It has an amd radeon 530 - 4gb ddr3. I have been tring to play Pes2013. it tells me the vram is bad ony 128mb is avilable.
My question is how to increase the vram?

HP ENVY x360 - m6-w101dx Cracked Screen
There is a crack from the upper right corner all the way diagnol across my screen of my HP ENVY x360 - m6-w101dx.
I went to you break it and we fix it and they couldn't fix it. Any other suggestions. I can still use it, just no longer have a touch screen function.

External Monitor Options
I am having the same issue with my 13-ad173cl that I just purchased from Cost Co.
The short of it: The only thing they came up with was a potentail compatabiltiy issue with the HDMI to USB-C adapter, which works on all of my other labtops with USB-C ports. Very frustrating if the HP Envy needs a proprietary adapter to connect to an HDMI monitor. I Guess buying an HP $25 adapter is worth the investment to see if it will fix the monitor connection issue. I'm not a happy camper.
I have already spent ~ 3hrs updating drivers and BIOS with chat techs. And BTW, the updates that came through on the HP Support assistant, wouldn't install on thier own. I kept getting error messages. So I had to use HP support. The 2nd chat tech who was helping with the monitor issue (after the drivers not installing issue) indicated it was a compatibility issues with the adapter (HDMI to USB-C). I was skeptical so I called phone support,. After running through the their standard playbook, they transfered me to another group called Smart Sense, which you pay for. Why would I pay for support on an issue on a brand new computer? Usually HP support is good, but this is incredibly bad.
I hope someone is able to solve this problem quickly.

HP Envy ad060na USB C port to HDMI doesn't work!
2 month old HP ENVY ad060na i7 with Nvidia GEFORCE graphics card, running Windows 10, 64GB.
I am trying to connect this notebook to an external monitor. I assumed that all I had to do was buy a USB C to HDMI adapter and away we go.... But no! The monitor is not recognised. Tried 4 different monitors and 3 different HDMI leads. The adapter I used was Sandstrom. I returned the adapter to the store (same one I purchased the notebook from) this afternoon. They were confused as to why it didn't work. They then proceeded to try it. Same thing, not detecting any monitior. They proceeded to try a USB C to VGA adtapter, but same result - the notebook would not recognise the monitor. I then asked them to try a shop display HP notebook.... guess what - they didn't recognise the monitor either!!
I have tried both USB C ports, as I understand the right hand side port is video enabled (according to the user manual), but none have worked.
To summarise; tried 2 USB C adapters (1 x HDMI & 1 x VGA), 4 monitors, 3 HDMI cables - still nothing.
Appreciate any support from HP, or anyone really!

Touchscreen is not recognized in windows
I replaced the hard drive on my 11-n010dx and put a fresh install of Windows 10 on it. Windows will not recognize that the computer is a touchscreen. HID-Compliant Touchscreen is not listed in device manager. I've downloaded the HP Assistant which has offered nothing Touchscreen related. I've updated everything the Assistant recommended. The Touchscreen DOES work in the BIOS but is not recognized in Windows.
I've done a reset of Windows and updated everything again. It just seems like I need to download the driver which I can't seem to find anywhere.

Drivers needed
After upgrading my system up to windows 8.1 I lost drivers for touchscreen. Device Manager don't recognize touchscreen (unknown device) ,basic touchscreen drivers (coming with windows data) don't work. There's no needed drivers on official page with drivers for this notebook. Need official HP driver for TouchSmart screen!
P.S. HP driver update utility also didn't find anything.

Sharp edges on HP Envy x360
I just purchased the HP Envy a week ago and the edges of this laptop are driving me nuts! Not only is the angle quite sharp at the edges but there is also a seam around the whole laptop which my hands and arms scrape on when using it. I will clarify that I don't use it on a desk but rather on my lap and my hands and lower arms actually hurt from the constant abrasion of the case. There are other minor grievances that I could learn to live with but the case is a deal breaker. I just never expected a design flaw like this from an experienced manufacturer. Has anyone found a workaround to fix this? Right now I'm typing in tablet mode which is annoying and slow as that way my hands and wrists don't scrape against the case. If I can't find a workaround I will have to return an otherwise decent laptop.

