I have downgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 7, most drivers works. But the graphic drivers wont take. It still says just standard vga display adapter. I have tried many catalyst drivers but it wont change. Im not getting any error messages. Also PCI drivers seems to not have been installed proper. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I'm using pavilion dv4 notebook from past 4 years...recently my startup screen doen't show anything. when i power it on all the LED's are glowing well but it doesn't show anything on login screen and no windows laoding also. Can anyone please suggest me to get it fixed.
Possuo um Notebook HP Pavilion DV6-6150sl que veio da Itália, instalado o windows 7 ultimate 64bits, todos os drivers funcionaram, menos o driver da WEBCAM
1º o windows não detecta camera no computador, não aparecem dispositovos de imagem no gerenciador de dispositivos
2º NÃO EXISTE um driver para baixar na página do modelo do notebook, não fala absolutamente em nada de driver para baixar para webcam
3º a única coisa que aparece relativo a webcam é o software cyberlink, que mesmo depois de instalado, quando abrimos o programa ele diz que não encontrou nenhuma camera no computador.
4º já fiz a atualização da BIOS, nada resolveu.
o que diz escrito na moldura da tela é HP TRUEVISION HD ( não encontro driver para isso)
Será q existe alguma tecla do teclado que faz ativar a webcam, pois é como se ela não existisse...
estou a ponto de jogar este notebook pela janela.
Alguém por favor pode ajudar?
I upgraded an HP ENVY Ultrabook 4-1130us to Windows 8.1 and now my video board will not project to another dispaly. I have updated the driver but it says my hardware is bad, which I find hard to beleive since it worked fine before the upgrade. I did not have a restore set so I cant go back.
Any ideas?? I have presentations tomorrow and will be traveling.
Well, after the 8.1 update I can't view my computer on the television through the HDMI output. Tried to download a new driver, don't know if it worked. Why does an update screw-up something already working and take two hours out of my day? Get your sh*t together or leave my computer alone.
Now provide me instructions to fix this and the necessary links. If this doesn't work, I'll provide a receipt for a refund.

When i'm looking at a video on youtube (not just youtube) and I put it on full screen about three minutes later it goes back to the regular size unless I just keep moving the mouse around. It does this with Firefox, Chrome, etc.
My compaq presario CQ60 is able to come upto BIOS. HDD test passed. HDD LED comes on. When you exit BIOS HDD LED goes off and screen goes blank with only backlight on.CMOS reset could not help. HDD boots in a different laptop. A working HDD will not work in my laptop. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thnx.

I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 from windows 8 while updgrading (Getting PC reday 60%) at this stage PC sudenly turning to black screen i have installed the latest video driver but still having this issues.
erilier i was using windows 8.1 once Norton stop working i have contacted Norton tech support team they updated my video driver from that i cannot upgarde my pc to windows 8.1 i tried almost everything as per HP Support team adviced as well as Intel Support team also.
I dont have any issues with Windows 8 issues only with when upgrading to windows 8.1
My PC Config : Intel Core i7 3rd Gen, Intel HD Graphics 4000, 8 GB Ram
PC Brand : HP ENVY dv6-7363cl Notebook PC
If any body can help me out to fix this issues will be verry helpful.

I installed sp55947.exe from esp site and when i istall it it says its 6490m
and I just updated it to sp59438.exe or sp63715 it says that it's 7470m
i have problem with playing games like world of warcraft i've got a lot of lag
i think it switches automatically to intel hd 3000

after each intallation the model number in device manager changes
also in (cpu.z) program it doesn't show the model number!

HP dv6-1355dx screen went black. On startup, lights blink, can see LED lights, fan works, all for a few seconds. Screen remains black. Went through checklist suggested by HP (hard reset, remove & reset memory modules, remove & reset hard drive), but none have resolved problem. Any other suggestions before I bite bullet & bring it to repair shop.

my cam is not working, My laptop modal is Hp Pavilion 14-b000ee.
When I turn on my notebook, the screen stays black. At first it only happened a few times, and was remedied when I restarted the computer. But now, restarting it is'nt working. I know the computer is working fine, those few times I restarted the computer it was working fine. I did'nt have any devices or USB's connected to the computer, so I know it's not a device causing it. I'm at a loss for what to try. Anyone have any suggestions?

When I turn my HP Pavilion G6-1326sa laptop on, the screen is very dim and is barely readable. I factory reset the laptop and it did not work. Can someone please help?

I did a clean install of Win 7 Enterprise 64 bit and added back the drivers fro the HP website, however the volume scrool bar won't display on the screen . I allready installe SP51701 HP On-Screen Dispaly Utility and theis did not correct the problem either.

I recently installed the windows 8.1 update and since then have noticed that the brightness keys (f2 and f3) are no longer working properly. They are no longer allowing me to adjust the screen brightness.
I checked for updates for my display adapter (AMD Radeon HD 7520G). There were not any.
