Hi. i just upgraded my pc to windows 10, the problem that am now experiencing is on the display....i cant change the display since i have no intel graphic drivers. I have been trying to download the intel drivers but all were in vain
I need your help plis.
I have a HP Spectre x360 - 13-4009na and have just upgraded to Windows 10. The problem is I cannot alter the screen brightness using any of the usual methods.
- The fn buttons do not work
- There is no brightness control displayed on the Control panel - Power Options
- The Calibrate Display Colour method fails with an error while "... preparing to calibrate ..." - "Unspecified error".
I have searched the HP support site for new drivers but I cannot find anything.
So my display is set to high brightness and I cannot change it. This is a pain in the ... eyes. Please can someone help?

I have upgraded my system to Windows 10, but now my video is terrible because Windows is using the "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" driver. I have not been able to get Nvidia to autodetect the exact card that is used in my Laptop. It keeps telling me I need to have Java installed before it can autodetect, but Java IS already installed. I need the proper driver for this card before I can have a good "Windows 10 experience".
I bought my laptop a few months ago, and it came with Windows 8.1. Yesterday, I upgraded to Windows 10. However, now, when I turn the laptop on, I get the HP logo on screen initially, and then the screen goes blank, rather than show Windows.
If I close the laptop lid, open it, and press the power button again, the screen comes to life and I see Windows. But any advice as to save having to do this? Why is it going blank in the first place?
I have installed windows 10 a day ago.I am facing the problem of display driver.After logging into my computer there is short period of black screen on desktop which remains for 1-2 seconds,then a pop up appears informing that "Display driver has stopped working and resumed"I have hp pavilion 15 n011tu notebook

hdmi was working fine before the upgrade (from windows 7 home premium to windows 10).
now it does not identify the tv.
i have changed nothing other than the upgrade.
looks like upgrade messed some driver??
i updated all the drivers i could.
guess didnt fix hdmi driver?
still no identification.
please provide a solution asap.

I cant increse or decrese my screen brightness. It is not the problem with keys because fn+f2 and fn+f3 work perfectly.

I bought my laptop back in 2012. Recently I decided to reinstall the windows as it was getting too slow (this is the first time I reinstalled).
I did not have my recovery DVD, so I downloaded a windows 7 ISO and installed using my code. However afterwards I tried installing drivers from following link yet the AMD card is in error state in the device manager and the Intel HD graphics does not work. WHen I try to install graphics drivers for Intel or switchable drivers I get an error that the system does not meet the minimum requirement.
This is strange as before reinstall the graphics were working okay. Any help would be appreciated.

Just got the upgrade yesterday to windows 10 and this started, I have never had this issue before. Please tell me how to resolve this issue. it kicks me out, blinks solid black screen about 6 times and then gives me this error code and restarts.

I have an HP 8710W (2050ea) mobile workstation with a defective Nvidia Quadro FX 3600 graphics card, HP spare number 468592-001.
I need to replace this graphics card with a similar one. the 468592-001 replacement parts appear hard to souce. Can anyone advise as to what graphics card I can replace this one with without the need to replace the single pipe cooling system installed in the laptop.
I have contacted Nvidia & they say I must contact HP to source a suitable replacement.

Hello, does anybody knows what driver I should install to make brightness keys (f2 &f3) working? After installing Windows 10 and new Catalyst they not working, however volume keys (f7 & f8) working good. Please help
With the arrival of Wtindows 10, there's the loss of Fixed Mode (meaning ability to turn off AMD 6770 and use only your integrated Intel GPU).
Is there a way to temporarly disable my AMD GPU (turn it entirely off)?
THere's an option in the decive manager to Disable it, but I'm not sure whether it actually does something or not.

i am unable to wake up my laptop from sleep or standby mode by using mouse or keyboard.
nothing happens however the light on the power button remain on.
finally i have to long press power button, to shut down and start again.
please suggest the solution to my problem asap.
also one main thing....i have recently updated my os to windows 10.
Just downloaded & installed Windows 10 from Windows 7 and now find there is only a generic driver installed for the Video which now limits resolution to 1280x800 max with no HD available. These were all available prior to the upgrade. I checked Windows Update with no success. Also Checked HP Support with same results. Does anyone have similar issues or have knowlege of what to do? I'd sure appreciate being able to see full screens with everything in it clearly again.

Even after installing youcam driver as given on the site, my laptop's front cam isn't working
it gives an error as you dont have the required vga harware driver
In google earth the resolution is terrible (white squares for planets, no topografia, etc.). Starting Google EArth error windows pop up mentioning Directx and OpenGL etc. Ive tried switching between Directx and OpenGL but still the same, I´ve downloaded recent DirectX, still same problems. Tried uninstalling GE and reinstalling, still the same problem, even with earlier versions of Google Earth.
