Every time I use the touch screen, or use the trackpad to scroll the screen goes black like it went to sleep. If I move the mouse the screen turns back on and acts normal. It only started happening the last two days, but I can't name a specific event that could have triggered it like an update. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Stylus Compatability
I'm wondering if my model is compatable with a stylus or pen. In the settings/about, it says it has pen and touch support, which leads me to believe there is a pen that is compatable. My model is the HP ENVY x360-15t-w200 CTO. Please help!

Swapping screens between 840g1, 840g2, 840g3 question
Hi all. Have a question regarding Elitebook 840 model screens -
We have had multiple units from 840g1 through 840g3's, and had to keep one g3 Win 7 due to some work hardware compatibility issues. However, the g3 we got with 7 has the standard 1366x768 only.
We also have an 840g1 with a 1600x900 - is this able to be swapped this with the g3 1366x768?
Also have a second 840g3 with 1920x1080, again - is this interchangeable with the other g3 1366x768?
Last, we may also be getting an 840g2, same question as above, as that will likely have 1600x900 as well.
I do see the part searcher where you can pull up different numbers but not fully clear on which screens are compatible and able to be swapped between which 840 models...

Touchscreen stopped working
A while back I updated my computer and my touch screen stopped working. When I look at some of the settings its as if I do not have a touch enabled laptop. I have been scrolling other forums for a while, so I have already tried several things. When I go to my devices under human interface devices, touch screen (or anything like it) does not show up. I have also checked under USB devices and it does not show up there either. I have also tried the component testing (F2) and touch screen did not show up. In addition to that, I tried searching pen and touch and it said no pen or touch input is available for this device. I have looked into restoring from a previous point, but I guess I waited too long and the previous points are very recent. Lastly, I have looked for the drivers, but I haven't had any luck. If anyone has any suggestions to get my touch screen back up and running, they would be greatly appreciated!

Touchpad not working
Hi, i got my notebook 15 last week and the touchpad worked efficiently for 2 days but as of now, the touchpad isnt working again. I read from other users complaint that they should update the driver and update the bios, i habve done all this but still isnt working. Please help.

Cant update my video card drivers
Hello I have this annoying problem that I cant figure it out on my own.
So most games asked me to update my video card drivers but whenever I try to update them after instalation and restarting my pc its still same vesrion of video drivers! I have amd radeon dual graphics and I think it uses crossfire technolgy so maybe I need to do somthing diffrently..?
please I really need to fix this as soon as posible!

Green dotted line on new laptop
Have purchsed this laptop for my dealership and its been very lighlty used in a clean enviroment and temperature called area. I have a green dotted line across the bottom of my screen .. Serial : (removed content).. Model: 15-f271wm ... Product: N5YO4UA#ABA .. Warranty: 1y1yoy.. Have attached this to a seperate monitor and the line still apears.. I dont understand how this happened so quickly I use several HP products in our delarships with no issues.. Any advice would be helpful..

Video skips, stutters, shorts out, force restarts laptop
This issue mainly happens when watching Netflix on my laptop. Sporadically throughout a show the video and audio will pause, almost like the video is buffering but there is plenty already loaded. Then it starts these strange electronic skipping noises, like the computer is working way too hard. Sometimes the audio will continue, sounding stretched, and the video will stay stuck. It usually fixes itself within 30 seconds, only to happen again after 5-20 minutes. It seems random.
A few times this skipping forces the computer to retart. I get a light blue screen that says: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. If you call a support person, give them this info: Stop code: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION"
I have done all updates that the HP Assistant recommended. This has happened on two different secure, private wifi connections. I have tried streaming Netflix from the desktop app, chrome and firefox. All of these have had the same issue.

Cannot activate second display on 2000 notebook
A while back my laptop screen broke and I stopped using it for some time. I've decided to try to start using it, but my 2nd display is no longer recognized on boot. I try activating it with FN + F4 and Windows key + P and clicking down twice and enter, but no luck. Any way to make the second display work?

How do I fix the TOUCHPAD on the HP Envy Laptop so I can freely type and text; no cursor skipping?
Preface: Anyone that answers please give me a really simple and fast fix.
HP should never have released this when it has this problem yet out of greed did. All I dream of doing is walk into Best Buys and throw this against the wall and demand my money back. Best Buys should not have sold this KNOWING it had this isue. They fu$^ed with the wrong dream guy. In my dream, I get arrested, but I still get satisfaction knowing I can create media exposure warning others to stay away from HP products.
The issue is simple, yet so far no answer. It is so bad they need to issue a recall.
THE PROBLEM: Everytime you type the second you lift your finger off the touchpad the cursor goes somewhere else in the document and repeatedly one has to edit and then edit some more. Time consuming is not the appropriate phrase. Sickening. Pathethe Fu%(ed up. Evil. Why would HP want to release this product with a flaw, a major bug in it? No do not answer that, we all understand the concept called GREED.
TIPS THAT DO NOT WORK: Setting the touchpad to less sensitivity helps a little...very little. Reinstalling Drivers , useless.
Out of over 20 laptops over a span of 25 years, this is the only laptop with this major an issue rendering it useless to me. PLEASE IF YOU CAN FIX IT I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.

when pressing shift 2 to the the @ symbol, i get a quotation mark " instead
I am trying to set up a brand new Spectre 360. An early step is to set up Windows 10 (OS) which requires entering your email.
When attempting to do so and pressing the shift-2 keys to get an @ sign, instead the same produces a quotation mark ("). This means the system will not let me continue.

Graphic card Intel 4600 but i have nvidia sticker on my laptop
So i have this HP laptop, and i want to play games on it but the problem is that i dont have a nvidia graphic card. When i check in device manager, theres no nvidia gpu. However there is a sticker on my laptop. So is this false marketing, a missunderstanding or i didnt enable my nvidia graphic card?
