Hello.
I have a problem with the webcam of my HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook ak15- series.
Whenever I run any software that uses the webcam, the little led from my webcam turns on, but no video is displayed. It shows no error messages at all:
I've followed several guides about reinstalling webcam drivers and other stuff. However, it seems that those guides were for when the webcam was not recognized. My problem is that it is recognized but shows no image.
I have not managed to get it working.
Tech Info:
HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook ak15- series
Windows 10 Home 64-bits
The software where I tested the webcam are: Skype, Cyberlink Youcam 6
Any help would be appreciated.

two finger back and forward scroll browser
Is two finger back and forward in browser not supported on Windows 10? Everything else works just fine. What is weird is when I went into a microsoft store they had a newer 13" spectre x360 and it worked flawlessly but on my new 15" spectre x360 (2017) model it does not work. Am I missing something??
Can i run 2 external displays with my spectre x360?
it has the 7th gen i7 and am wondering if i can run 2 external displays along with the laptop itself. I would hope to do it with 2 usb-c to hdmi converters.
Is this possible?
Any help is appreciated
notebook issue
Hi,
I have this problem issue on my notebook.
Sometimes my notebook's display switches off and on on short period of time, definitely less than 1/2 second. Just a small "restart" of screen. At that time also the sound turns off and on.
This happens regardless of time, position on notebook and also regardless on program I work on that time.
I am not sure if I should reclaim the machine.
Thank's a lot for your opinions.

my hp pavalion 11 x360 screen is unresponsive and discoloured
this morning my hp pavalion 11 x360 screen became discoloured, I can barely see anything. and i notice the screen updates very slowly. i have tried changing the refresh rate and still no change. it displays fine when connected to an external display. My system's processor is intel pentium CPU N3520 @ 2,16ghz. I'm running windows 8.1 alongside ubuntu 16.10 (both 64bit)
The display keeps toggling between 14inch and 15.6 inch size on minimum 'movement' of the laptop
Even on the slightest movement. the display changes the size. Becomes smaller, then flickers back to the original size. Always comes back to original size, but flickers once or twice.
Error since the last 15 days now.
Why did my brightness keys suddenly stop working?
I use a HP ProBook 4440s with Windows 10. A few days ago my brightness keys (fn + f2/f3) suddenly stopped working. The sound keys (fn + f7/f8/f9) and sleep keys (fn + f1) still work. My Device Manager says that my Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 display adaptor driver and my Generic PnP Monitor are all up to date and working properly. A simple restart also did not do the trick. Any idea why and how to fix this would be really appreciated.
Mulitple Monitors
I have a HP Envy X360 model 15M-BP012DX and would like to connect 2 external monitors to it. Are there any dock/replicator/hubs that I can purchase to accomplish this for this particular computer?

Thin horizontal lines in the middle of screen with flickering in the middle of the screen
My screen was perfect at home before leaving for work this morning. I packed my laptop in my back and got there and found there was a thin black horizontal line on the screen. After working throughout the day I got home and found out there are now 3 thin black horizontal lines on my screen. I booted into the BIOS and found the problem was still there. I updated my gfx card drivers and intel intergrated graphics and rebooted and the lines are still there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
help with Ctrl+home keystroke function
the CTRL=Home key only moves to the beginning of a line. How do I execute a control home function that actually moves to the top of a page or beginning of a email document?
Some ClickPad gestures on my new Spectre not working as expected.
For a very short time, I owned a previous generation Envy 2 in 1 (m9-ar004dx). Wen using that laptop, I was able to do do some really nice gestures such as swiping two fingers to the side to go back on edge, and scrolling up and down with two fingers would cause pages and some programs to "squish" past their boundaries (Think like scrolling on OSX). After about a week I decided to return it and get an HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl012dx. This laptop appears to have an identical trackpad, but now these mentioned gestures and effects are not present. Is there any solution to bring them back?
Thanks!
The mouse pad buttons seem too "Stiff" -- harder to click than my old HP Pavilion laptop buttons.
This is a new laptop and the mouse button bar seems excessively "stiff" and too hard to Click. Is there an adjustment? I didn't see one on Control Panel.

Touchpad and keyboard nor working
Model Hp pavilion x360 13-u113nl
It's not an hardware problem because in bios both work normally, but not in windows 10.
The notebook is one week old, and had this problem after 2 days. I followed all the steps that the hp support gave me when i called the worst customer care ever... Even with recovery it didn't fixed it. At the shop where i bought it, they said to ask refund and send it back. I still have few days to do it. Could someone maybe help me?
Thanks in advance

My touchscreen is not functioning such that if I touch on the screen the touch is not working at all
My touchscreen is not functioning such that if I touch on the screen the touch is not working at all. The first days it was working but with time (less than 5-6 months) it has stop.
The computer is now showing as if it has no touchscreen when I open in settings such that the touchscreen driver is not enabled hence I can not even manage to Reinstall the touch screen driver in Windows Device Manager. I am using Windows 10 operating system.

HDMI port not working
I've had this laptop for years and I love it. I just want to know if the HDMI port can be switched out or changed. I took it in at a well known department store to see if they could fix it and or varify that the HDMI was absolutly not working. I was told the HMDI was in fact not working and to contact those in the HP department for the part although "Your product’s warranty expired on June 6, 2015" keeps coming up. Please help. Can the part be fixed or replaced?
-Thanks in advance
