Just received my brand new HP Envy 15T-K200 laptop and I've got a few concerns where I thought I'd ask here before returning it to HP for a refund.
This particular model has The Intel HD4600 Graphics
1. The Display is very grainy. It looks like a screen door where all images look pixelated.
2. Windows icons, fonts, and GUI interface buttons are fuzzy and blurry.
3. HP Applications are crashing, and the Recovery Media creator wouldn't create the recovery discs
4. The Product Code shown on my order - and on the shipper shows a different Product code than what is printed on my laptop.
My order and shipper show Product Code K2T41AV. The laptop battery compartment Sticker shows a different Product Code of lesser value (I think it was K2T35 or similar). Did I get the incorrect laptop shipped? Both Product codes say the Laptop is a K200 per HP's site, but the different product codes.
Focusing on the deal breaker for me - the Display.
I checked the display properties and nothing seems out of order.
Resolution is up to maximum. I did try changing it to a lesser value, but it just made the display more fuzzy and blurry.
It appears to be the screen itself rather than a video issue, since the screen appears to be a matte finish, like a year 1999 flat panel monitor - with similar resolution.
Has anyone else ordered this unit and had the similar experience?
Did you find it to be a driver issue, or was it hardware?
