UGH! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH WITH THIS STUPID LAPTOP!!!!!!!!! IT IS CONSTANTLY SHUTING OFF ON ITS OWN WHY! ??? Srsy i have only haad it for a few years, and its been shuting off on its own with no warning. i have lost alot of valuble work in the hands of this problem! SO I CANT TRUST IT TO ANYTHING! i bought this laptop with another person who has the same problem! AND ITS GETTING WORSE EVERYDAY! PLZ FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!

Bios problems cannot dissable intel HD on laptop [bios]
Hello!
Im having problems with streaming or known as Open software broadcater.
After update cannot able to stream because games were other gpu and obs did not detected it.
Solution found at forums that can dissable videocard by bios and then it will work normaly.
Have another Hp laptop and it has ''Advanced menu'' its just for all and yeah, for this station its locked and tried to find it on internet but there wasn't unlocked bios that would give me a chanse to fix the issue.
Solution : Get unlocked bios and dissable Intel HD
Requesting : Modified bios update !

Change graphics
I need help. I want to use my hp notebook 15 to play some games. Usually modest games graphic-wize. like tf2. But my onboard intel hd graphics only has 32 mb of space. I ent into the bios and did what the page on the hp website told me to do but there's no video section in the bios. How do I change it? PS. have 4 gigs of ram, thinking of getting 8.

All my icon hang after sometime booting my system

Graphics drivers not starting and performance
I cannot get the Standard VGA Graphics adapter to start after trying all methods to do so.
Does this affect the laptop performance?
The device manager also has Intel HD Graphics 3000 so is this doing all the work?
Should I be able to see the AMD Radeon HD 7690 MXT ?
I tried to reinstall the AMD Catalyst driver but got Install package failure. Wouldnt restart but after several attempts it started normally
Will a clean Windows install fix this?

can any one help i recently brought a hp pavillion zd8000 - 3ghz cpu-2gb memory-160gb hard drive which runs fine but has 1 problem i cannot up-date the display driver as every time i try i keep getting =blue screen of death-blank screen syndrome- and/or coloured bars a cross the screen= i am running windows 7 but this laptop has harmon/kardon speakers (not altec/lansing speakers) have tried "find my product" down load but keep getting "not found" have also been on the amd website but it keeps loading "the ati mobility radeon x600 driver" but this keeps crashing the laptop? i have no labels to get a specific number!!?? i have come to the conclusion that it is a driver incompatible problem i have tried to down load other drivers but the x600 kept being down loaded (is there any way around this ) has any one loaded vista/win 7 or 8 and had problems like mine that has been rectified? any help/ideas please

Cannot use Switchable graphic card. what is going on?
HI. I have been using this labtop for a year now, and I have been having trouble using this because this labtop's switchable graphic thing doesnt work. I bought this just becuase it had Radeon HD 7600m, which was pretty suitable for playing games on it as well as doing school work. But when I am playing games on it, it only uses Intel HD 4000 which gives me worse results. It is really stressful and I cant take it anymore. Can I get any help with my situation right now?

Touchscreen not working on HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b124us
Hi There,
I have upgraded my hard drive and reinstalled windows 8.1 from a USB drive. First week my touch screen worked fine , after that it started not responding (sleep functionality will also not work). I tried all the suggestions made on the web, non worked. I got my harddrive replace by Staples, when I took them, they said everything (hard ware) is fine and they told them that I have to update my drivers.
I downloaded HP support assistant and downloaded all the drivers but still my touch screen does not work.

I am not sure what is missing. Any help will be appreciated.

hi i have bought HP 15-r004ne NoteBook PC laptop when i make partition i lost all data unfortunately than i remove all partitions including backup..after that i installed new window 8.1 64 bit now its working fine but i have one problem i cant see any startup logo of HP when i start my laptop only black screen came and than window starts how can i get back my hp logo??? plz guide me

Slow performance with high resolution external monitor
Hello,
I recently bought HP EliteBook 840 G1, i7-4600U, 8gb ram, HD intel graphics 4400, 256GB SSD.
Everything would be fine, but when I connect my 30" Dell monitor with 2560x1600 resolution as an external monitor, the performance of the computer drops significantly to the point where it becomes unconvenient to work with programs that require more resorces.
I understand that it might be due to limitations of the hardware (most probably graphic card is too weak ? ), but still I'd like to ask if there is anything I could do to boost the performance of HP Elitebook with high resolution external monitor.

Hp Envy 6 BIOS with fixed graphics mode
Hi
Why HP still not updated the BIOS of the Envy notebooks? A lot of people are waiting to upgrade BIOS with fixed graphics mode. My ATI graphics is useless! I tried a lot of versions of the drivers from HP, ATI, Intel, but still it does not work. Can someone please help? Does anyone know the unofficial BIOS with this feature?
