HDMI output don`t work

Problems with HDMI output, one day it works next day it does not work.

Tests performed so far:

1. Changed operating sytem from WIN10 Home Premium to WIN7 Ultimate x64 and back to WIN10 Pro x64

2. BIOS update

3. Driver Update

4. Tested on different screens with different HDMI cables

5. Unistalled video driver in device manager and let windows to reinstall driver. Works for couple of days

Same symptoms with all different operating systems

Anyone came accross this problem?

Hello,

Dear HP Support team,

After I cahnged a hard drive on my laptop and install Windows 8.1, I can't fix the touch screen and controll the brightness. But it is working in BIOS.
I tryed to troubleshoot by the device manager, but HID-Compliant Touchscreen Driver was not there and there is no drivers for the touch screen at the HP service web site as well.

Please update me with the solution and support with this trouble.

Bought the HP Spectre in May. Have had probems with the mouse from the get go. Mine is getting stuck in the top left hand corner of the screen. HP did reload Windows, worked for awhile then happened again. Any new updates?

I am frantically trying to install my graphics driver and every time it shows the message that graphics have been partially installed, even though when I have seen the logs it clearly shows display driver failed to install. There is a currently a problem with my graphics driver (it does not allow me to play any of my pc games, they crash as I start them up), it appears a blue screen error with a message 'thread stuck into device driver'. I have tried using AMD Radeon website to update my driver, but since it was modified by the manufacturer it would not work. The HP support for my computer for driver and software downloads has not worked. I do not know what to do at this point as I have searched hard for a version higher than what I have installed.

There was a problem starting C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\System\SysMenu.dll The specified module could not be found

This message comes up every time I turn on my computer and it appears at least 3 times back to back. Can someone tell me how to get rid of it?

Tried to use webcam for the first time. Windows 10 did not appear to know that it existed. Ran PCDiags, got the following error message in relation to the webcam: Failure ID: PTW7H9-8338R4-MFPX61-Q3DD03. Product ID is T8T87EA#ABU.

PCDIAGS advised me to go to hp.com/go/techcenter/pcdiags and enter the above information to get further information about the problem. That sounded straightforward but the webpage didn't exist and I was redirected to another page which was of no use. Haven't found a webpage that can interpret the failure id.

I have an HP Pavilion X360 m3 (13 inch). There are HP x 360 Pavilion's on the list you linked but they are S0 and S1. Does that mean there are no compatible pens for m3?

I am having trouble projecting onto an AOC monitor with HDMI, I have tried on HDMI 1 and 2 and problem still persists. I have updated the drivers and no luck. Is there any other drivers or things I can do to remedy this issue? I have been at this for over a week, searching forums and topics and can't seem to find a fix. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have hp Pavilion dm4 2020sn, the motherboard got bad, i got a used motherboard and installed it, the pc powers and is charging well, the screen comes on but after about 5 minutes the screen goes blank but still shows light on the screen. wondering what could be the cause and how to fix it. Thanks.

I'm using HDMI port to connect my notebooke to HP screen and it was working perfect untill yesterday.

I tried to dissconnect the HMDI cabel and recoonected but no success, I restart the laptop, tried with another screen, with another HDMI cabel, all of it useless.

I connect my screen to another laptop working without any issue also tried with my HDMI cabel with another laptop working perfectly without any issue.

Please your help.

I hope someone can help me here, as im going out of my mind trying to figure out the problem

I have a HP Envy x360 (model 15-ar052sa) with the AMD A12-9700p APU.

It has been working perfectly fine, then i go to turn it on and it powers on, but there is nothing on the display. I tried to connect it to my TV with HDMI and still no display.

I tried a few solutions i found on the internet, but nothing seems to be working. I dont know what to do...

I tried a bright light to see if it was just the backlight failed, but no.

I tried an external monitor.

I tried a multitude of keyboard combinations, but nothing.

Please help, i spent a lot of money on this Laptop and i need it for University.

New Graphics Drivers for Iris 540

My Spectre x360 15T has the Iris 540 graphics. The driver that's installed is dated 10/24/2016 and has the version number 12.20.16.4542. I'm running the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update version 1709 build 16299.19.

When I run the Microsoft Windows Mixed Reality compatibility check the only thing it fails on is the Graphics Driver. It's close but not good enough to support Microsoft mixed reality.

According to this Intel page there are newer drivers for the Iris 540:

I've checked many times and as recently as this morning using the HP Support Assistant and all my drivers are up to date according to that. As the hardware is apparently capable, I'm wondering if HP will push out a new "HP-affied" version of a newer Iris 540 driver that will support Windows mixed reality. Do you know if or when that might happen?