Active Stylus....
I just purchase an HP Envy x360 Model 15-aq292cl. I have been searching for the last week to see if i can find an active pen stylus so i can draw on it when in tablet mode. Does anyone know of any that work. I was looking at the HP Active pen stylus but it's not listed as being compatible with it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HP Chromebook 14-c015dx complex problems (sort of)
Ok...let's start by saying over 3 years ago, my Chromebook LED screen was damaged and couldn't show any images (needs to be replaced). I never got the screen replaced and instead bought a regular hp laptop which was lost during the course of moving about 5 months ago. I went back to the Chromebook and decided to hook up an hdmi to a small tv I no longer used. Everything was fine until today. I mistakenly thought my chromebook had an issue and just tried to fix it on my own. Now when I hook my chromebook (via hdmi) back to the television, it is severly limited in it's function. I hooked my chromebook up to another television (the tv I'm using so I can see as I type this question) and everything is absolutely normal. First, on the tv I initially used to project the screen, no shortcut works except my GoogleDocs shortcut which opens GoogleDocs on the browser. All of the letters and numbers are very small and difficult to see in the browser. When I click on the shortcut to the browser, Gmail, YouTube and Files shortcuts, nothing happens. When I try to enter "settings" through the area with the date and time, wireless status and my avatar it closes the browser, or if the browser isn't open, nothing happens. I'm so confused why it has seemed to have malfunction on the television I've been using since July, but is perfectly normal on my other tv. Also, the browser and any tabs I have open while working on the tv my Chromebook functions on, end up disappearing when I simply shift the HDMI to the tv I orginally used. The tv in which my Chromebook functions normally on happens to be the family tv and I can't use it for the Chromebook. I'm extremely confused and really hope someone has some idea what may be going on. Thanks in advance.

cracked case
i have a HP Stream 11-y020wm and it is cracking on the bottom by the USB ports on both sides, lowerleft is the worse. Anyone having same issue or can help me figure out if it's still under warranty?

Webcam does not working
When i open camera app there is a error -error code:0xA00F4244(0xC00DABED). And if i open cyberlink you cacm6
then it shows no webcam detected. I also cheaked in device manager there is no camera driver. My product name is Hp 15-ac101tu. Please help me to fix this.

graphics drivers are not working properly
When i am opening windows games so its display error (Hardware Acceleration is either solution diabled or not supported by youer video card driver, whch couild slow game performance. Make sure you have the latest video card driver installed and that hardware acceleration is turn on).
What should i do?

Stylus not working
I have bought my laptop HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-ba0xx before 2 months. It came with SPEN-HP-01. It is an active stylus (comes with a battery). It was working really well and I was not using it for daily purpose. I used to use it to show my friends how it works on a display.
But it suddenly stopped working.And again it was working well. And I now it is not working at all. I have checked for updates using Hp support assistant , but it is not showing any updates regarding the stylus or screen connectivity.
What can be the issue? Should I change the battery?

HID Comp. Touch Screen Issue Driver?

I have already created one topic on my Laptop before but I didn't get a proper reply.
I have contacted Currys PC World where I bought the laptop (online) and they didn't reply to my question.
Simply, Disregarded me...
Most importantly. Is there any Email I could contact the HP support center? OR is it just through the phone? in Ireland?
I need to send my laptop for service.
I just bought it (currys) Received it on 28th Nov. and theres an issue with my touch screen and screen itself.
I have tried to troubleshoot, update drivers and anything that was recommended to be done in this case but none has helped. The Screen check is showing that everything is okay. But it is not.
It is not a Constant issue, but it will appear from time to time during the day..
There's a ghost/phantom touch on the top right corner of the screen always in the same place.
Either my mouse pointer will move there while I'm using Razer mouse or when it's unplugged it will start clicking one spot. While I'm tablet mode or not... It's awlays the same spot. Looks like a hardware issue rather than drivers which are up to date.
PLUS.
It has bright spots (local dimming?) I don't know the proper name for this. Found an image on google that shows a similar problem to mine. 
I have it in left bottom corner and top right corner...
Maybe the laptop been thrown around while in delivery *DHL. ?? Just assuming.
Other than the screen it works great... Already have my Data on the HDD.
If I send it for the repair should I remove all of my Data from the hard drive?

New LCD display and support for that.
Hello.
Had bought a new laptop couple of months back from PC curry world.
Due to some physical damage have damaged the screen. Had given the laptop to PC curry world to get it repaired but they couldn't repair it.
I'm looking for one entire new screen.
Hope i get a better solution at HP care center.
Can you please look into this matter and let me know what can be done.

HP Pavilion 15 laptop screen showing green color.
Hello,
My laptop screen suddenly started showing green color on white pixels and dark pink on black pixels. As you can see that top 1cm is showing proper colors but rest of the screen is affected.
I read on some sites that this issue happens when the video cable connector is not connected properly. So, can somebody help me here? Is the display faulty, or it's just an issue of connector. Anyway, I'll be taking it to the customer care but I don't want to pay for a problem that doesn't exist.

Docking Station Using USB C port
Does anybody know of a docking station that uses the USB C port on this latest HP laptop.
What I am looking for is a device that plugs into the USB C port and allows me to attach a screen, keyboard, mouse and (optional) network cable. (The USB C port has no Thunderbolt symbol)
It should allow me to use and start the laptop without opening it so that the laptop can sit in a desk stand; allowing it to function as both a desktop and laptop unit.
My old Pavillion(s) had this capacity via their docks and newer units appeared to use the USB and I would like to get this functionality.
