP notebook, I got "No signal" notification on the external monitor.
I have checked it with my other Asus notebook and the monitor works perfectly fine.
When I watch Netflix, every few minutes the screen turns from normal to a grey-ish tint for a second or two.
It only happens on Netflix and have heard that it's happened to people with HP Pavilion before, but wasn't sure of the solution.

my hp botebook remains black after turning it on, I tried to plug it to an external monitor and the display is there., that's why I tried to update my windows but the installation fiald. I also installed a new Graphics driver but still remains black screen. I already tried the 30-1-2 method earlier but it didn't work,. does any body knows how to solve this? please help. I am in the middle of the semester and we're making our resarch papaer and my Software engineering subject has lots of paper works projects too do and my laptop is not working

Related to this query I have HP Envy notebook X7G56EA#ABU running Windows 10 Pro.
I want to run 2 external monitors.
I have one connected to the HSMI port
I have the second monitor connected via HDMI cable to the USB C port on this laptop via this adaptor:
Doesn't work. Both montiors work fine independently via th eHDMI port, but when I connect the adaptor to USB C the machine doesn't detect it or do anything.
Is that adaptor OK to use for this purpose with this laptop?
How can I troubleshoot this?
I need to check the USB C port on my laptop is working properly, but I don't have any other USB C devices.
