Hp Envy Touchsmart Sleekbook 4 touch screen stopped responding

Hi, The model of the computer is HP Envy Touchsmart Sleekbook 4   4-1195ca
My issue is with the settings or drivers. I know the touchscreen works. It just became unresponsive two days ago out of the blue. I'll save you some time: It says it does not have pen and touch features (anymore) so there is no option to enable it.
I'm thinking a driver somewhere is corrupted. It is under warranty though I don't want to resort to sending it in or wiping the hard drive.
