Hey Guys
I was fixing a mates Pavilion Dv7, it was having over heating problems. So took it apart to clean the radiator and put new heat transfer paste for the CPU and Graphics. Now that I have put it back together the screen is extremely dim. It looks like a ghost image on the screen. I have to use a torch to see whats going on. I have plugged the laptop into an external screen and works fine, brightness is on full but laptop screen still not right.
Please help
Has there been a solution found to the runonce Wrapper? I have 65 Windows updates that are waiting and I want to make sure that I do not download that wrapper because I know that it causes the black screen. i was told by HP support after having to completely restor my laptop to factory setting to not download any of the updates. Is this still true? Any help would be appreciated.
Approximately 1/3 of the display is a different shade and I cannot figure out how to correct the problem. There is a vertical line that separates the change in shading. Also, there are random cases in which the sceen just starts flickering and bouncing around.
My BIOS does not have any option to change switchable graphics from Dynamic to FIXED mode.Due to this I cannot switch between amd and intel graphic cards manually.
My pc os is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.My bios version is Insyde F.23.Pls help

Whenever I try to change brightness settings in the HD Graphics control panel, my entire screen become illegibly pixelated and turns to neon colors. I can't read or see anything exept pixels and neon colors when this happens. This happens when I move the slider, I don't even need to apply the settings for it to happen.
The only way to get back to a normal display is to close my screen and open it back up again.
How can I fix this? I just got this computer after sending another one back for a hardware issue?
Thanks!
Good Evening,
I have windows 7 ultimate, and I formatted the pc just so I had to reinstall all the drivers.
But I have a problem: I can not find the appropriate driver for my video card "AMD Radeon HD 7600m Series". If I go to device manager, I see that on the video card, there is a warning message that says: "The device reported a problem and has been discontinued. (Code 43)." I have an HP Pavilion g6 2341sl.
Thank You.
After logging in, the screen goes black, with only the mouse visible. I can run programs through task manager and the computer runs normally until after I log in. I would like to know whether this can be fixed asap since I need a computer for school.

Issue with external monitors.
I cannot get extended display mode. only cloned display mode.
I can ONLY get extended display when I boot the laptop with the monitor plugged in, but as soon as i reposition the monitor to the left of the laptop monitor it resets to cloned screen mode.
I bought a new HP 15-d000sx. When i turned it on , after the FreeDos on screen, C:\> were displayed. Please help me on how I can start it up. I dont know how to open Windows on this laptop too. Any help will be much appreciated.

I've recently had to remove my hard drive from a previous HP G6 in which all the USB ports failed. I was given my mums old HP G6 minus her hard drive.
My previous laptop was fitted with the AMD graphics but the replacment is a Intel. I've got all the drivers installed but I'm unable to get the Intel(R) HD Graphics working correctly and I'm getting the following message:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.
I'm now stuck on how to resolve this issue. Any help is appreciated

Dear sir/madam,
The screen of my laptop has a small black spot on the top right corner. The screen from outside is completely intact, but that spot remains there despite cleaning or rubbing on it.
Over the past few days, the size of the spot has increased by a small amount. I am very concerned as to what it is and how this problem can be resolved!
I purchased this machine just a month ago end of december 2014.
Does the entire screen have to be replaced? If it does, does the cost get covered within the warranty, because there are 3 years to go in the warranty. It is A BRAND NEW LAPTOP.
That black spot was present on the screen long ago (even when I bought it a month ago), but it was so tiny it went unnoticeable .
Find an image of the screen (screenshot) attached.
Please reply!
Thankyou!

Hi
After my monitor died I got a 24" LED Combo Television/DVD player FLDC2400 60hz, 1080p resolution by Fluid. The guy in the shop said it would work as a computer monitor. The only problem is that when I have it set to the recommended resolution (I clicked on that 'detect' button in the control panel display settings) the image is clear and sharp but waaaaay off to the right, cutting about 1/8 of the display and leaving a thick panel of black over the other side. If I make the resolution lower it centers again but then everything has that low quality fuzzy bloated look to it. Is there something I can do so that the proper resolution screen works?
Thanks! And if anyone is kind enough to answer please know I am a computer dummy so explain things as you would to a five year old!!! :-)
i didn't found graphic driver for windows 10 , please help me thanks
