My 22cwa Display is my 2nd monitor and the optimal resolution isn't an option in my windows display. What can I do?

HP Zbook G4 and Thuderbolt 3 docking station screen issues
Good day,
I recently sold two HP Zbook 15 G4 with the Thunderbolt 3 USB docking stations to a customer. Customer has several Zbook 15 G3's since before that had the same problem at first startup, but those we solved with newer drivers and firmware. With the G4's this doesn't seem to help though.
Setup:
Zbook 15 G4 connected to Thunderbolt 3 dock. 2 x Samsung QHD screens connected with DisplayPort to dock. Also network cable, power and USB devices connected to dock.
Problem description:
When connecting dock, screens sometimes flickers but doesn't show picture. Sometimes they work, depending on reboots it seems. It is a bit problematic to pinpoint as the problem is intermittent. And sometimes when screens actually work, the update frequency of the screen is super slow, you can actually see the mouse pointer jump because frames are lost.
We also have a strange phenomena; Windows Explorer sometimes 'hangs' - or at least takes a long long time to show files in any folder, USB device or network - a problem that usually shows at the same time as we have the screen problem. And it doesn't matter if we move network cable to computer or even if we connect wirelessly. It seems some software messes with Windows Explorer, in short. After reboot, Windows Explorer is usually OK again.

What is max resolution for tv on pavilion 15
I want to use an external hd tv as an additional monitor but cannot find the maximum resolution that my laptop will support via HDMI port.

Touch screen issues--goes to lock screen
Our school district issued us these new laptops this year. Several are having problems with the touch screen in that when it is touched, the laptop immediately goes black, looking like sleep mode. They then have to log back in. So it is immediately logging them out and turning the screen off just because the screen was touched.
On another laptop, just doing a two-finger scroll on the touchpad produced the same thing, immediately turning the screen off and logging them out.
Any ideas for a fix?

Autorotate doesn't work on Spectre x360
I have lost the ability to autorotate the screen. I can manually rotate it, but the autorotate lock is greyed out. I have updated all drivers. I made the manual change at '\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation\enable' and set it to '1'. Every time I restart the PC, it reverts to '0'.
How can I get this feature back?

Small letters on pop-ups and origin menu
So my problem is that those anti virus pop ups are ridiculously tiny to the point where you almost can’t press the x. I also noticed the same problem with the taskbar of origin (the gaming app where you get sims and stuff)
Like really I’ve searched a lot and I can’t find any solution. The adjusting letter size to certain parts in advanced settings didn’t work either :/

HP Envy x360 display glitch
Hi!
I bought this laptop around 2 months ago and I somtimes randomly see these glitches on the screen, It's kind of like the display glitches you see on tv shows or movies. About an inch of my screen blanks out and several black lines cross my screen. I am submitting this now because it has gotten so bad that I have to shut down my computer for it to stop.
I have already gone to the HP Support Assisstant to see if there were any updates but none were available.

How to pair the HP Active Stylus
So I have been trying to get help from Tech-support for weeks, but they can't help me since my laptop is not in warrenty. I just recently got an HP Active Stylus and I can't seem to pair it with my laptop. I have checked multiple times and my laptop is supported by this stylus. I have tried replacing the batteries. Nothing seems to work and it didn't come with any instructions.
Please help! I'm starting to get frustrated.

Spectre Power Button Doesn't Work with External Display Connected
I just received my Spectre X360, along with an external display, an HP 22er 21.5-inch Display (Z4Z25UA#ABA ), connected via USB-C / HDMI adapter cable. The display works fine; however, when the display is connected, the computer's power button no longer functions. This means that I cannot leave the laptop tucked under the monitor stand and have it sleep and wake at the touch of a button. I have to put it to sleep by clicking Start / Power / Sleep, and I have to wake it up by sliding it out, opening it up, waiting for it to wake, then closing it and sliding it back. That's an unnecessary pain.
In Power Options / System Settings the Lid is set to Sleep on battery and Do Nothing when plugged in. The power button is set to Sleep on both battery and when plugged in. This should give me the behavior I want, and it does when the display is not conncted. But it doesn't work when the display is connected.

How can I retrieve docs from laptop (Pavillion) when monitor display not working?
One day the screen went blank (Black). while the computer is old and I have others, it contains some information and files that I would like to retrieve before it is scrapped. How can I retrieve files without the screen? Do I have to remove the hard drive and put it in another computer? If so what are the things that I should be concerned about?

Envy and Asus MB169C Display Port issue
The issue is that the HP Envy unable to detect the Asus MB169C Display Port that I just bought. The same display port works with Dell laptop. Does anyone have the same problem? and any advice is greatly appreciated.

ZBook Studio G3 w/ HP dock, Intel HD graphics crashing
So we have someone working with fairly large 3D models using this laptop with the HP 150W Thunderbolt dock. The laptop was working fine for about a month after it was set up, and now just in the last week or two the Intel HD graphics keeps crashing and automatically recovering. This is causing the entire screen to black out for a sec, and recover a few seconds later.
The drivers for both the Quadro M1000M and Intel HD Graphics have been updated to the latest version. I confirmed that the Thunderbolt drivers for the dock were all up to date. I checked Event Viewer, and all it said was that the graphics device crashed and successfully recovered. Please note that this laptop is still being used, so I won't have many opportunities to do more troubleshooting.
If anyone has an idea of where to go next please let me know!

Touch Pad Drivers - Newest release helps
For those of you who have struggled with the x360's touch pad, which appears to be possessed with a mind of it's own, there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not an oncoming train!
If the HP Assistant doesn't download the newest drivers for the touchpad, go to HP's website and get them.
While the latest driver doesn't solve all my touch problems, the laptop is now considerably better. I still get some ghost touches but so far it seems to be a lot better. Previously, I had my touch pad dumbed down to the point it was almost nonfunctional but I've actually been able to ease up on the settings.
I still see the occasional ghost touch where you will be scrolling down a page and have the touch pad select some link when you didn't click on it but a lot better.

HP 1040 G3 Connecting to projector loses signal
I have several users experiencing issues when connected to our Viewsonic Projectors via HDMI cable. While projecting during a meeting, the screen will flicker, as if it is looking for a signal, then find it again, randomly repeating. I have changed HDMI Cables. I cannot manually reproduce this issue.
When I search for updated drivers, the laptop has the most recent driver updates.
Any thoughts?

Can HP Envy 15 (2015) support a displaylink adapter for 3 monitors?

I've recently bought a third monitor to connect up to my laptop. I've read that some laptops are incapable of connecting to a displaylink adapter and therefore connect a third monitor. Please could someone tell me if this is the case?
